Technobit  Up to 10 week delays in shipment of some customers Minion Group Buy Units.

The hurt / delays continue for some customers of Technobit who have paid substantial amounts for miners over 10 weeks ago.

I agree with scrappy here, Batch 1 should of been sent out by now. reading the thread its totally unprofessional sending out small orders first.
i see some people waiting 10 weeks now for there order to be shipped out and nothing. Seems people with large orders are getting shafted.

I think compensation is due MARTO!!!!

People have been patient with you since you had a problem with the boards, but this now seems to be resolved.
So what exactly is going on??

i do not what to take legal action as BFL are facing and now KNC miner, marto.
You really havent provided any updates to people with large orders on the forum at all.

Please provide a clear update on what is going on and when everyone's orders are going to be fulfilled and compensation package.
with have been patient, but you have taken are patience for granted now.

There is seriously something wrong with this thread. Folks Martin has yet to deliver batch one yet we have 3 confirmed cases of him shipping batch 2. He says "small orders" Fuck that shit. Mine may have been large and paid in fiat. I have as of to date received 6 of 50, and Marto has promised 6 shipping dates and only sent once!

 Guys, enough of the bullshit.

 I paid in fiat for a flat conversion, have been lied to about shipping, and seen batch 2 orders go out before mine. Check the thread, I was in page 2 and traded in 2 x3's and paid in fiat. I know I am not alone here as I have spoke to many of you in pm's. Enough with the BS, bring it.

scrappy do, dam so shipments are just trickling out. i would of thought at least batch 1 would of been completed by now

I haven't received a single one of my 88 boards. My chips have been at technobit since July 17th.

Marto any news when batch 2 will be shipped, its been over a month now since you received my chips. ive emailed you on your site, 2 weeks ago and no reply.
would like to know whats happening with those.

you going to be offering any compensation for late deliveries now. awaiting 25 boards  Angry and counting

 No offense Guyver, but he hasn't even shipped batch one out. Hopefully he will not ship out anymore batch 2 like the mistake made last week. I just got my first partial shipment today 6 of 50. I know its been over a month for you and I hate it, but it has been over 10 weeks for some of us.

Then Loshia and Marto74 spend the whole day yesterday and today spamming threads cause they don't like people pointing out their failures.

Amazing he can't even get simple customer service right I wonder what the problem is?

Marto - Can you please give us an update on sending the customer list to Minersource for batch 1 customers?  I asked this same question almost 24 hours ago and it went unanswered.  Please let us know where you are at with this list because these delays are really hurting our ROI on these boards.

Their boards they're showing are the Technobit HEX16b boards.

What they've shown so far is that they can take Technobit's existing PCB and shove some of them into cases with the heatsink fins oriented the wrong way. No credible customers have reported receiving their Bitfury based units.

They haven't shown that they have done any engineering whatsoever, so it's extremely unlikely they have their own 28nm design on the way. By the same token given their pricing it seems hard to believe they could be using anyone else's 28nm products. It is on sale though.

I'd love to be wrong on this, but I would honestly be shocked if anyone who ordered a 1.2TH/s miner ends up getting it. I would suggest staying far away unless they can post something credible detailing their incoming design.

Found that on the AMT thread. Still seems fishy to me, also some people has pointed out that the AMT cabinet is just a NAS server, from another company. And the boards they are posting pictures of, is from technobit.

 There are still many who did not have the insurance of using PayPal who are forced to just wait and hope... Maybe the order will turn up eventually - but only when the GH/S's for the equipment you ordered is probably not going to provide a break even letalone a profit.

To advertise something as 'in stock' and talk of delivery dates never met in this game is a scam as time is money. Who is to say that the team are not putting your ordered equipment through an extended period of 'testing'?

I won't deal with them again as to me they blatantly lied about my second order being shipped - not once but twice! I don't care what the excuses are - their lack of respect for customers, lack of communication and the BS when there is a reply is no way a reputable business is run.

So busy failing to respond to customers yet has time to always post here over and over again. Takes two seconds to lie to your customer... excuse number 34 we sent it but the shipping company sent it to the wrong location... then evidence shows you never sent it. Remember that one Marto? Why is that? His behavior is so much like Josh you'd think they were soul mates. Both Zerlan and Zipkin. Forget the fact that his wife and Zipkin's wife are friends... nothing to see here. Move along. Wasn't wrong about BFL not wrong about Technobit. Do no buy from this guy. He uses the same tactics for ignoring customers and abusing customers just like BFL has in the past. Don't be fooled by this company. There are plenty of complaints and the faux accounts he created to mask it along with 10 threads of product placement here to distract you from what happens when things are not delivered is not that hard to pick up on. Here comes his BCP look alike Loshia... yet another PAID SHILL for Technobit.

Stockholm Syndrome... some customers might have been given a deal to get their orders ahead in the queue to post negative against myself. Something that is clearly the pattern in Marto74 repertoire of lie, deny and obfuscate. Rather than being honest and dealing directly with customers complaints it is attack the messenger and not to fix the problem.

Because he need to set up his own farm and cloud hashing first to recoup from the losses of buying ALOT of parts to manufacture the boards?

Poor scrappy, he doubled down on the Black Arrow scam. I'm sorry I called him an asshole but he needs to be realistic about 1W/Gh/s at the current difficulty with unreasonably delayed hardware. Maybe he can underclock/undervolt.

Refunding every customer who made an order would only cost a small fraction of the revenue they've mined, BA should do the right thing.

I wouldn't blame the customer. There is obviously a disconnect again between what the customer expected and what Technobit, Minersource and BA delivered. Be this yet another warning to steer clear of Technobit. Unlike more reputable companies Technobit is willing and has proven they will throw a few customers under the bus every few months for shits and giggles. Why risk it?

 Que I feel ya man. He seriously is shipping the smallest first. I complained and complained and now he say's how about partial shipments? Man WTF indeed. Umm shouldn't you take care of orders in which they came? One would think you would fulfill them in the order received, especially when my entire order was paid in fiat. I have never heard of such a business philosophy in my life. Yet daily they are shipping conversion orders out. Its not the fiat he is worried about, its the btc. I have a feeling every conversion he is doing he is moving the other half to the side... feel my drift?

I understand martos system of shipping.

At first there was problem with MCUs. He could send bad boards or have delay. Okay, for everyone (us as customers, marto as manufacter) is better to have delay instead of RMAs.

Problem solved and what now? We have huge delay and so many customers are angry.

For company (marto) is better to have one angry customer (with 150 boards) instead of 37 customers (for example 4 boards to one customer). So he sent small orders first. It is not fair for some customers, but is the best what he can do (because company name). Finaly he got 900 neutral customers, 90 positive customers and 10 negative (but from the full set is the smallest group). Ok, this is the smallest evil. I think this is the real status (and marto cannot say this because the angry customers with many boards).

It is not fair, but is the life with real business.

 Ok but by that thinking.. would one not assume that fiat take precedence? He has openly said there are 2 fiat/btc customers. I in fact are one of them, damn near $11k USD. He could not give a shit about me? I understand your point, my point is for every board you ship, you at least have another on the side to take care of those that take care of you.

 I dunno, it seems like a no brainer to me, but to tell your best paying customers to fuck off, it kinda seems like cut the hand off that feeds you. Unless my boards been up and running the entire time.

How about the 100% simply buy from a more reputable company that is interested in handling 100% of the customers with the same respect? That would be the way those Thumbs Up companies do it.

Confirmation a second time that they promised to refund in 10 days.
Refund denied and product is 'shipped' against the wishes and the agreement for refund.

That is fraud and just goes directly to the LACK of ethics of Marto74. This pattern is well documented where people are promised refunds in a short time frame then orders are "shipped" after weeks and months of delays. This customer is still waiting for the promised refund. You might become his next victim. Why risk it?

Tecnobit's model is bullshit and there are many examples of their poorly organized Japanese system of Just in Time manufacturing that often goes south on purpose because when you run out of boards parts etc you keep the money and then ignore the customers and then offer the "upgraded" product. Wait doesn't BFL do that? It is pretty clear your shell game is only different in one respect. You don't actually explain to people you are not building to order. You limit your numbers based on the time for next board that you pump out with the money you collect for the previous boards and the cycle continues. So if there is any hitch like failed boards or RMA or multiple refund requests then you ignore the problems as that is not factored into your "business" model. You are hiding the fact you often collect money for units you never intend on building for people and that is clearly FRAUD and there is more than enough evidence to prove this in court. This is the main reason people shouldn't buy from you beside the fact you still owe people boards and money etc.

After that post we will work on another case study of btcminer84 who sought compensation and the struggles he had. Unfortunately he remains seeking compensation still after months of trying to get it. So a set of basic patterns have been uncovered.

1. Tracking numbers sent then cancellation of the shipment to delay shipments of units that didn't exist.
2. No tracking numbers sent, say you will send shortly, ignore customer for weeks or months depending on the next unit released.
3. Say units are being built and make no effort to set limits or cut off dates collect more orders than units available.
4. Delays through ignored requests for information, refunds potentially ignored until the customer is insisting in public forums or a better cash flow situation exists.
5. Blame shipping delays on failure to pay for extra shipping or for not contacting Tecnobit promptly.
6. Blame failed shipping on customer or shipping companies failure to provide proper information.
7. Outright blacklisting of customer base and refusal to refund those who are the most vocal.
8. Promise refunds of fees and the abject failure to deliver on said promise time and time again.
9. Ignore refund requests and ship useless or outdated miners months later.
10. Staging faux CRM threads for the public's consumption. Oh my how transparent.

This laundry list of complaints often have variants of the same theme and are only pulled from the posts in the threads that are unmoderated and in plain sight of the community. These problems are not old. They are in fact recent and go up to the present time. No matter how hard his supporters want to defend Technobit there are still a significant number of people who were wronged and damaged by his actions. Who were lied to. Who were defrauded. Just because you pump out product after product doesn't give a company the right to blatantly ignore the poor business practices they continue to employ.

Further it can easily be argued it is well within the rights of anyone in this community to explore his record and the WARN people NOT to buy from him given the available evidence. If you don't like what you see here then please click ignore and the problem goes away as this is the only thread you will see me post on Technobit. What is posted here is fully DOCUMENTED in these forums. There is nothing that is false or untrue. One might ignore the actually merits of a claim based on the vocal nature of the claimants but really it doesn't mean that Marto74 was faultless. In fact there is clear evidence he was out to defraud and he has lied to customers repeatedly right up to this very day.

Let us now look at joeventura and his unfortunate experiences with Technobit.

Still no refunding of fees or chips in hand. Marto74 has not done nearly enough to make this customer whole. And this is the exact sort of thing you might want to avoid. All you have to do is simply not order from Technobit. There are plenty of other places to get units off the shelf and at a comparable price why risk this sort of folly?

A simple:

"Oh hey you missed the message. How can I make it right?"
"Is sending you the chips ok?"
"Can I give you a voucher for future products?"

But no, what does Marto74 go directly to? Antagonise, ignore and then blame the customer and make them go all apeshit. This is just one in about 20+ plus examples over the period he has been in business in these forums. Marto74 choosing confrontation vs. simply admitting his limitations or liability coupled with the utter failure to communicate. Every disgruntled customer has the same story and it goes without reason you take a huge chance to be treated the same way if he screws up your order as well.

Still no chips for Joeventura and given Marto74's propensity for spite he never shipped those chips given the plenty of lies he has told about shipping in the past and even more recently... Caveat Emptor! Who would do business with a person like that? Seriously who should trust anyone that unprofessional?

For those pissed by Bick and his lies and for Technobit customers real isues

I sense desperation and the lack of spell check. If you simply copy and paste his customers complaints in chronological order they magically become lies that people should be pissed at? And for real Technobit customers?  The few you have left that still cling to the idea that the bigger the heat sink the better the paperweight? It looks like your stuff is made at the Moskvitch factory circa 1966-67. That isn't a compliment.

All jokes aside the shell game that Technobit played for so long is coming to an end no more places to hide where you can pretend you have shipped something and then cancel the order and stop the tracking numbers. We don't do that anymore do we Marto74 as it actually leaves an electronic trail and when people called the shippers they found out you lied? Now you just say you ship it tomorrow or will ship it soon and then don't for months knowing full well you were never going to make any more of that specific unit you said was ready to go, don't worry about it. Slick buddy really slick.

This guys losing his grip. One thread so we are not spamming up the boards and then he starts in just like before dumping on plenty threads playing his games. This is where it all started and in all deference to those that do not like a proper accounting of his bullshit practices you can easily ignore this thread. There is only 1 of them unfortunately he has littered the board with his faux help thread and countless rants in more calling all his "customers" and shills to defend him from what? A single person copying and pasting all his past deeds? What does he have to hide?

So we get it. If you complain too much then you get nothing. If you complain a little you wait 4 to 9 months for anything until you complain just a bit more or loud enough to see results. What do people get now? Nothing? At this point you know the community isn't going to simply accept that sort of behaviour. It is clear you run a huge risk of never seeing your money or your miners. And if you so much as complain you get nothing. So where have we seen this before? BFL? HashFast? AMT? KnC? BA? Bitmine.ch? Cointerra? Just one more joke to add the list of companies that seems to think it is ok to hold community coins for as long as they like with no repercussions. Just don't buy from Technobit it is clear they do not want to be professional. Look at Marto74's behavior is that what you would expect from a professional?

Those are the actions of a disturbed individual struggling to reconcile his unethical behaviour with his a false perception of what a great and noble guy he is giving the world his great gift of miners. Great you are an engineer thanks but lose the attitude. Borderline Personality Disorder? It seems the more you pinpoint the problem the more he lashes out rather than finding a compromise position and resolving disputes in a professional manner. Remember what happened to southerngentuk it didn't matter he was polite or professional Marto74 still tried to turn it around on him. Same with this instance. Trying to deflect blame rather than take responsibility. There are 6 year olds with better social and negotiating skills than Marto74.

I have received a refund for my order (marto still has those now useless chips, my loss).

Four months has passed since the expected delivery date, therefore I do not in anyway feel satisfied.

This does however bring an element of closure so I can stop pestering in Marto's threads.

My apologies to all who have had to put up with my constant posts, I wish it could have been done in a different manner but when PM's are Ignored it leaves little options.

Just got a PM from a Marto customer (I won't reveal name unless he says its ok) who said that Marto had his money for almost 9 months and refused to refund it until he removed the negative feedback.

1. He is blackmailing his customers so they can get a refund
2. He is refunding 9 month old purchases which is definitive proof that he took money and providing nothing in return and now in an effort to try and recover some credibility he is trying to refund a few people but won't do it unless they agree to remove the truth.

Same Group buy I was in where he didnt refund my money because of his GB rules, he refunded this guy.

Yes he keeps learning Joe. He deletes any records of complaints in more recent sales threads and the customer echo chamber thread where only positive comments are kept. If anyone from his [ANN] Technobit 60 Ghs HEX16B(Bitfury v.2 based) 16 chip board design - 149 EUR sales has a complaint we will hear them here but clearly he will not refund people who speak out. People have to avoid this pos company. You just can't trust him to deliver on time or refund promptly. The only way to get any reputation back at this point is to refund everyone he owes. He probably doesn't even know who he owes at this point given there is quite a large number who have already complained.

Let us continue with what happens if you are very polite and patient for months waiting and waiting on Technobit and Marto74. How does one get treated? Do you get apologies and support? This customer was for months patient polite and gave Technobit every opportunity to rectify the situation properly but in the end it required aggressive and unrelenting badgering of Marto74 to get a resolution as a last resort.

The amount time and money that was wasted without any compensation is simply unacceptable. You do not have to buy from someone like this anymore so please everyone in the bitcoin community DO NOT BUY from TECHNOBIT.

Unfortunately he stumbled on Marto74's threads before all of the shit hit the fan in July 11, 2013, but soon there was plenty of evidence from the group buy to foreshadow what was going to happen here.

Is it chained? I see 6 usb cable there.

I would love more info on what is required for the chaining so I can order the
required connectors. Also a short guide on recompiling cgminer on minepeon

Am sorry to say that I have wished to purchase other products on offer over the
past few months however with an outstanding order I refuse to do so.
I had a lot of faith here and pointed at least 3 others to technobit to get chips
mounted.

I hope other products aren't effected in this manner.

I completely understand the logistics is a nightmare.

A simple cut-off point would be good for the future.
xxxx more boards required before assembly run would
give customers an idea of where they stand, or some
indication of what batch there in with an estimate of
when the batch will hit production.

It really is shocking how someone can turn it around and blame a customer like this who for over 4 months was polite and supportive of Marto74 and Technobit. When things go wrong... Marto74 fails to take responsibility, pay off his debts until you put a large amount of pressure on him to do what is required. Ethically he has not compulsion to do what is right and it is always the customer that has to drag him to the reality he is a worthless pos.

Follow along to the end. Same exact blame laid on the customer by Marto74 and it takes a concerted campaign to finally get Marto74 to pay his debt. This is just 2 such customers there are plenty more. Tune in tomorrow for another story.

You had my chips*, and I payed for my shipping*, you expressed no problems on our part back in December or again in early January.

And I have not seen a post where you have said our orders are ready, get your shipping to collect.

It is not fair to blame us, even if some of us did not pay for shipping, the boards where not ready were they.

To imply that this is in some way the fault of your customers is damn insulting.

*It would appear that tracking by DHL does not work once packages get on Bulgarian soil, and you have ignored my requests to confirm that you where in receipt of the chips.

*At the time of my first order, I believed that you where looking for alternative shipping options as speedy was so costly, so I did not initially pay for shipping. I payed for shipping on my second order and asked you to combine shipping. I will pay you for any extra costs that you incur for this, once you send me a PM with the amount and a payment address (in BTC) as I promised to do so. In fact I insist on this. I am a man of my word and despite the poor service my honor is paramount.

I'm in the same order group as you if I'm not mistaken. This was sobering as I did the maths and Marto would owe me an additional 400ghz to to currently earn what I would have if he delivered within his 4 week window. I doubt there will be any type of customer care here, he already got what he came for. Even buying with paypal is a huge risk as seen by the Marto/btcminer84 fiasco.

Yeh, its quite some hit, I really think its time that some offer was made. However just getting the GH paid for, seems a huge issue at the moment.

Its a real shame as I believe they are good products and I think martin is really good at the technical aspects of his projects.

Unfortunately, I believe anyone making future purchases should seriously consider time dependent escrow arrangements.

I have received a refund for my order (marto still has those now useless chips, my loss).

Four months has passed since the expected delivery date, therefore I do not in anyway feel satisfied.

This does however bring an element of closure so I can stop pestering in Marto's threads.

So we left off with clear evidence that Marto74 still has a promise to refund BTC to a number of members of his group buy since September 2013. Now we will shift gears and have a deeper look into one customer and his complaints and final assessment of Marto74 / Technobit. This I would say is the model for most of what was going on in the October 2013 to February 2014 period and beyond where I suspect Marto74 / Technobit was either undercapitalized or had made some form of design / just in time parts ordering errors and chose to cover the fact with some pretty shifty games with delivery and delaying of refunds. This overlaps the group buy time frame and issues as well and funny haven't we seen him delay refunds before? Yes. Yes we have.

When I check the speedy.bg site the order that said 'shipped'
first on the Technobit order has changed to:-

"canceled SYSTEM RETURN"  on speedy.bg tracking  Roll Eyes.

My order which said shipped a couple of days later has apparently
reached Germany according to tracking...

I PM'd Marto about what was happening regarding the order
that has canceled and he was going to look into this today - as yet no response.

I have left a few messages through the Technobit site but
I suspect these are not monitored as I have never had a
response via that route.

I had a problem with the other order (on 13th) - this was returned 'canceled'...
Marto74 promised to UPS them to me (that was a couple of days ago)...
I think he must be very busy (best to PM him) - but he does eventually
deliver and as he is in the EU this saves the VAT hit of 20% + import
taxes here in the UK if we order from the US/outside of the EU.

One week on - I am still waiting - given that UPS Express quote
1 day from Sofia to London I think it stands to reason that my order was
not sent out 4th December... But as I have not received an updated UPS
tracking number (as I have requested twice) then there is no way of knowing
what (if anything) is going on. I notice quite a few on another thread have
said that their orders have gone to the Speedy courier only to be 'canceled'
(system returned) a couple of days later. The people that have experienced
this seem to be Nanofury orders. The reality is that couriers do not 'cancel'
for no reason and I am cynically thinking that they have been in fact been
canceled by Technobit themselves to fulfill other orders. Of course I hope
to be wrong on this one but the fact is that whilst there is only black hole
(one way communications) with Technobit/Marto74 there is no way of knowing
what is going on. I have PM'd twice in the last few days and given up hoping to
get a response via the Technobit site. I will wait a couple more days and if
nothing it will be a strongly worded message requesting a refund. Failing this
it will of course be chargeback time.

+1 - my second order has not arrived still - Marto74 talks rubbish about
January delivery - now open when he has not even dealt with orders back to
October & November. He makes a big deal about not being a scammer - yet
does nothing to address his lack of communication. He says he will 'offer
refund in 5 minutes' - but actually the reality is that he ignores such requests.
PayPal offer a 45 day dispute window although I don't hold up much hope
here as he has obviously had his account suspended as Technobit no longer
accept PayPal. So the chargeback maybe the only route now. May not be out
and out scam as some products do drip feed their way out - but to place an
order without any credit card guarantees - forget it! You will regret it!

One could easily note that Marto74 probably shipped an empty box and then cancelled the order. There are more than a few cases
where Marto74's boxes seem to either go missing or are shipping delayed or lost. It is amazing.

And Marto74 naturally reacts to the customer who questions his truthfulness with anger and a good helping of fuck you customer. Marto74 seems to behave as if he has some sort affliction something akin Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It fits and I have personally seen PM's and posts that certainly attest to the fact Marto74 has a psychotic disproportionate response to polite suggestions that he work on his customer relationship management. He loves to threaten to end you in no uncertain terms. Beware he is certainly unstable and will go to any lengths to maintain his perception of his world view, seriously he is such a great guy .

of feelings in their body. This does not mean they do not feel. It
means their feelings are generated by what they believe about

My situation was a little different.

I placed my first order on 10th November - and this was delivered a little
late but that was ok as I was being kept updated by the general released
email to everyone on the Technobit list. I was happy to wait and the goods

that is a perfectly valid reason for me wanting to know what was going on...
So I didn't post on the open forum I PM'd Marto... He replied (the last I had)
that the boards were returned for unknown reason and that he would send them
out UPS Express the next day at his expense. The next day was 4th December
- after a couplle of days I PM'd requesting a new UPS tracking number.
I followed this up over the next few days with requests to be told what was
going on etc - these were to threads that Marto views as well as PM's.

This was not a situation of just waiting because I am pretty sure that waiting
for my elusive package would have resulted in the expiry of Paypal dispute
time and ultimately the expiry of chargeback time and I would then still have
no goods... Given that Marto had said that he was going to UPS Express them
to me - I took that word on trust - he betrayed that trust and that is something
you should not do for customers you wish to keep. Of course BFL are just as
bad but comparing another bad example does not make the Technobit situation
right!

With the nature of mining hardware speed is of the essence and of course
delays cost money... Everyone knows the Terrahash units are going to appear
early in the new year - when these appear 24GH/s / 40GH/s boards will become
extremely diluted in the pool with those big boys and revenue from these will
plummet. So at this stage of the game even a small delay could mean the
difference between profit and loss from mining. Which is exactly why 'In Hand'
stuff on Ebay does fetch a premium because it is a known quantity which
removes some of the gamble.

I don't feel as though I have done anything wrong by requesting a refund as
Marto/Technobit could not provide me with some communication as to what
was happening to my apparently 'shipped' order. I wasn't waiting for it to be
built according to our previous communications (when they existed).

I see possible evidence here on these pages that suggests he has ripped
people off (but to be fair I can only judge by the postings here) - at the same
time I know from personal experience he can deliver the goods and they are of
good quality. But I would ask one question to those now waiting....

Do you not think it a little odd that Marto is happy to promote January
shipping orders and working hard to ship December orders - at the same
time as blatantly ignoring those waiting for information about undelivered
October and November orders? That to me has alarm bells ringing! I hope
I am wrong - but I have been in this same situation before
(not with Technobit or Marto) where the continuation of the business
and the fulfillment of old orders relied on the ever increasing generation
of new orders - in other words in my previous situation it was a ponzi...
Those in at the right time profited but when it collapsed I was one of the
many that lost out. This is bearing all the wrong hallmarks of a sustainable
business. I hope for all those waiting and even for Marto himself that he
does change his business ethics... Some words of wisdom for Marto himself -
if you have a rapidly expanding business you have to build the structure
at the same time as that acts as the skeleton (pillars) that holds your
business together - this is standard business knowledge to anyone
that has successfully grown their own business and widely taught in
business schools/colleges.

Has Marto74 changed his ways? Does it really matter? If you are going to risk thousands of dollars with a business that acts in this manner in the past when things get really tough or tight what do you think they are going to do? Are they going to make the customer whole? Are they going to do what is ethically and legally required? Are they going to communicate clearly about delays? Are they going to fly off the handle because of a personality disorder?

Remember this is just one case. More to come tomorrow. If you were buggered badly by Marto74 and want your story to be highlighted in this way just PM me and I go through all the board posts and layout the history of how you get fucked over by Marto74. I would really like to get a sense of what losses people incurred as result of these false deliveries and subsequent months of waiting for units that were never even built by Marto74. Given just the last few days of delving into this there are plenty of victims here and it would even be worthy of class action given the lengths Marto74 went to delay refunds just in the few forum reference searches I have done.

This problem is far more worse than just a few angry people not getting units there is a systematic attempt to delay and misdirect and lie to customers about the nature of the products being in stock covering up the fact that many of the boards being sold were pre-orders. Let me see how many of these complaints pan out in this way but you have to know that dealing with a company like this is just not safe given the lengths they go to hide what they are really up to. I would recommend no one order at all from Technobit until they make good on refunds and reimbursements should there be outstanding complaints.

Its overwhelming the amount of people Technobit/Marto have screwed over.

Not delivering,

Making up and changing Group buy rules as he sees fit,

Using other peoples money that he did not earn to develop his toy miners,

then trying to defend these actions. He even admitted that he did many of these things and still is not interested in making it right.

Just be warned that this kind of behavior does not go unnoticed and people like me who Marto has ripped off for over $1000 are not going to go away quietly.

Avoid Technobit and Marto at all costs you will not be sorry.

Yes ok Marto has just "doubled" his fees, error in one tired GB members calculations, for the GB and has for weeks delayed and delayed as much as he could so that he could get those chips and build the boards he had ordered BEFORE even having the chips tsk tsk tsk. He had to cover his ass and then sell his boards or face ruin and so he ignored the majority of the people in the GB wanted for 2 weeks.

The amounts in the list are based on 0,07821 BTC per chip , that is the Avalon cost that was refunded to the escrow address .
The rest 9 % are the GB tax including the escrow fee.
The escrow fee of 2 % - 0,0015642   BTC per chip is not refundable .

agreed. Also there was no word on the HEX16 being designed at the start 
of this GB1 when we paid for the chips. It was not part of the terms.
Also, even if this wasn't the case,I'm not willing to pay a design fee when
you still have given no word on what will done with boards of people with a
chip refund.
Can they be refunded when gen2 arrives and new people start ordering? If
not there would be no need for a design fee since you then basically got free
boards to sell.

Would you consider yourself a happy Technobit customer under these circumstances?

The reason I ask is because I seriously "think" that Marto47 and team think that they've done right by you despite any mistakes on their part.

Please explain your experience cliff notes style with a link to the reverent info or a img of your pm's ect. I plan to do
the same.

He basically is saying in my case that he is square with me (has completed his obligation within the rules of the forum and his website) even though he delivered 3 TO 4 months late sans any type of hash rate compensation or even a fucking apology for that matter   & this is all after I asked for a refund both of which just happen to be totally outside of any possibility of ROI.

Truthfully I did try to sell the units that I did get in spite of asking for a refund, but honestly its too late to sell 5-7gh equipment.

Please let us know the ends and outs of your experience with Technobit.

Whats crazy is I believe that I asked for a refund when they were about a month late, but got no reply. The biggest issue is that he wasted alot of peoples Time & money. He said he would give people replacement hashing power ect but didn't deliver. If you must do business with Marto & Technobit
do your self a favor and use paypal otherwise if you do any other type of bare metal transaction and happen to fall on the wrong side of the Reality/Acceptable delivery time distortion field you'll
be SOL.

As a former Technobit customer, their customer service was terrible from the start. Their S-hash boards were well built, but also failed to mention that power supplies weren't included on their poorly designed website.

I really wanted to have trust in them to buy more products but the more I troved this forum, the more late, or missing miners threads kept popping up.

Needless to say, I'm not surprised in the slightest bit.

But this type of behavior seems to be the norm in the Bitcoin mining industry, unfortunately, with a small handful of exceptions. Its sad what greed does to people.

Someone jumped the gun and ordered up some PCB's and forced GB members to take on his blunder and bail him out.


   
Still i don't understand why we are forced to take the boards and chips when there are other options.
As Avalon has stated gen2 has the same footprint & pinout as the gen1 chips.
As soon as those release people will want boards.

Why not just refund the chips and hold the boards for gen2? People that want gen2
chips can hold their order until the new chips are delivered. And people that don't
want to the hold the board for themselves could wait for a new gen2 customer to
buy a board @ technobit after which refunds can be made.

This option wouldn't hurt you in funds and could actually be of benefit since you now
have boards in stock for quick assembly of gen2. Sure, there is no garantuee all boards
would be bought by new customers. But at least a good portion of this GB could get
refunded eventually.

Everybody can get their chips refunded this way. I'd rather wait several months for a
refund on the boards then having no chip refund at all. It beats having to wait three
weeks for the boards to arrive lowering the ROI even further.

Quite a few people were rightly pissed off at his do his way with their money tactics.

I belive all other Group Buyers did allow their participants to take refund and they done

Marto74 is asking for twice the compensation he asked for in the opening post.

Story will continue tomorrow but I don't have to tell people where this ends because some people are still fighting to get Marto to pay back what is owed from this group buy.

Let us start where most of this all began the Group Buy Thread. To set the tone for the selfish behavior that then led to him still owing people from that group buy. We will do this a day at a time so that we have some good insight into how Marto74 operates with others money and fails to listen to reason. This ultimately ends with a fair number of people still expecting payment from this group buy based his Marto74's promise to do so.

Other groups start process for full refund. There are groups with more then 60 days delay. With current difficulty trend any delay just killing the ROI. My suggestion is to go for refund after 2 weeks of delay there is no reason to wait more!
If on 16-th of September 06:00 EET (GMT+2) there is not @ least shipping info I'll ask everybody in the group to vote with signed message to go for refund or not. But @the present state about 6500 chip orders , become miner boards orders so for  now most of the group voted with their wallets to go for the chips.
I think that most probably the refund if any will be done with the second batch and 1-st batch will be delivered, combining users with different wishes between both batches .
But It is 2 weeks early for that

It is time for people who have been pushed around by Marto74 and Loshia to stand up be counted. There are enough complaints here to make this thread viable.

We'll stand up against Loshia, any day. One day we're going to just eat him. MMmm... Cook him up right next to the beach at St. Vlas. A nice plate of Loshia with some shopska salad and a bit of rakia, with just one icecube.. can't wait.

But we'll have to side with Marto. Bick, i don't know how far you're going to get with this one.

There are plenty of people that were burned. Evidence strewn all over the place. Be $1 be it $10,000. Doesn't matter much to me they want to keep PM'ing me and poking at the WPC and not accepting an invite to come explain their problem with us. Fine we can settle it here. I got no problem moderating threads and finding enough information to keep posting for months here. Got a long summer holiday all the time in the world for this hobby. Again they can try all the like to dig up dirt on me I wish them well. They kept pushing this is what you get.

Also this way I don't have to keep PMing the mods and reporting the spam from Loshia... this way I can just keep things on track here. 1 thread to bind them all.

Clearly there are a lot of people who have had issues with Technobit and Marto74.

This thread is for those who would like to post their complaints so that everyone in the community can see what has transpired without the needless trash and troll or deletion of other threads. This is a safe place to post your complaints and concerns.

Note we will be removing troll posts of Marto74 and others and they seem to want to spam post for no other reason than wasting their own time. So no need to react anyone their posts get removed. Let them waste their effort. He has his threads let him play there. If you have a complaint or want to add to the reasons you were screwed over by Technobit feel free to post. We want to make sure we keep the dog and pony show of Marto74 spread out over all his 7 to 10 threads he has, don't worry he will make more. When he reimburses everyone and stops cheating people then he is welcome to make the last post here and then we will lock the thread. Now that Marto74 has wasted better than half a day waiting for the next post... how about we just push the post until tomorrow. The games he is playing add up to lost time for him there are many ways to exact justice. Wasting his time is justice served given how many hours he has taken from his customers.
