Yet another chemo regimen was started which proved ineffective.  By early October, 2012 the lesions had grown and multiplied.

Zach's battle with cancer ended on the morning of Monday, May 20.

He went down fighting, but didn't lose.

Zach has exhausted all medical treatments, eh?

Then it's simple. The man needs Rick Simpson oil, and he needs it today.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGjC4HReFL0

Seventeen and dying without hope? No way, no how man.

http://hempoilhope.org/viewforum.php?f=5

You'd be serious about hemp oil too, if you'd experienced the healing
first hand.

Zach can do this legally. The OMMP is open to out-of-state residents. He
needs an Oregon doctor, and a plane ticket immediately.

There's no time to dilly dally. If you're serious, send a PM.

You must get Zach the Rick Simpson oil, the Phoenix Tears, seriously.

Can't tell if trolling, stupid, or delusional.

There is an old saying passed down through generations....

When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather did.  Not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

I remember reading decades ago about an old man who died in his rocking chair on his porch. A loved one discovered him shortly after his death--and he was still rocking.

Another story I recall is one of a person died laughing while watching Johnny Carson.

Back in the late 80's, the president of the largest drywall supply company in Nashville died during sex with his mistress in a hotel room. Oddly enough, I too had the pleasure of bedding his secretary, albeit prior to his demise.

There is an old saying passed down through generations....

When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather did.  Not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

That just terrifies me. If anyone dies driving a car that I am, I will find some way to shove them out the window and regain control. Unrealistic, but Christ that's a terrifying thought. Albeit not the first time I've heard that idiom.

And now other story I recall. Car hits viaduct killing driver and passenger. Female passenger didn't see it coming (double entendre) because her head (double entendre) was facing the opposite direction.

Sounds like she was between a rock and a hard place. Or thing.

I feel sorry for this poor guy, he should not die.

The world would be inhospitable if no one died.  It's natural.  I'm not afraid to die; I'm afraid to suffer before I die.

My mom suffered, even once wakening during an operation. My dad didn't. Was sitting up only a couple hours prior to us giving him his finale bath while awaiting the take-away-van.

I normally shed a tear(s) when encountering something like this, but viewing Zach's wonderful tenacity for life sealed my nasolacrimal ducts. One can argue it's akin to being at a Jehovah Witness funeral where everybody is joyous.

Dammit. I'm sitting here with tears rolling down my face, trying to figure out why the world has to be so cruel to those who end up being the most inspirational to us all. I guess without these tragedies, nothing would make something inspirational into something extrodinary. I hope this guy breaks a million before Christmas.

The following is what I wrote on Zach's CaringBridge site:

Hello Zach

Your story was mentioned on the Bitcoin forum of which I'm a member. Thanks to that posting, I've met you through your lovely video singing Clouds. I'm a member of CaringBridge because I had a close friend who was a Vietnam Veteran pass a couple years ago due to cancer and his wife set up an account here for him. Just coming here brings back fund memories of him. But enough about that.

The following is what's written on that thread dedicated to you: This stuff is just terrible ...I just wish bitcoin could play a bigger role with helping someone like this out ....

Before I precede any further, I want you, and anybody else reading this, to clearly understand that I'm not trying to hawk any product, for Bitcoin is not a company owned by anybody. To hopefully drive that point home, I offer up the following: http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/11/15/pay-another-way-bitcoin/

That said, I founded bitcoin100.org, a charitable-type organization with a vision that all non-profits worldwide will never have to pay a processing fee or worry about credit card chargebacks ever again when they accept Bitcoin as their donation option.

Because of you, I will now pursue childrenscancer.org, caringbridge.org, and also Amplatz Children's Hospital to hopefully have them start accepting bitcoins on their respective websites. If they do, approximately $1,300 will be their first donation from Bitcoin 100.

I look forward to hearing more songs from you. Please consider, if you haven't already, putting a CD (if they still make those) together. I would purchase at least 10 copies as soon as it comes available.

I'm 52, and my mom and dad both passed due to cancer. Their favorites songs were Loving You by Minnie Riperton and In the Arms of the Angel by Sarah McLachlan, respectively. I enjoy Lady of Dreams by Kitaro. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLmaHefFoDs

For a living, I reclaim century old barn wood in Sandwich, IL.

Feel free to contact me. I can easily be found via Google if you search for Bruno K and the word Bitcoin (or Phinnaeus Gage).

Peace, bud.

Bruno

Good work Bruno buddy! what you wrote is perfect and fits nicely with  Bitcoin100.org.  Heading over there now to check it out!:)

If you want to walk on water, get out of the boat
Well, we all have at least a computer and a lot of us have good GPU, you can use them for some medical distributed computing projects and actually do something useful.
