Just three years in prison for trying to join the ISIS barbarians, and committing perversities such as this one:

And since he is in the United Kingdom, I am sure that he will be out in less than 3 months. And after that he is likely to travel to Iraq or Syria, to join his brothers in the Islamic State.

I heard before they actually using the Internet to brainwash and recruit teenagers. Teenagers now a days who are being attracted to ISIS are said to generally be younger, with many of them wanting to go to the Middle East in order to become Islamic brides of jihadist fighting men. ISIS recruiting efforts in some countries are tearing families apart, and the government says it's doing all it can do.

hyperboria - next internet

A teenage extremist who plotted to fight for ISIS and said 'all gay people should be killed' has been jailed for more than three years.

Syed Choudhury, a student in Cardiff whose family are from Bradford, trawled the internet for terrorist material and told friends he 'would do anything' to get to Syria.

The 19-year-old started researching flights to get to the ISIS-controlled region in February last year.

Choudhury downloaded a video of a mass execution and had accessed websites called '10 reasons to join ISIS' and 'Turkey travel, Jihadist Highway', the Old Bailey heard.

The teenager was arrested on November 16 last year after being spotted by a local anti-terror officer.

When in custody, he spoke about bringing Sharia Law to the UK and said he dreamed of dying fighting for ISIS.

Choudhury pleaded guilty to preparing for acts of terrorism under section 5 of the Terrorism Act.

Can anyone explain the allure for teenagers in the west to be compelled to join ISIS in Syria? I simply cannot understand this and there’s been way too many incidents to be a coincidence.

Another kid fed up with western world. LOl. It's sad to see sucj things happening more andmore often. Western society should change something. What was the country of origin of his family?

Under the Patriot Act and the Noahide Laws, folks can be imprisoned for thought crimes.

Face the music. We have lost America. We got a nice Communist democracy racket instead. We should celebrate Aldous Huxley and his book BRAVE NEW WORLD where everyone was on happy pills, except the hero.

More like socialist barbarism, this person didn't actually do anything wrong. He was sentenced for allegedly preparing for acts of terrorism, except there were no particular acts in mind, nor any type of time line. I have absolutely no love for terrorist scum, but this is nothing more than government abuse, albeit from a corrupt lesser nation, so not much else can be expected...

I dislike when stories call these people "teenagers" to try and give the appearance they are young children making mistakes... rather than adults choosing to harm others on purpose... stop painting the picture these are young and dumb kids...he's an adult... hold him accountable like the adult he is... this is similar to when adult criminals have a family that releases a 12 year old innocent looking picture to the media, rather than the pot smoking gun toting gang sign throwing thug they were in more recent pictures... I hate the ability to sway opinion and lessen the blow by painting a gentle headline to encourage a gentle approach...

(however they did use the word extremist, so thats a start, now just get rid of the teenage part from softening the blow)
