Hi guys,

I downloaded the Telegram App so that I can join the Wanchain chat group. After joining, I don't see any way to ask a question in the group (either publicly or privately).

What am I missing?

there are telegram groups that admins can only announce their bounty project and all you can do is read their updates about the campaign you have joined, meaning your telegram account should always be open because they are everyday updates to their project but there are telegram groups that you can comment and join in their discussions but depending on the campaign you'll be joining

You need to join the public chat channel. Instead of notifying the channel. General public chat channels have managers. You can ask them questions.

As you might have said, you may have just joined a declaration group, so you can't post anything in this group, just check it out.

When you search in telegram with Wanchain keyword you find Announcement group only. Search for WanchainCHAT and there it will be. Roll Eyes

Maybe the telegram group is muted? Meaning, only the admins can post any update or announcement about their project. You can see Mute in the bottom part though.

It may be that it is only an announcement channel and not a chat group.

Yes I think this is most likely the case. They probably have set it like that on accident and might not be aware themselves.

maybe the group is just made for announcement. you should join the public chat group if you want to ask question.

You just need to open a specific user's avatar, then you can communicate with him privately. Grin
