Most logical answer is that one of the devices got compromised

My phone and laptop have not been compromised, but someone could log in to my account after sending several OTP codes though I have not shared any. But for clicking any link it might happen as Telegram didn't require any password.

That should be good enough for now, but I don't really trust telegram for anything important (SimpleX chat is a good alternative to consider)

I am also the same of your opinion and it is from when I came to know from any side messages can be deleted.

Then I logged out of other devices' settings and changed my phone number. Also, added a password as well as a two-factor authentication.

You can also go through settings and disable many options in Privacy and Security section, that should reduce chances of getting scammed.

...
I would say that because of his lending service he was probably targeted by these scammers, as they don't have to gain so much by hacking some random account compared to the one that someone is doing business with.
...

Yes, that would probably make him a target.

Should probably make a post on every topic that you are having about funds that you TG account was hacked. Even if you have it back you don't know what other data they might have gotten.

Sorry about that. I am just wondering how your account got compromised?
Most logical answer is that one of the devices got compromised, but yeah it would be good to hear if he managed to figure out how he got hacked in the first place.

It's very important you regain control of your account as soon as possible because the hacker may actually know about your lending service via PMs and start targetting your unsuspecting clients.

I have received three messages like the mentioned image

And finally, I received a message like this

Then I logged out of other devices' settings and changed my phone number. Also, added a password as well as a two-factor authentication.

It is not me just pretending me someone to scam. That's why everyone should cross-check the username and no financial transaction should made over the discussion on telegram.

It's sad bro, but you should update urgently your profile, especially the Personal Text below your avatar because you're still explicitly asking people to contact you through your Telegram account "t.me/shasan32".
Changed the title to "Fast contact but no transaction".[/list]

Just to make 1 thing clear, his account is/was compromised but he still has/had access to it since I spoke to him on telegram 9 hours ago, and it was him.  Cool
He did the usual things, ending all active sessions on all devises through the software and then tried to reset the password, but somehow this seems a hassle and not really easy to find.
I also advised him to use a 2 step verification and I think he did that already as well.

Hopefully it's all good now!

Can't you recover it using your telephone number and erase all other logged in devices?

A quick search shows there are two public profiles. I am not sure if all belong to you

I think my telegram account has been hacked. Though I do not tell to send dollar to any wallet yet scammer may ask to send. Please no one send any payment on telegram. If anyone make any transaction via telegram I will not take liability for that.
You should also write this in your lending thread, and even mark it in red as an important message. I think that it is more important to publish there than here so that your customers are informed.

As @dkbit98 said, if you haven't enabled Two-Step Verification, do so now. Just go to >Settings, then > Privacy & Security, and you will find this option. In addition to 2FA and Active sessions, you can click on Connected Websites and disconnect any websites linked to your account.
Here he can only create a password, but if his Telegram is hacked, the device he uses is probably also compromised, which means that activating the password now will not be a guarantee that he has protected the account

Some people could be scammed by the hacker if they don't read this thread or could think your Bitcointalk account has been compromised too, or they could think you're trying to make a scam yourself. Not everybody checks this section before doing transactions unfortunately.

It seems that your Telegram account was active an hour ago. Were you able to recover it?

How was your Telegram account hacked? Did someone manage to access your email or phone number? Or did you link your account to a suspicious website?

Was your telegram account username @shasan32 ?
It would be wise to remove it from your bitcointalk profile, at least until you recover it or change it to something else.
If you used this account on different device than yopu can log out all other devices and change password from there.
I would also suggest adding 2fa protection and one time local password after this.
