I do think that the success of Notcoin and HC brings alot of possibilities for the Telegram ecosystem  - and I do believe the Telegram games to be on the hype wave for a while, but it's not that big of a deal, as it's just more convinient way for people to do social tasks, game activities, etc. all in their main-to-go messenger. There wasn't a single project for me that would make such a game that would engage me to come back for it just for the sake of playing it, not because it may bring me some tokens in the future of some other reason. The only game I can think about is Backwoods, but it's just a clone of Brotato, so I wouldn't count it as a fresh idea.

Currently, we only have two types of games on Telegram sliding and tapping these are the first games that I mostly see on Telegram after joining some TG groups I found another game that looks like tower defense.
So it has the potential for the gaming industry since it developing and the good thing is you can use Telegram wallet directly to connect to the game.
I'm not familiar with the sliding one but thanks for letting me know. BTW, is this new? It was the tap games are the ones that are popular now. Before it, there is also a telegram casino but this still involves tapping or touching the screen.

It was still better IMO because we can play different games here and then we can earn an easy money, in case we got lucky. I like tower defense games but I find it boring or tricky to play in the long run. This was still basic compared to other games, so I won't say that it can be a game-changer. We are talkin about Web3 here, so it's not surprising if we can use a Telegram wallet directly to connect to the game or to be able to get started.

Tomatoes, Blum are sliding games.. you can check them out..

if the sustenance of the game depends on the airdrop, then it's fated to be doomed since eventually people will abandon it once there's no incentive to play the game.

lets be real here, these telegram games are just chore, if not for the future airdrop most of people won't even bother, so it's not entirely future of web3 gaming.

what I expect from web3 gaming is bunch of AAA games integrating NFT into their micro transactions or something like that, even better if there's transferrable game item but the game itself should have quality and at least as good as the AAA game so the people don't stay playing the game because incentive but because the game is purely fun and entertainment. these telegram mini game isn't that.

Do you think Telegram games have the potential to revolutionize the gaming industry?

Of course, yes. If they make it work that is. Telegram and the TON blockchain is currently the prefect tool to onboard millions of users to crypto. The fact that I have seen millennials and even elderly people get onboarded to TON through telegram and it was so seamless that they didn't first need to know what private keys or things like fees are before interacting with crypto. All they needed was their phone number to create a telegram account.

We can only get mass adoption when more and more part of blockchain/crypto ux is abstracted away.

This is the most trendy thing lately, Telegram bots with tasks to complete for their Airdrop, all people are going crazy after the success of NOT offering good quantities to the players and managed to exchange them. Personally, I have got a share in that projet; Notcoin.

Going back to your main question, Telegrams games are not that developed to be considered real games and competitive, they are just bots with small tasks and investing your time, money to upgrade your own profile for either better shares in airdrop or mining their token or staking it.

This popularity will likely make the TON ecosystem go bonkers. I'm definitely keeping up with this. the platform I mostly interact with, Bitget, is keeping up too, introducing coins like DOGS, Hamster, and BOOM to either pre-market or spot. Let's see how the ecosystem evolves in a few months."

It's exciting to see the potential of Telegram games, especially with titles like Not and Hamster Combat gaining traction in the crypto space and attracting new players. The TON ecosystem is rich with games, and I recently discovered Boom Up, which offers a unique mix of art, socializing, and gameplay. By integrating Web2 and Web3 technologies, Boom Up aims to create a sustainable and engaging experience.

This is not actually new. In the past, there were Telegram games, but it's just now that they are getting traction or attention. The success of Notcoin and how easy it is for the top exchange to list make it easy for these tapping mining to get the attention of the community. Tapping mining and Ton blockchain make it easy for this new concept to get the hype it's getting now.

It's fascinating to observe how Telegram games are bridging the gap between traditional and blockchain gaming. What are your thoughts on this emerging trend? Do you think Telegram games have the potential to revolutionize the gaming industry?
I have seen many Telegram-based games, and if a couple of these prove to be successful in the market, then we will have more coming that could become the new trend in the Crypto industry. There might be a shift of demand from memes to Telegram-based games, which, for me, is better because there is a platform that gamers will find useful.

I think we're witnessing that shift. Dogs got over 2.3m users in few days. We've got hamster dominating, tomato, Blum etc. what's your thoughts about boom I mentioned? Played the game?

The game on Telegram is (mini) maybe now the TON ecosystem will continue to grow because of the success of notcoin which was never expected before but now there are many games on Telegram which in my opinion are less interesting, they only come here because the hype continues to grow with several new projects from the TON ecosystem that keep coming.

Revolutionizing the game as a whole in my opinion is not, because this is only based on ordinary games such as puzzles, while we see how projects outside Telegram they develop more revolutionary games.

Nothing special from Telegram games. It's all full with mini games, and you were also lowering the standard of Web 3 gaming. I was expecting Web 3 gaming of crypto to be even better than MMORPG (BigTime) or FPS (NyanHeroes). This is a setback for the crypto industry.
Telegram is just getting flooded with so many mini games that have no value. The only advantage of a Telegram minigame is if it's easy to access on your handheld. But, it's clear that Web 3 has already downgraded a lot if you called Tap Tap minigames the future of Web 3 gaming.

About BoomUp, this telegram minigame is nothing special. But, the good thing is that it's getting listed on the Bitget Launchpad. That's it.

It's fascinating to observe how Telegram games are bridging the gap between traditional and blockchain gaming. What are your thoughts on this emerging trend? Do you think Telegram games have the potential to revolutionize the gaming industry?
This minigames trend on Telegram reminds me of the meme token trend. The situations are the same. People were getting FOMO to earn a few bucks by playing mini games for several month. Telegram mini games have no potential to revolutionize the industry.
This is a short term hype, and the hype about Telegram mini games will be vanished later.

I don't see that happening. Every out layer of games has its unique features which interests the players based on their conveniences.
Although due to crypto casino incepted the online games, it has become more attractive that related casino games is a real revolutionary to emerge dominance in the gaming World.

Fascinating? maybe but no for me.
There have been casinos that are built on Telegram for their apps but they don't get traction.

What are your thoughts on this emerging trend?
The hype is real but soon it will be gone.

Do you think Telegram games have the potential to revolutionize the gaming industry?
Not at all. People look for something different and this is going to require every gamer to get into telegram first instead of going through the actual game app.

What are your thoughts on this emerging trend?

We have discussed this a lot on this board, and my answer is still the same that this trend has 2 output impacts, it could be positive and it could be negative. The positive is about how & how many adopters are entering the industry, with this crypto will become increasingly known in wider circles. The negative is that they come with no knowledge, maybe they will become victims of a scam or something like this hype trend, and when it becomes a scam then they will think that crypto is dangerous & just a waste of their time (forever).

Do you think Telegram games have the potential to revolutionize the gaming industry?

Yes, of course, this trend is taking us in a new direction of gaming (with the aim of earning money) Roll Eyes.
