I think this is the project in which you must go. All the projects of Pavel Durov were very successful and this is no exception. Tokens of the telegraph will then cost you mad money as it creates its own ecosystem, a separate world so to speak.
For me it is absurd for an ICO to have a valuation of 1.6 billion for the simple fact of being launched by a company as average as Telegram. It is true that this application is well known among people involved in the field of cryptocurrencies, but in real life there are dozens of applications much more useful and popular than Telegram. If a company as average as Telegram can aspire to obtain so much capital through an ICO, I can not imagine what would happen the day that Apple, McDonalds or Samsung launch their own ICO.
This is sick,ICOs should be in public not in a secret,that is manipulation in the market because only those big palyers will be able to get those tokens, i am not supporting this project because it is clearly biased,only those rich guys will benefit with this ICO and those small fishes like use wont have any tokens from it,what a shame.

With potential ICOs like Telegram, the chances of you investing in it are meager, as they will require a significant amount of Token to accept the sale. This is my first time to see an ICO that can make a billions of money. I bet this ICO will have a larger platform and will have a good community since telegram is known to a country that has many investors. I want to subscribe about this since it's very interesting for me, i wanted to know if where will it go.
I wouldn't jump to any conclusions yet with TON, probably best to follow the news and see where it leads us. But I do agree with some of the responses regarding ICOs being more like a conventional angel investment. Some of these private sale events are offering huge discounts and bonuses, that by the time it reaches ICO phases it's already over-valuated and that the coin market price could fall below ICO price.
It seems that they have raised a lot of money so far, but there is no private people to participate in telegram's ICO crowdfunding, so I think telegram's ICO crowdfunding is only for institutional investors.

This madness has to stop. We wanted to take back power from the rich and powerful, this just disappoints. Not just TON, but all the pre-pre-sales going around right now.
Probably going to be the biggest whale of a pump and dump.
I think telegram ICO is brilliant and they'v chosen only the top cream who will benefit them directly through investments, all others have been locked out. that's what id don't understand, why would they show such obvious favoritism. whit such a heavy investment cut mark, they wouldn't even need crowd sale.

If it is only for millionaires it means we have to stay out of it because it is a centralize coin. It doesn't mean that it is created by telegram it means it is a good coin. I do not know for what purpose it is necessary to collect such huge money. I very much doubt that this project will be successful for investors who buy tokens on the exchange. I will stay away from this project. But with interest I will observe the developments from the outside.

There is no project which is for sure successful. And based on crypto history, large ICOs barely perform well, especially in the starting stage. I will give Telegram ICO a pass for now and may only look at it once it drops to a "reasonal" price.
It really will be the biggest and most successful ICO! It will be interesting to observe the development of this project. And we just have to wait for the coin to exit to the stock exchanges and have time to buy before the price soars!

That's obviously true, more than 1 billion just to host a new generation of cryptocurrencies and decentralized exchange site. While at the same time another projects were trying to do the same thing but they are only need a little amount of money. in this ico i say that telegram was selling its name rather than a good business plan in the future.

$1.6B is crazy. It's truly gonna be one of the biggest ICOs in history and will be interesting to see how things unfold.
This will probably be the biggest ICO ever, as the company that launched it was already a global success, meaning they have easily had the largest reach of any ICO yet.
However I do not believe that investors will multiply their money, simply because Telegram is already over $1B in market cap, very few coins get much further than $1B particularly ones that offer little to no improvement over currency altcoins.
