Indeed, very many platforms today are eager to develop digital currencies. I think, this is inseparable from the success of Bitcoin in the digital world. Facebok, Telegram, and Signal have very many users. This makes it very easy for them to make the coin rise. Especially now that Facebook has developed an ads platform. This is a new thing for Facebook.

I am not really against them using blockchain technology because that is the age we are moving to now and I think this phase of blockchain will surely make things lots easier for many companies that are not even within the scope of messaging companies, but the issue I usually have is that why do they have to create several cryptocurrencies, and in this world, we have over 11 million companies.

If many of them decide to enter the market today and they each create their own coin, which means we will be having like 1 million coins in the market, then how do you get to choose which one to invest in? Because researching on projects is not easy, and for you to start picking them one after the other. I really thing they have to work together and should have partnered with a coin, maybe Ethereum.

Its not that surprising though since there are a lot of social media companies building their own crypto project also. Specially that the numbers of using telegram as a means for crypto usage only make telegram to act and build their own too and why not since they have the means and budget to do it but in this very competitive market they got to show off more.

It is very trendy to launch a coin nowadays. It is a good thing for crypto awareness and mass adoption of blockchain technology but we have to wait and see what other benefits it will bring to the crypto space if any.

Whether this is valid news or not but recently i had read the article that telegram crypto project called Gram with aiming 300 millions users around the world and their projects has been started since 2018 with ICO coin but i could not any progress related their projects but targeting 300 millions users are quite hard to do so especially telegram users are less if we compare than other apps such as whatapps or facebook

And the source of this news? Is it a verified source or another scam promoting site because I once remembered vividly that I participated in this same Telegram some years back which I invest with over a thousand five hundred usd and they ended up closing their website and deleting their Facebook page though few people claim that the project was not from telegram.

But, I doubt if it was refuted by the telegram group themselves and same as Facebook too, if both of them can come up with a genuine ICO, it will really be a nice one and one that will give investors peace of mind about their investment and until I see the project full and investigate. It’s a rumor.

There are issues that the TON project is a scam-like one. And personally, I would agree. I remember the time when the ICO is still ongoing, the sold numbers grew up so fast than any other ICO I have witnessed since I entered here. And if you'll read news, this one is just out of the limelight.

Yes I heard about this one too making it more centralized as ever. It's like selling pancakes but those who bought it all are your friends, which is not good for something like crypto.

It is good for the crypto community as it raises awareness regarding cryptocurrency (even though it is centralized one). It will be good as well as consumers if we'll be able to send money thru messaging app then encash them on our traditional ATMs or use in real world as payment system.

Yes, I don't see any need in investing in the coin since it was only sold to private investors.

I don't know the purpose for the creation of their coin but I don't think it was created for the crypto community because if it where to be created for the crypto community.

I think there would be an official announcement from telegram about the coin and what it's about but that hasn't obviously been done. Let's just wait and see what the future holds for the telegram users, they might change their mind and run an STO.

I personally think the coin will make wave because it promises to user friendly and this would really encourage new investors and they have also planned removing the idea of users always monitoring their trade since their platform will do this behalf of it customers. And the idea of having a 24/7 customer service is really a good innovative because because customers always want an active customer support in case of complains and with their promises of attending to all complains effectively via telegram/emails is really super cool.

I am aware the coin allows immediate withdrawal and the fees needed to start up isn’t so much, so its possible many will be willing to invest with this coin and it would turn out to be a profitable investment. I should consider too.

Basically it was telegram which was developing a blockchain based decentralized messenger and now facebook seems to be riding the blockchain wave as well and i think these are really good signs for the future of the blockchain technology so that is why i think crypto community needs to be happy about all these events.

I don't think all this platform are ready to create a cryptocurrency but just a digital currency that would only be used for running ads on their platforms or maybe to grant access to some features on the platform.

After all, I believe that telegram might implement blockchain technology into it's system because they have always been a fan of crypto, telegram actually used the idea of anonymity in crypto to build it's platform and they always give away Btc and ETH anytime there is a down time in their platform.

It can be manipulated but seems no one didn't go through deep digging about those numbers.

Adoption is getting stronger but the ugly part of it is that there are more useless projects coming thinking of becoming rich overnight with their ideas.

It seems like they have been creating such coin just because they see bitcoin at a growing stage.
I would not invest money or time and effort with this or it will just be a waste.

A project created from envy will just go down or will not even get up.
Let us support bitcoin directly so that this new creators of coins will see that we are just supporting bitcoin and not them.
You could already see the purpose of it from far away.

We have to keep in mind that all of this companies announced they will create their own digital coins, not cryptocurrencies so there is no reason to talk about this here. If they are going to create coins that run on their own blockchain ,just like JP Coin then this would not affect cryptocurrency market a lot since they are totally different.
