See who has reported on this incident. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syrian_Observatory_for_Human_Rights

According to Wikipedia, the SOHR is being run by a single person (Osama Suleiman) from an apartment in Coventry, United Kingdom. He has no reporters in Syria, and on the other hand relies on social media sites such as Twitter and FaceBook. For sure, this SOHR must be more reliable than Russia Today and Almasdar News, which are having reporters in Syria.

Can't blame the regime forces. The rebels have admitted that they are being forced to use child soldiers, due to an acute shortage of manpower. Now the regime forces can't spare these kids just because they happen to be under-age. If they do so, then these same kids will cut their heads off and send them in a parcel to Latakia.

Scores killed and wounded by heavy rocket fire and air strikes targeting a besieged Syrian rebel stronghold east of Damascus that also hit a school

At least 45 civilians have been killed during heavy bombardment of a besieged Syrian rebel stronghold east of Damascus that also struck a school.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group said rockets fired by regime forces landed on the towns of Douma, Harasta, Saqba and Arbin in the opposition-held Eastern Ghouta region.

Observatory head Rami Abdel Rahman said air strikes also hit the towns, but it was unclear whether they were carried out by Syrian or Russian warplanes.

At least 10 children and four women were among the dead and dozens of people were wounded, he said.

“One of the air strikes on Douma hit near a school, killing the school’s principal,” Abdel Rahman said.

Men carried children across the dust-covered rubble of destroyed buildings in Douma, whose streets were littered with debris and shards of glass, according to a photographer on the scene.

A small girl’s body lay on an operating table in a field hospital, as doctors prepared to operate on her badly-wounded leg.

An activist group in Douma shared photographs on Facebook of crumbling buildings and bloodied children lying in a makeshift clinic.

In one jarring photo, children’s shoes, notebooks, and bags are strewn across the blood-stained floor of what the group said was a schoolyard in Douma.

Abdel Rahman said one rebel fighter was also killed in the bombardment on Sunday.

Government forces regularly bombard Eastern Ghouta, and rebels there fire rockets and mortar shells into the capital.

"War... War never changes"

War is always made by big interests.
The thing is all wars are started by big lords sitting on chairs feasting far away from all the death. And who is the one who pays? the innocents... the one who didn't asked for war.
war never changes...

Its not so much terrorists blending in with civilians, its that the terrorists are actually civilians!

Whatever but people who are getting killed are innocents while the terrorists and terrorist regime are fighting for power everytime innocents are being targeted let it be for ransom or prisoner exchange.

Careful not to confuse the symptoms with the cause, it's strange how religious zealotry seems centred around natural resources and economic sovereignty.

It's very sad. ISIS uses children as soldiers and finally they get killed. ISIS is a disgrace

The Rebels (jihadists) use children to execute and torture Syrian government troops/shia and kurd militias. The children may be child soldiers or suicide bombers in training. Take them out if they live in peace with jihadists.

These Radical Muslims want war. There is a price to pay and that is civilians get killed. They don't care that their own people are killed.....they are going to heaven for killing. 45 million civilians were killed in WWII so that a radical extremist would not take over the world.
