We've got a number of top seeded players playing against up and coming prospects in Wimbledon today, I think the underdogs will be able to steal one or two sets from these matchups, both Ugo Humber and Ben Shelton have got big serves, and if they can get a break in any set they really could snatch one. Jasmine Paolini in my opinion seem to be highly underrated here, although WTA is a tricky one since it's just a best of 3 set, perhaps I should have gone for Paolini to cover games handicap instead of the set, but I still think she could get one set off Keys, or even win the match.

The consistent rain the across several court was a major yesterday that had a lot matches suspended and eventually abandoned to be played later today, and it's as though the rain would be of some problem to as well too, since it's started already.

I've got my 3 legs multi as usual, but for this ones the only motivation is the odds and nothing more, no insight, no research, basically just pure odds grabbing for me.

Now it is what it is and I enjoy watching tennis anyway, perhaps with the links you provided! Thank you Smiley

Glad to be help mate....

-----------------------

After my slip got ruined yesterday, I went with same approach today with another 3 legs ACCA for 2.10 Odds and looks like a winner already for me.

I'll probably catching up with the event's evening sessions later, I'm currently glued to the Euro 2024 match between the Netherlands and Romania.

I think 2.88 for Sinner is too low. That's almost as if he is close to guaranteed being the winner. Sinner and Alcaraz would meet in the semis, which makes it exceedingly

Even at Masters 1000 level, betting on outright are often not worth it because of how physically demanding Tennis can be, I prefer to take my best favor maybe on Handicap winnings for a few rounds, I'm sure I'd would have gotten a better return cumulatively compared to chasing an outright for 2.88 in grand slam.

Alcaraz vs Sinner is always a joyful matchup to watch, from the beginning to the end on any given day, too bad they're 1st and 3rd seeds respectively, I would have loved to have them in Final rather than in the semifinals, however it's still quite a very long way to go for both players and upsets are often order of the day when it comes to tennis.

Yes that would have been a superior course of action for the tournament in Wimbledon. Sure Djokovic is still a great player and it's a joy to watch him play when he is at his best and especially when is facing Sinner or Alcaraz at their best in the final. But in this case I agree with you. If Djokovic wants to be taken as seriously as in 2023 when he won the Australian Open, French Open, US Open and played the Wimbledon final besides winning the ATP finals, he needs to have some kind of comeback. But talking about a comeback when the discussion revolves around a 37 years old player could be close to being pointless. Never say never, but I think the biggest highlight we could have been looking forward to would be if Sinner was 1st seed and Alcaraz 4th seed.

Now it is what it is and I enjoy watching tennis anyway, perhaps with the links you provided! Thank you Smiley

This thread is set up well! Good source to stay up to date, I like that. Let me add this overview showing the odds for the players to win Wimbledon. This could spur a great discussion.

I think 2.88 for Sinner is too low. That's almost as if he is close to guaranteed being the winner. Sinner and Alcaraz would meet in the semis, which makes it exceedingly risky to bet on one of them here I think. Djokovic's worst case would be Zverev.

What do you think?

One of the biggest and most anticipated Tennis event has gotten underway, that is, the Wimbledon, Grand slam, which was last won by Carlos Alcaraz, we've seen a lot swing in between that time there Alcaraz will be defending his title as the World No. 3, while Jannik Sinner is coming in as the top seed, with Novak Djokovic as the 2nd seed, he was able to recover in time from the injury that kept him out for a few weeks.

It's just the first round that will be going on today and it should be interesting as some underdogs and mid-ranked players battle it out first...

Here is my small lie ACCA on the 3 matches for ~2+ Odds.

Here is my 3rd consecutive multi-legs winning for the week, to be honest Tennis have never at point of my interest in the sport felt this easy winning a bet especially one with multi-legs over more than 3 Odds each, and one with a whopping 17 Odds. Such a week it's been for me!

I chose not to err on the side of caution today, I have all the Stuttgart, Germany and Netherlands Quarter final matches first sets to end Under 12.5 games, coupled with a few WTA as well, I got a total of 13 Odds, it's like going to be my last stop in tennis for while since the Euro is already upon, but I could be active for Wimbledon, though.

For some of the matches to consider watching;

I'd suggest Korda vs Tommy Paul and De Minaur vs Raonic should also be thrilling affair.

It's been a tough luck for lately with Tennis to be honest, I totally understand why it's regarded as the devil's sport for bettors in my locality, anyways I'm taking a 3-leg Under 12.5 games in the sets of some matches and it's a total of 3 Odds.

The Odds is often enticing, I guess that's why I never hit them  Grin

\EDIT\

Finally after taking forever, I got one! Maybe all I just had to do was to complain about my luck with this option, I guess I'll go again tomorrow for the Stuttgart and Netherlands quarter finals.

Alcaraz was the Roland Garros ATP champion, the very first he'd be winning the French Open Grand Slam! Congratulations, but his victory was only just enough to see go up by spot in the new ATP Rankings with Jannik Sinner as the current World No. 1 tennis players, as Novak Djokovic would finally give up the No. 1 spot and drop down the pecking order to become the current No. 3.

----------------

We've got 2 main tour that worth catch for this week, the clay season is finally over and both of these tournament would be on grass so you might want to watch out for the odds as there will some changes in the result due to some players being actually better on grass surface compared to clay, one of the tour is being hosted in Germany were Zverev should be participating and the other in the Netherlands, there a lot of top 10/20 also in the mix here as well.

The major thing that caught my attention for new the surface is how the bookies have adjusted the odds drastically, and it is now in favor of a lot of games going to tie break, there are a lot of fixtures having as much as 1.40 - 1.70 Odds, for the 1st set to end with less than 13 games, that is no tie breaks, I guess we should be seeing a lot of tie breaks in these events, except the bookies are wrong of course.

I'm trying a little of parlay with a little on the line for the first match day;

1. My first one is a 11 game ACCA for ~38 Odds

2. While the second one is a bit cautious one with just 5 selections but also with a total of 7+ Odds.

This is an option I'll be taking a really close look over the course of both these tournament and the grass season in general.

I'm taking the favorites in the other bracket of the Quarter Finals, that's Elena Rybakina and Sabalenka for a 2-legs multi @ 1.52 Odds, I strongly think the pair are going to complete the final semifinalist puzzle alongside Swiatek and Gauff.

I literally would have been straight up good for the week If I had went with the Underdogs for the second bracket of the women's QF, both Rybakina and Sabalenka were knocked out of the tournament.

----------------------

For the Semi final today, I'm backing the underdog in Coco Gauff, she's up against an uphill task to be honest, because Iga Swiatek is in a league and form of own, and none of her other female counterparts seem to be any close to her level right now, if you ask me. She's currently on 17 consecutive winning streak and she has only dropped 3 sets over the span of those 17 games, she didn't drop any set to claim her last title in Rome, just before the French Open, and have only dropped a set so far here too. However, if there is anyone close to stopping here right now, I believe that should the physical Coco Gauff, but she'd be needing both having a good day in the office, and Swiatek having the exact opposite simultaneously, because just one isn't going to cut it imo.

Zverev won yesterday after all, I won't bet against Zverev again, it already cost me 1.5 mBTC because I bet against him in the last two games, the last one against Griekspoor was even closer than against Rune yesterday.

Zverev is a such a tough guy to bet against on a good day even against players in their prime like Djokovic, Alcaraz and or the in vogue Jannik Sinner, Zverev is a great server and unlike Medvedvev he's got a good rally game too, that makes him competitive all surfaces including clays where the ball kinda slows down and he big swings can come into play to make significant difference for him.

-------------------------

We've got some continuous French Open matches today, but I'm leaning towards the WTA side of the event, Swiatek had yet another impressive win to continue her incredible while Coco Gauff overcame a first set setback to get past Ons Jabeur. Today, I'm taking the favorites in the other bracket of the Quarter Finals, that's Elena Rybakina and Sabalenka for a 2-legs multi @ 1.52 Odds, I strongly think the pair are going to complete the final semifinalist puzzle alongside Swiatek and Gauff.

But I see Zverev's experience, Rune got a bit nervous about how he could have won the match and then made a few rash mistakes at the net that he hadn't made in the first three sets.

Zverev then won the two decisive tie-breaks with aplomb. Congratulation

Backing Medvedev on clay might a decision I'll end up regretting but it's a live bet and Medvedev has a 1 set lead against Alex De Minaur, and although De Minaur has a break advantage in the second set, but a 1.88 Odd on Medvedev is what I couldn't resist to be honest.

EDIT: Medvedev losing 2 consecutive sets, 6-2, 6-1. what an arrant piece of garbage on clay  Embarrassed Embarrassed

Here are some of the fixtures for today's matches, both the world No. 2 and No. 3 Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are in action today, and these always great guys to follow;

*Andrey Rublev the 6th seed for the tournament, have been as usual eliminated by an unseeded player, in 3 straight sets.

---------------------------------

Here is part of my currently on going 7 legs ACCA for today, for those that might want to tail a pick or two.

Just as the thread title suggest, with the end of regular top football leagues, Tennis is usually one of my favorite go to sport aside esports (CS;GO and Dota 2), The latter already has a dedicated thread, however I couldn't find an up to date thread for Tennis.

Tennis even during the regular football and other sporting events does have a significant and I think does deserve a dedicated thread as such.

Below are few good websites to follow both ATP and WTA tours schedules, rankings, highlights and live streams.

1. For Schedules, tournament brackets and ranking tennis explorer is a very to navigate.

2. For quality, up to date highlights and a bit of history too, Tennis TV Youtube channel have been the best for me, it has a bit of everything.

3. For live match streams, Tennis TV is also the best, but is a paid premium version, however there are a few free streaming platforms, but are often plagued with Ads of varying degrees  Grin
 - i. https://www.tennistv.com (Paid)
 - ii. https://www.thestreameast.to Best free one with less ads, but only accessible to users in USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Brazil, France, Mexico, hence you might need a VPN to access the website.
 - iii. https://jokerguide.com JokerGuide does offer tips, free streaming and premium version too, but the free version is literally plagued with ads and pop-ups.

I'll add and update this OP with other useful links as often as I remember or come across..
