Sapphire is just a name for the product line, not a "2nd gen".  According to their own posts...Sapphire is the name for every board outside of the very first units shipped.

Recently they changed the LED from green to amber.  Nothing else has been modified.

I think they also change the pcb board to Blue at the 2nd gen.

Not sure, they have a very crappy site without much details.  Huh

Its the Sapphire Edition. Its the newest model.

They are rumors that they are developing a new one which should be around 3x more at 900+Mhps. Not sure.

One small issue... You are running the GPU too. It's only an nVidia card that does 1Mh/s, but it does taint your results slightly. I think your avarage should be about 1Mh/s lower Wink

About the miscalculation Mh/s drop, I think it's because of the architecture of any processor. If something goes wrong, the pipelines are dropped and refilled.
Since SHA256 hashing is a fairly long set of instructions, the pipeline is also long and you lose a relatively large amount of work.

It's kinda hard to explain. I think it's best to take a look at Steve Jobs' video on "the Mhz Myth". It explains the drawbacks of long pipelines perfectly, and why that lowers speed temporarily whenever a miscalculation (or a branch) happens.

The GPU was disable, before I began the test. But should of have reset it. But Forgot. Never the less, I only provide the ASIC Results.  Wink

0:10Min.  --  336.8 Mhps at for the fist 10mins was solid.
0:30Min.  --  281.5 Mhps at 30min mark. (But only stayed their for 45sec.) Then Jump to 325.8 Mhps and climb.
0:40Min.  --  335.9 Mhps
0:50Min.  --  337.3 Mhps
1:00Hour --  336.7 Mhps

Average Speed
336.6 Mhps.

For some reason BitMinter website doesn't accurately show the results or at least the results that the Client shows.

Noticeable Issue
What I notice is that every time it did a miscalculation the Mhps drop down to the 200's Mhps or lower for around 5sec. then it climb back up after words.
