In recent days something happened to my Chrome browser on Android - text size on reply field become such small that I have zoom in to be able to read. Few days ago everything was fine and text size was normal. Did anyone faced similar issue and how to fix it?

This is very common if you're the type that uses a mobile phone to log in to the forum, in most cases you have to zoom out to be able to see the text characters, those uses to the computer or desktop version may not have this kind of stuff experience but am very sure that the smart phone user's were already used to zooming in and out while making a reply on the forum comment section, I don't think it's a new development or change that was just implemented.

Can you try switching browsers as a quick solution? It has always been that small for me when using Brave/Chrome, on the other hand the adjusting of everything is far better when using Firefox.

From your screenshot, I see that text size is normal from topic title to text you are typing. Do I miss something with your text sizes?
Yeah, text size in my reply field is same like in topic title, but it used to be bigger and I haven't changed anything in settings.

Thanks for your suggestions and inputs, guys. I looked at accesibility settings and I see that text size is at 100%, so, it's not related with my browser settings. Now I tried to check how it looks on Firefox and it's same little text..
So, I guess that I will have to zoom in a bit more. Reset settings is an option, but don't really want to do that, as all my logins and preferences will be gone.

There seems to be nothing wrong from the screenshot you shared. I just did a text run (pun intended) on my mobile browser and got the exact same text size.

how to fix it?
If you're worried about it then go to settings > Accessibility > Text scaling and then adjust it to your preference.

I added screenshot to OP to show how text looks like. As I said, everything was fine, text size was big enough to read it easy. And I haven't changed any settings, so, no idea why it's changed. Now tried to find how to change it in settings, but didn't found.
That's how it looks like to me too
I just checked on mobile: typing the same text makes it slightly wider than the smileys above it (so more than double LTU_btc's font size).

You can Change text & display settings with guide from Google for Android device.

You change Font Size, Display Size and if it does not work, let's try to use Reset Settings. I hope Reset Settings will help to return everything back to normal.

The SMF we are using in the forum is not designed for responsive for mobile applications, even if you use different browsers the output is still the same, for the smaller screens the textbox will resize fit on the screen but not as accurately as it is, your only option is to pinch to zoom in the text box.

Many users propose too having a mobile application like Insanerman's Layout

That's how it looks like to me too, and it always needs me to zoon in/out when replying or reading replies.
Have you tried to check the "Accessibility"? All of the settings there is all about browser's font, zoom in/out, text scaling, etc.

I experienced this long ago but it changed now and maybe it's because of the browser that when you view something it depends on your device but if you still experience the same problem then why not try to change the text size on the settings?. Text size settings is available on chrome and all you have to do is go to settings and tap on accessibility then you will see the text size scale but you still have to zoom the page a little bit but I think it's fine. If not found in settings then accessibility then try updating the app then go to settings and accessibility again.

I had the same case a long time ago the text size was changed I tried to change any font settings on the Chrome browser but the result is the same.
I also changed my phone settings about fonts but only phone UI fonts were changed.
It seems that we can't change the font size while editing a post maybe forum fonts are fixed?

Edit:
It seems the Zoom works to me under 3 dots it changes text size but it is still pretty small it is likely the same as Zoom through your two fingers.

In that case you should try to clear up browsing data like Cookies, Site data, and browsing history if needed. I'm sure that by  clearing those Cookies and other site related data your browser's previous setting will be restored. If that doesn't work then you should go to App info and click on clear the cache, and then click on clear all data. That will most probably solve your problem and the previous setting will be restored.

Isn't this normal for smartphone users? The zooming in and out just to read using mobile browsers although there is always browser settings for the font size to change dynamically.

I think you should try to increase text and font size on your Android device and that might solve the problem for you. Because when I was using Android based smartphone I used to do that thing and most of the times it would work on applications and web browsers. You may also check if your browser has built-in text settings and change the text-size in those settings as well so you might be able to read the reply without any issue.

Although, I don't use the website on an Android based device, but I also have to zoom in to read the posts on my PC because of the small text. I think this thing might be related to our display's resolution and is not an issue from website. I'm also using Chrome browser but the PC version. I have to zoom the site up-to 200% to write replies. But, on PC it's still manageable and doesn't require much effort to zoom up-to 200% or more in order to write a reply.
