The advantage Tezos might have over Ethereum is that Tezos is PoS from the start. Ethereum has yet to switch to PoS. Other than that, both have smart contract capabilities, with huge user base on the side of Ethereum. I don't see how Tezos can challenge that.
P.S.

Self-amending blockchain feature means they don't need hard forks to correct or amend their protocol.

With what you been able to explain to us, I think Ethereum still stands a better chance to remain top of Tezos with its high user base. Tezos will not constitute a threat to Ethereum for now until there is a change of position of things.

Hi Community,

I am looking tezos project and there is one positive news on its development as well (Expected to launch in Q3).
Can Tezos become a threat to Ethereum dominance? with its Self-amending blockchain feature?
I have already heard a that Tezos has huge potential and after its release it may compete even  with Ethereum platform.
I am really looking forward to it being launched

i think you have enough knowledge on tezos,,
but, if i'm not wrong there is a lot of issue with tezos, and the delayed for long time

Can Tezos become a threat to Ethereum dominance?
That is not possible to happen but if we looking into it Ethereum is still the number one in providing smart contracts if Tezos can beat the smart contract features of Ethereum , Tezos will dominate Ethereum.
with its Self-amending blockchain feature?
Thats a great feature that Tezos want to implement but I dont think if Tezos dont need improvement (hard fork)in their future works.
