Yes, this could be one reason, despite so many hate coming from this community to Ripple, they remain relevant on the third spot because they really find a good industry wherein they can exploit their crypto.

And it's a good move, although bitcoin is also touted as cross-border payments, due to it's confirmation time, it seems that it will not be the likely candidate for it. And then comes Ripple to save the day, lol, again there are some benefits from using Ripple specially if you want to send someone money for emergency cross border and take less time to reach them than banks or bitcoin itself.

Live with peace and enjoy life!
That's one of the reason why XRP still holds a good price now despite of the high supply.
Basically with that kind of update, we can assume that they are active in developing the project and they want to be one of the leaders in introducing crypto to the people to increase the adoption.

I agree, recently Ripple has a lot of things going on, by partnering with local remittance center to boost instant cross border payments. I have seen it locally, haven't try it though, but this is a good move by Ripple. Why?

Because remittances and cross border payments are a billion dollar industry. That's why they are tapping in this niche, they can be the crypto leader for all we know. And it could really bring crypto to the adoption that we all have been fascinating for years now.

Right, way to start with Asia because it is the remittance hub of the world. Most of them works abroad and sending money to their love ones is their priority. So if Ripple will somewhat solve that problem, I'm sure many of our asian brothers who are spread around the world might used this system, so it's a win-win situation for crypto and our overseas workers.

Thailand’s oldest bank Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has partnered with Ripple to create a mobile application powered by blockchain to deliver instant, low-cost cross-border payments.

Well, Ripple is not the most beloved cryptocurrency/company; however, the results from their partnerships help a lot to the industry.

Another good news for XRP and a kudos to the team too. For a hated coin it keeps growing and looking for more implementation, cooperation and so on. The simple fact is, when a project team is working head-on to what they want to achieve their efforts will keep driving the platform to be relevant; this is what investors like seeing and not some promises with no timeline of achieving them. Let other projects take a leaf from XRP, work on your ideas, improve them, seek for partners to help you expand while exposing your platform to the a larger audience and users.

Actually, XRP is doing good recently. If they will continue to tap more companies and institutions to tie up with them, in no time, we will see that they will have wider adoption than most other alts.
Real life usage will give a concrete position in the crypto market. Because without those companies using your network, basically a coin is only for trading purposes.
But if they will continue to acquire partnerships, the demand will increase as well as popularity, which consequently will drive the increase of value in the market.

Lol  Grin at least this will make XRP haters keep their mouth shut, XRP is gaining upper hand because of its centralized capability, why is this damn hard for people to see? It will be easier for them to get good partnerships all over the world than decentralized coins

I uses XRP in terms of payment transactions as well transferring from exchange to my wallet, I can say XRP is still a good investment as it pretty do a job well and helps crypto users a lot. It's nice that Thai banks are open in this transactions and this evolvement.

In market many coin available to choose as product and I think using Ripple is good option. So far only bitcoin and eth has the bigger chance to combine with every program and using out side them is smart choice, can reduce fees and avoid crowded network. Bank also can get income and ( maybe ) government can get taxes. Manage risk by using alternative way need to keep growing and now we see good example for better future.

This is why ripple was able to replace ethereum at the 2nd position because of it's usage and broad marketing techniques but right now they are in the 3rd position as ethereum was able to get it's 2nd place again because of the demand that out powered the ripple.

If this kind of action will continue to spread across the world then ripple will surely be victorious again and there is a big chance that it can compete to bitcoin someday if it continuous to grow steadily. SCB bank has made the right decision that they accept partnership with ripple as it can surely widen their coverage and obtain a better profit in the future.

I think it is great news because it is good proof that local industry are now embracing the crypto world system. I did not wonder that ripple is always partner of a big instution specially banks because all we know that this is also a good crypto  but I think they select ripple even if it is at the top 3 or 4 in crypto chart because all we know that bitcoin already faced so many issue before.

im not a big fan of ripple, but they do seem to be necessary sometimes
When the tales of who built what infrastructure in crypto are written, Ripple will go down as the one that worked with banks, no doubt about that
i just let them do their thing, this is a huge ecosystem, and theres room for any people that want to bridge financial worlds, as much as some would like the old one to just burn Tongue

Ripple has collaborated a lot with banks but is it possible that it will help the crypto industry?
I know that Ripple is the 3rd most famous crypto at the moment and there are indeed many big investors from Ripple but will this be a good price?
I think that at the moment Ripple is still not giving a big profit for investors because prices continue to be weak and falling.

What industry did you mean? if that was about bankers and that should be a correct opinion and if you meant about the crypto industry and you may wrong about this as crypto has not place to take a part on that app as it has clearly stated in the article if that will be used for the fiat payment system that doesn't require the users to go to the bankers and fill various forms just to send the money.
Ripple is very well known as a company that gives contribution to the bankers but not for the crypto.

This is good news about Ripple, indeed Ripple always partners with big companies or big banks that are famous in the country they are able to break through new adoptions about blockchain, especially Ripple and the bank will release an application to facilitate users in its transactions of course this news will be in received by the community.
With this news, will XRP tokens increase?
