Did you post in the Regional board ? You will get lots of interest from the Thai Local Board for sure. Good luck with your new venture !
We offer both Thai and English version.
The URLs are simply
https://www.thaibtc.com/th >> for Thai version
https://www.thaibtc.com/en >> for English version
Yes I posted on the regional board and gained momentum in a past few weeks.
Thank you for your feedback
I was checking the Wikipedia and learnt that English is not widely used in Thailand, rather they use languages mostly from the Tai-Kadai and Austro-Asiatic lingua family followed by Sino-Tibetan languages. Would have been better if you redirects your visitors into Thai version at first hand then if they want they can choose English version if they prefer. Just a humble suggestion.
Or else if you redirects all https://www.thaibtc.com visits into https://www.thaibtc.com/en automatically then people may understand language options themselves.
Thank you for your suggestion. We plan to redesign the homepage and move language selection to the top.
Currently, the default language is Thai if users visit the URL: https://www.thaibtc.com
You might get redirected to English version automatically. I will need to double check with the dev who manages this section.
In Thailand, there're 3 most commonly used languages: Thai, English and Chinese (Teochew dialect).
There're very similarities in Thai and Laos, as you mentioned Tai-Kadai. In fact, Laos people know almost everything speaking in Thai.
The survey for English is sometimes inaccurate. In my opinion, most of the people know English (at least in BKK), but afraid to talk in English.
