I do not think you will get arrested for trading your BTC in Thailand at the moment. There has been news or Bitcoin being illegal, but there hasn't been a massive clampdown on Bitcoin trading activities. I'm pretty sure, whatever your activities are, you will come good.

As of today BTC in Thailand is not illegal but it's not legal either, Thailand slowly open crypto in the country but due to government statement about it some agency and other businesses has their own opinions.... It was said that crypto just needed a national policy for it.

As a expat in Thailand I have been looking into this. Apparently the Thai bank dubbed digital currency as "illegal" but the Government basically told the back to F*** off and that they don't have the authority to make that decision.

So it's far less illegal than prostitution *Lol* and I'm sure in another 20 years when the cops learn to turn a computer on by themselves... They still won't comprehend digital currency.

Hi
I read months ago that BTC is illegal in Thailand. I'm wondering what penalty I have to expect when I'm starting to sell a few on localbitcoins.com.

On Sunday (ICT) I will have my first trade in bangkok. If you don't read any more from me, consider me arrested, take care that I got mentioned somewhere in the news and donate for my daugher: 1335STSwu9hST4vcMRppEPgENMHD2r1REK
It's all for bitcoin, guys!
