After January of 2018, wearing an avatar is an indicator of constructive users.

It isn't. It would have been if merit airdrop had not occured. There are still plenty of old accounts which are in control of users who are spamming in Altcoin boards and Bitcoin Discussion.

Not your keys, not your coins!
After January of 2018, wearing an avatar is an indicator of constructive users. Users who ranked up with merit system and being able to wearing avatars mostly are constructive users. I congratulate Raptarx for this promotion to Full Member rank.

I remember it like yesterday when I first experience ranking up to enable wearing an avatar with the merit system it was early January this year. The feeling was out of this world. I celebrate with you OP for putting in some efforts. If you must have made it this fear then you must have been above average so congratulations. Now double your efforts because it gets tougher as you aim higher. Just been average won't take you all the way, prove to the community you deserve a spot at higher ranks by contributing more positively. Wish you all the best, +1 for motivation.

Your effort is admirable, it will motivate other members to follow.

Will your goal reach the next rank? I'm sure for that but it will be a difficult road.
BTW: Congratulations.

so keep up the good work and keep earning more and more merits and I hope to see you in the list of self-made Legendaries here. Smiley
I will keep up as long as I am active here. Self-made Legendary will be far away for me, you know I can't spend much time here. Moreover, it's all about 1000 merit. I need to be active foe at least 2 more year to get that much number of merits, nevertheless, I will keep trying to put my best effort to contribute in the forum.

Congrats, you deserve it.
I have seen some of your posts in this board and those were wrapped nicely and easily for the newbie. I have join long before you but couldn't make it yet.

I'm extremely glad that many of you guys are showing positivity towards merit system and are doing their best for the community as well as being rewarded and ranked up through that. It actually excites me how solemnly you served to your local community and honestly trying to learn almost everything you can, so keep up the good work and keep earning more and more merits and I hope to see you in the list of self-made Legendaries here. Congratulations, but what is your next goal, if you do not have a goal you will remain at this level for a very long time.
No specific goal other than learning more about bitcoin, I am not that much of expert in technical issue. Trying hard to get everything one by one. My goal is to become a veteran in bitcoin technical issue. I am writing some stuff in my local on cryptocurrency, I must ensure them the best.

You've got a new rank and that means you have to improve your posts so you're no longer a newbie member.
I am trying to increase my posting quality, I guess I already have improved a lot.

You've got a new rank and that means you have to improve your posts so you're no longer a newbie member.

Also, moral duty will push you to help new members as it happened when you were a beginner especially members of local boards.

Not bad at all. You received your first merit on the 09/02/2019 from a so called DdmrDdmr just over a couple of weeks after creating your account, and have been pretty consistent at it since then (a bit shy in April). Over 80% of your Merits came from the Beginners & Help section, which means you contribute there a fair share. Congrats.

Note: As with many other local boards, yours is not very strong, which is a shame as you’d be a good contributor there too.

Thank you Ddmrddmr for the kind words. I have tried to be active at technical discussion as well, but I need more knowledge before being an active participant there. Perhaps, in the coming days, I will be active.

Can you share the strategies which you used to become a full member on the forum? I would also want to see myself as the full member soon.
I already have shared the strategy. Have you missed it?

I have learned more about bitcoin and in return, I have been promoted to full member.
Doesn't it sound cool? Learn and get promoted.

I must have to thank the forum because it's allowing me to wear an avatar.

It's not yet 5 months of my registration here. I have reached the full member rank.

I would like to thank everyone who help me to learn some technical aspects of bitcoin as well as to learn more about cryptocurrency. I'm blessed that I have had joined here and got the touch of a lot of veteran users. Otherwise, it would never be that easy to learn a lot of things.

I remember Ddmrddmr inspired me by throwing merits to my post. Thank you Ddmrddmr, that was a great motivation. I must admit that bob123 had helped me learning some technical aspects. He is a great member of the forum.

dbshck, bones261, Pamoldar, suchmoon have shared many merits towards my 109 merits. It helped me to reach 100 merits mark so early.

LoyceV, you are great. You care a lot about forum members. Thank you for creating self moderated thread for reporting unmerited post and for your free service of Vanity Address Generation.
There's more name to mention, it's a never ending list, I guess.

It was a nice journey. I have learned more about bitcoin and in return, I have been promoted to full member.
Doesn't it sound cool? Learn and get promoted.

Take my gratitude everyone and keep helping other forum member. I will follow the same as well.

Request to newbie-
Try learning as much as you can, rank will be more easier than you think. It's easy if you learn first. Otherwise, I guess it will be the hardest job.

Take care.

I have seen your posts in the Beginners and Help section and it is really helpful. You deserve another rank because you are helping the forum.

That is enough proof that merits are not scarce as long as you contribute to the forum in a good way.
I would not refer it as contribution to the forum. It's self learning. I have to learn about bitcoin, studied it and posted here. Veteran member corrected me as well as dropped some merit  Cheesy

I always like to read when other users appreciate this forum and the community that is working hard to keep it the way it is. It never gets old.
RapTarX has a good post to merit ratio. For every 3-4 posts you make you receive 1 merit. That is enough proof that merits are not scarce as long as you contribute to the forum in a good way.
