u dont need a new forum for email validation, its in SMF options, i run a SMF forum and i have enabled email validation; its a simple as that

SMS verification will slow them down, one number per account. Would keep the lazy scammers and account farmers away.

Not sure how that would work though. Haven't seen it done on many forums and I know most people here want to remain somewhat anonymous.

I seldom check the speculation section, but according to Blitz (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/moderator-blitz-is-suspected-of-being-paid-or-fooled-by-permabulls-scammers-809325), fallling was banned for spamming rather than spreading FUD.

Yes the trolls will never stop but the new forum software will try to make their registration more complicated ( if it will have this function).

I disagree with the banning, unless they are multi-accounting then they should be able to share their speculation, good or bad. It's not much of a discussion if only one side is getting to share their views

good work. did anyone else notice that all the loser trolls like fallling and his sock puppets like rat poison, deadcoin, xiaoxiao, are gone? Blitz, I've noticed that there are a few more bearish accounts, so keep up the good work, and get them all banned!
