If the government of every country would be serious about keep the world more greener, I think the possibility of this happening will be relinquished as soon as possible. Cut cut down trees everyday to make planks and beautify out homes and offices without even thinking of replanting these trees to reduce the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
We keep seeing disasters like Bush burning, volcano eruption, tornado, earth quakes, flood because og our inability to make sure that things are well regulated to prevent coming natural disasters that could create more problems to the world.

Global warming is one of the reasons why people are using ACs instead of planting more trees. Who can plant trees on urbanized areas when everything is being developed and cemented? While there are advocates about this awareness and they continue to make efforts in informing the world about these changes. We're seeing the areas that were not flooded before being flooded. The climate is being hotter these days because there are no more trees. Human civilization is continuing to develop and yet destroying the natural resources. Well, everyone has to make their contributions starting from themselves and people think that there's more important matter to address than this issue.

Good ideas, but they won't work. Why not? Because Big Oil makes plastic out of crude. They will fight you tooth and nail, even if they do it covertly.

The government of every country can certainly make its climate action bodies more effective as well as support NGOs that are combating climate change. A lot of people are in the fight to combat plastic pollution, gas emissions and other factors that constitute environmental degradation. If the government partners with these NGOs and provides funding and other forms of support they need to educate the citizens on the environmental impacts, we can all work towards sustaining our environment and making it a cleaner and greener planet for everyone to live in.

As individuals let's learn to reduce single-use plastic bottles, bags, and other forms of plastic that can't be reused. You can opt-in for reusable water bottles and take eco-friendly reusable bags for grocery shopping. If the distance to school, work or anywhere you're going to is not far, try cycling or walking to reduce the use of cars and buses that emit CO2 gases. Together with the government of our country, we can take strict measures to reduce our carbon footprint and improve our environment.

But if you trade your USDollars for, say, Iraqi Dinar, you get a lot more paper. You might not be able to eat it comfortably, but you can use it for insulation in the walls of your house.

And you can probably find some other currency that will even give you more 'paper' than the Iraqi Dinar.

Money can’t be eaten but you can buy food to eat by money.
By cutting trees you can made paper, boats etc for human use. The problem number of trees cut per year is way much higher the trees we planted for per year.

It is still quite unreal to imagine there will be a time all trees will get chopped down on this planet though. People is more aware than ever on the importance of trees and the ecosystem in general for us to continue to live on this planet.
Needless to say, trees generate oxygen we need and the many of the crops we consume, people won't chop down apple trees, orange trees and so own, so there will be always at least fruit trees, for the sake of consumption.
Also, I am aware there are alternatives for human beings to generate oxygen, through chemical reactions, for example, however such a thing will never be a full replacement to the natural way we get our breathable air, since the beginning.

Even in space stations there are on going experiments to study whether it would be possible to sow trees in man-made structures in space. It tells a lot on the importance we give to them, don't you think?  

I think that the moment when the last tree is cut down will no longer worry us much. Considering the pace of human development, the issues of space expansion no longer seem unimaginable.

Yet, money in the form of simple barter (if nothing else) will always exist until God ends this world.

The environment issues are symptoms of what they are fed with in schools, knowledge centers, etc. Bees would produce good quality honey if they consume good quality necter. If you give them sugar water they give you poor quality honey.
The knowledge the humans are fed with needs to be natural rather than artificial

The day the last tree on earth will be cut down.
  The day the last river will dry up. 
The day the last fish is caught.
  That day everyone will understand that money cannot be eaten. 

There is a reason why I said these words and that is environmental pollution.  As the present world is moving towards modernity, the environment is also getting polluted.   Now there is AC in the morning room.  Vehicles on the road.  Ships in the sea, launch steamers in the river.  To say that the causes of environmental pollution are present in water and land.  As a result of environmental pollution, greenhouse gases are increasing, due to excess temperature, melting of polar ice is causing floods.  Then the normal seasonal cycle is disrupted.  Day by day we just want to be modern but no one is paying attention to the environment of the world.  If someone would have planted a tree next to the house with money, then maybe he would have benefited more from the AC, but people of your era want to live only in modernity.  We need to keep pace with both technology and the environment.  If not, the amount of pollution in the world will increase and future generations will fall into uncertainty.  The people and governments of every country should keep an important eye on the environment council.  Governments of every country must take strict measures regarding the environment.In today's world, technology is used more in various organizations and factories.  There are food, clothing, medicine and other factories that are constantly generating waste.  Most of the organizations do not pay attention to these .  Pollutant emissions from factories pollute the air.  And debris pollutes soil and water.  The population is increasing in the world, new factories are being prepared to meet these population needs, for which trees are cut and fallow land is created.   Also, excess vehicles are another major cause of environmental pollution.  The causes of environmental pollution cannot be overstated. 
 So without saying much, I just want to say that ,

before the last tree is cut down,
before the last river dries up,
 before the last fish is caught,

 we all have to work to protect the environment of the world.  So you and all of us have to come forward to prevent this pollution.
