^ i didn't read all that back and forth, but i do think there are a lot of american nationalists who defend america no matter the issue. america is just one fucked up clusterfuck that is tethered to every other developed country.

it's kind of like propaganda that we spit out about "defense." yeah, we have to invade iraq for the sake of defense.. it's not for oil/money, power and influence over other countries, but just "defense." and if you question it, you get called unpatriotic.. that's the kind of bullshit that you see on fox news.
EXACTLY!! People are brainwashed into believing we are a SOVEREIGN NATION! When if anyone studied any TRUE HISTORY? HISTORY has proved there was no such thing as a AMERICAN REVOLUTION! THE KING of ENGLAND backed and supported with Gold both sides of the WAR!Guaranteeing that they would not LOSE!
And all Presidents are not Elected they are SELECTED as they are all related to each other! You might ask well how do you know for sure?Because I am also related to Every President with scientific certified DNA Proof too back it up! Anyone in disbelief? You can look up on DNA registry sites and look up their Last Name and follow what their DNA type and profile is ?and just follow by LAST NAME! just watch it was even on the news https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAqXZ08thdo
They all come from a very rare genetic of Kings and are related to the Queen that less than 1% of the World population has! In case anyone's wondering? The genetic profile is called R1B Haplogroup M269 Niall of THE NINE HOSTAGES and less than 1% of the world has it LOOK IT UP if in DOUBT! What is the odds of every President with a DNA of less than 1% of the worlds population being elected to office every time ? It's about 7 billion or so to 1 for each President then add in the factor of every President in a row? It's astronomically impossible in ODDS to happen!!! for every Past and Present Presidents in a row too be elected! It's the equivalent of picking the winning lottery numbers  for Mega millions 44 times in a row!!!
We never left the control of ENGLAND as the FED RESERVE and even most of America like NEW YORK is actually still owned by the QUEEN!Most people don't want to take the time to STUDY AND READ! THE INFORMATION is OUT THERE and can be Found with Research! But It's the LAZINESS of what America has become that prevents people from learning where people need to be TOLD what to believe? and How to live their Life? They can't do things or THINK for themselves! And want to keep sucking on that Red White and BLUE DILDO In Fear of facing the TRUE REALITY because it's too much for most people to really accept? They can't handle it........ that we are all enslaved by TAXES and the DOLLAR! Lincoln never FREED THE SLAVES he just made us all EQUAL ONES! No one wants to take the time to actually study and learn? It's a shame....They just waiting on Thinking Government will ACTUALLY EVER TELL US THE TRUTH Roll Eyes  EVEN the President still bows before the Monarchy!Because that's who he OBEYS Shocked

Wow. I think I just stumbled into an infowars meet up. We don't need such vast and complicated conspiracy scenarios to know that western governments suck.

You know I never understand WHY? anyone would post in a topic that they clearly don't agree with?Either they are that STUPID or they are clearly TROLLING looking for a FIGHT!!! Well it's quite clear who is AWAKE! and who is still SLEEPING! Wink The idiots who fall for and stick up for the propaganda of THE AMERICAN DREAM are usually the inbred hillbilly neck beards lol Your alright people in my book hilariosandCo Cool
ReservoirHunt is right about on thing and one thing only although he's a imbecile  Shocked Non of us are American even if born in this country!! That is part of the propaganda everyone seems to forget? It is part of the Design to make us forget where we truly come from! The only people that can really lay that claim of American is the Native Americans! People generally have no clue on their true origins of their heritage and ancestry and how it goes beyond a LAST NAME? We all come from Europe learn your TRUE history and know your DNA and where it comes from Wink We are more then likely all from Ireland it is the TRUE MOTHERLAND! As we all come from R1b DNA that has been scientifically proven!and Ireland is the only place on EARTH that you will find 85% of the population is R1b dna and the simple math proves this fact and where we all come from! As we don't come from Africa where there isn't even 10% of the population is R1b dna the simple Math doesn't add up Huh.If people learn about what creates MAN ?and how the Y chromosome populated the earth  and created all of Humanity where we stem from the answer becomes quite clear of how we are all Brothers and are all interrelated. But we are fed the American Dream to forget our true ancestry and fed the Lie we are Americans.......
I'm a quote another great comic Andrew dice Clay that can sum up Honeypot and Reservoirhunt!! Are you guys named Neil and BOB? Are is that like WHAT YOU DO!!! OHHHHHHHHHHH Balls across THE NOSE!!!

Please keep following Honeypot....I think he will miss his favorite, to use his term, 'bitch'. Grin

Assuming he even knows who you are. Maybe you should send him a pm about how much you follow his words, and how you were attentive enough to follow his account and browse all his posting histories.

Except I wasn't and have told you several times this is the first I've seen of him in a while. You need to change the channel and stop making nonsense up, but you must've gone through all of his posts to find that lending thread though. Why are you so obsessed with him and keep bringing him up every time? Very suspicious to me.

You went up the river without a plan....and other people rightfully pointed out your ignorance, to which you responded very petulantly and with false hype. There, easy to understand.

What are you talking about here exactly? False hype?

I did not believe anyone could be this pathetic....but here you are. Tell me again how you think you can point finger at anyone. As far as anyone can tell, I have told no insults, only descriptions. They fit you well considering you never answered my accusations directly in regards to how you approach those who answer your posts and ideas.

No u. Sorry, couldn't resist. Again, it's quite baffling that you continually accuse me of being pathetic and pointing the finger whilst continuing to do it yourself. And I'm not sure what accusations I never answered here.

I do remember that old web comic depiction where an individual with a boring look inputs a very inane comment, gets an answer back that says, 'You are stupid', and he spend the rest of his time with tears typing 'lololololol i troll you you stupid' etc. Care to tell me how you are any better? I honestly don't have anything else to make this simpler than it already is.

Care to tell me how you are any better? Again, to me this is exactly what you have and are continuing to do now.

'no u!'

'I win!'

'He started it!'

Right I am sure he remembers you....somehow.....

Considering the level of his opposition, I happen to think he's more of a realist and rest of his enemies either learn to stfu or keep moaning helplessly like you do. It's clear you instigated something that was out of your  league and you just can't accept the fact that your view point and thought might be just a tad childish and shallow.

Take for example, his post above. I don't think he was even concerend about you in particular, but was commenting on Carlin's mannerisms and thoughts, and those who follow him.

Apparently, you seem to believe he was addressing you personally, which I find laughable. I don't think your name is quite as important to others as you hold his to be.....at least not enough to remember it months down the road with impotent grudge enough to spurt out immediate reaction liek you just did Grin

No one was particularly interested in your opinions, and they all addressed the point in question, but each and every one of the time you started throwing fits and acting as if they were directed to you, which ironically became the case as you started going on downward spirals of 'no u!'.

Do tell me how it was other people who 'started it first'.

Was I expecting too much when I thought this forum would have solid, grown men talking business? Apparently some one's mum threw her bastard kid in the attic and locked him up with an internet connection.

He wasn't concerning me yet quoted me directly? Hmm, ok. He knows who I am and remembers the name hence the aggressive response and petty insults. I only remember his because he's a moronic racist and his repetitive childish insults are laughable. I'll remember you for roughly the same and I'm sure you'll remember me for the same reasons he does. Making a fool out of himself. I'm actually starting to think you're just an alt of him now. Probably created so he can spout off nonsense without getting his main account banned again. Your childish behaviour and insults are far too similar, plus you seem to think you know a lot about what he meant or his intentions, not to mention you found that laughable loan attempt thread of his pretty quickly. The polite and business plan-like PM he sent me thinking I was interested in loaning him a ridiculous amount of btc for the  collateral of a few of the then worthless and still worthless Ron Paul Coins was hilarious. He tried to tell me they'd be worth 1btc a piece very soon haha.

"'no u!'

'I win!'

'He started it!'"

Baffling. Funny how you try twist things to make them look like they've come straight out of the school playground. You seem quite adept with this infantile language, or maybe it's natural coming from your infantile and naive mind. The above are all things you did and the 'no u' thing is what you are continuing to do (and I'm pretty sure Honeypot did at one point). I only brought these things up because you're complaining about me having an 'attitude' and for the same things you did and in fact instigated. It's nothing but pure hypocrisy to do this and you're just doing it because accusing me of having an attitude is the only thing you've got left along with stooping down to childish insults. You simply dish them out then complain when you get it back as if you're the only officer who is permitted to hand it out. Again, you don't make any real point at all but just make insults that are plucked from no where but the childish playground that is your arse. I guess the lesson for me to learn here is not to argue with kids on the Internet. Nice chatting to you.

lol wait....all this nagging on one guy because he made a thread for a loan months ago.....where you jumped in....and got put in your place. In the end, he had no problems with his business and you had to slink out with your foot in the mouth...

Yes, we all see where you are coming from. Not a good place to be that.; Should've outgrown that phase long ago. I think this guy really got under your skin and you are trying to come up with any plausible excuse other than his points, which are though extreme, very poignant in terms of describing how you behave.

I think we all see what is going on. If you got a problem with this man, stop following his posts and start doing something real  about it. Otherwise, I would suggest you need to stop with this hopeless tag where you are obviously trying to give attitude after being 'called out' for who you are.

Your clever rebuttals are kind of weak seeing as you seem to keep getting yourself into these kinds of mess where you have no other excuse than 'NO U'....

You obviously can't take some legitimate criticism and start throwing tantrums at the first sign of being told off about your manners....

I think I will start following Honeypot closely now - never know when you get to work up another courage to bitch at him again. It will make a good show for all of us.

Yawn. You do crack me up at your continued hypocrisy. It's always the people who give attitude first that complain about it when they're matched  and ultimately defeaten by it. Actually go back and read the posts and see who dished out the insults and attitude first. I just cleverly turned them around every time and used them against you and this probably infuriated you as it tends to do with you type of people. Clearly the only person who's under anyones skin here is me under yours. Yet again you provide absolutely nothing of relevance or based on any facts whatsoever. Funny how I'm following him around when the first I've seen of him in months was when he responded to me in this thread with his usual childish fashion with what clearly was frustration with me. You say I'm nagging on about him but it's you that kept bringing him in to this argument because you had nothing else to go on. Enjoy your following of him though. I'm sure you'll get on great.

.....lol

Have you ever addressed anyone's points? I think I made my own quite clear. Your lack of proper response and 'get off their dick' is a pretty telling sing you got nothing other than attitude to bring to  this discussion. You more or less had no substance and came in with empty hands and empty stomach by the looks of it. No wonder this guy looks down on you.

You really are quite bizarre and delusional. I've addressed all the points that needed to be, not that you really made any apart from just making your disdain known for anyone who criticises the great USA. If you want to point out which ones I've apparently skirted or not addressed fully I'll be more than happy to do so.

I honestly need to tell you you should fix that attitude of yours and maybe watch the mouth too...

Haha. Why should I watch it exactly? These are exactly the type of laughable pseudo threats Honeypot makes to people. Telling people they have 'attitude' is also a last resort people use who have no other argument left and feel like they've been gotten the better of. You gave attitude and you got it back and now you don't like it and it's the same story for everyone who ever says this.

Do yourself a favor and play internet detective with me, or if you got nothing else worth saying, gtfo. I honestly don't see anything other than someone jumping in to a conversation because somehow this guy managed to twist your panties so bad you are now trying to play mind games with him - over an internet argument. Judging by your reaction to him and anyone who you *think* sides with him, you pretty much got fk'd while he held you down by the neck....all because he called you out at the first obvious sign of who you are.

Jumping into a conversation? Isn't that exactly what Honeypot and now you just did? Amazing. I think the bolded part applies to what's just happened to you here though hence why you're so angry and frustrated. And I'm not riled up in the slightest and you're sadly mistaken if you think you or he or anybody else on this forum has ever done so. To say you're so against people making assumptions and being childish you sure do have a knack for contradicting yourself and being a hypocrite. The thing is, I've only ever had two or three run-ins with Honeypot and those were at the beginning of the year and this is the first I've seen of him since (see my first post addressed to him) but I've seen many more from other people who have called him out on his racism/nonsense and he reacts to it in exactly the same way every time. I'll try find one of his threads for you later. He was actually banned for a while for his off-topic racist ratings on several threads, but I guess it must just be me who he 'held down and raped' with his nonsense, right? My 'issues' with him are nothing more than he's an old and angry racist idiot who acts like a child. End of story.

I think you need to stop palying at being a child pseudo intellecutal who apparently has 'mastered' the ability to discern other people's nationalities and discuss politics because you are such a 'sharp' fellow.

I think you're projecting a lot of your insecurities and own failings on to me here as most of that seems to be exactly what you're doing. It's funny that you keep referring to me as a child as if that's the only put-down you can come up with. Further irony is that the only childishness here is coming from you as you've just descended into throwing all your toys out of the pram whilst kicking and screaming doing the very things you've continually accused me of.

Serious, the sight of Americans not giving a f in regards to your constant bitching must rile you up. Did you get molested by some Americans or something.....

lol serious question.

But you quite clearly do 'give an f' and have been riled yourself less you wouldn't be here angrily pulling stuff out of your arse. And I wasn't raped by America, but I'm starting to think you might've been though. Would explain your homoerotic obsession with America and it's dream that you keep having to defend and fellate constantly (even though you're apparently not American). As I said above, America has never done anything to or for me. It's probably never done anything for you either apart from given you something to feel superior and proud about because you've got nothing else to be. There's some great writings on the nature and psychology of patriotism and nationalism. You should look into that. I think you'd learn a lot about yourself. Oh wait, you're not American though, are you?  Roll Eyes

Edit: Also, I would like to ask why you are so hating the fact that he called you a bitch - any proof? Link? Although from your attitude i do not blame him at the least Grin

I'm not hating. It doesn't bother me at all, I just find it funnily pathetic that that's all he's ever got. And it's not just me he calls a bitch. It's anyone who has a problem with his racist attitude and calls him out for it. Calling people 'punks' is another of his favourites. Go through his posts if you've got nothing better to do and you'll see all he's got to offer. Start from the beginning though if you do.

Are you still thinking I am an American...lol.

You've been rambling on for a while now about how you think you defeated anyone when you are the one being called to the stand for not having any coherent arguments other than your attitude.

When presented with facts, you are clearly resorting to popularized misconceptions and insistance on politically biased fantasies while always trailing behind to get your last word in, just like you do after every argument that exposes your very transparent feelings.

'Winning' I think we all know who is barely 18 here. Personally, I don't think Honeypot is wrong in marking you as a 'bitch', if he in fact did so.

I've lost count of how many people end up claiming they're not American after these sorts of debates because usually that's the only cop out and way they can attempt to claw back a point. Usually when you go through through their posts you'll see there's evidence to suggest otherwise - American spellings/grammar, talking about money in dollars etc and flat out admitting to being American in one way or another, but I have no reason to believe you aren't one unless you can prove otherwise, but if you're not in fact American then you really need to get off their dick and stop believing the propaganda the media spew, but you're not fooling anyone here. Maybe you're just one of those flag-waving foreigners who puts on their little red white and blue hat when someone vaguely famous or important visits them cos they just love that good old American fantasy dream though? Who knows?

And do you know what's funny? I always find it humorous that the only people who ever complain about trying to get the last word in are those who do it themselves as if that's their last line of defence when they've exhausted everything else and don't have anything meaningful left to say. You say I've been presented with facts but I'm not seeing any here other than your opinions. You seem to be deluded and now you're just making up fantasies yourself and resorting to childish attempts at putdowns. I'll keep responding when you keep posting nonsense directed at me. If you no longer wish to carry on this discussion take your own advice and mine. If you feel like you 'won' here then you keep thinking that and everybody else can make up their own mind, but all you seemingly have left now is resorting to what Honeypot does and being childish by trying to imply I'm under 18 for some reason as if age always equals that people are wrong. But for the record, you are wrong.

P.s. You also can't take the mature high ground here when you use the word 'lol'. That's something children on the Internet use and is probably more of an indication of your age or more likely just immaturity lol.

.....lol

When people sell their birthright  for the promise of prosperity, they volunteer to have everything rigged to benefit the wealthiest of the already wealthy. In a rigged game, it's just a matter of keeping people playing until they have nothing (or just enough to keep them hoping!) To quote George Carlin: "it's called the American Dream 'cause you have to be asleep to believe it

Yes...you have been slapped a few times now...it shows Smiley

From what I can see the only one here thinking they know what others think while they are slapping you around silly for jumping into a conversation clearly unprepared with nothing more than mouth and cheeky attitude.

Even this Honeypot guy makes more sense than you and you are just being a nagging effeminate hung over trying to get the last word in lol.

Also, don't make obvious attempts at trying to be clever and try to be less obvious about if you are butt hurt from other people's jabs at your soft spots...try to come up with with your own thing for a change.

You clearly have no understanding of how other people think, and even less of Americans or anyone else for that matter. Only thing sappier than the 'American Dream' is your idea about what you think you know...which you have little grasp of.

Nope. Not unless you think being 'slapped' or winning an argument is by calling someone a 'bitch' 'whiny bitch' or a 'little bitch' several times in one paragraph to any user he disagrees with, but you sound exactly like him now alleging nonsensical stuff you cannot back up and somehow have deluded yourself into thinking you're right. I think the comments you're resorting to now just sound like the deathrattles of someone who knows he's been defeaten or cannot further his argument so he's just trying to attack in whatever childish way he can. And I'm not sure exactly what softspots of mine have been exposed, but we all now know which yours are though. You should probably take your own advice from the parts that I've bolded as they apply to you. You've continually proven my point about the type of American you are just like Honeypot. You take criticism of America personally and it only ever hurts ignorant patriots and nationalists, but maybe we should just leave it there though because this isn't going to go anywhere. We can let others decide who's right and who's wrong here.

Weren't you the one who first opened your mouth when he wasn't even being all that jingoistic? He was speaking in general about developed nations and Carlin's attitude which seem more or less accurate despite being some what extreme. Then you came in with some attitude and start taking about America and now 'team America'.

Did you get slapped by this Honeypot guy or something you sound really butthurt. Not being sarcastic.

Nope, he was 'slapped' by me several times before in a similar fashion to how you have just been and for similar reasons (though you're probably not as horribly racist as he is), and the only butthurt person here is you. He also resorts to childishness when he can't back up his points though, but I'll also give you that you're slightly less childish than him seeing as he generally just resorts to using the word 'bitch' and other schoolyard insults in various ways over and over. He's one of those typical Americans who think their country is the authority of the world and people should be grateful when they have the honour of being 'liberated' by them as if they've been done a great favour that could never be repaid.

I don't think anyone said USA was the savior of the world, only doing what its influence and power eventually forces them to act in a way that protects its interests. Not to mention their so called atrocities are nothing but in your imagination, and those receiving them such as saddam or gaddafi and osama are pretty much an undeniable picture of corruption, ignorance, and outright murder.

Haha. Shows how delusional you truly are. Protect its interests? Oil and money? That bolded part sounds like the very definition of what America has become and that Iraqi and Afghan body count is atrociously high, but they deserved it and are better off now because of it, right? Tyrants fighting tyrants. The real terrorists are always  the ones with the bigger weapons, but keep believing the propaganda and singing the Star Mangled Banner and believing in that sappy American dream. It's clear you are blinded by it.

I didn't say you were one. I said you sound like one, and it's you who started the petulant knee-jerk reaction of which typical Americans do to criticism of their country. I find your hypocrisy laughable here and that in fact shows more of your insecurities and probable hollow pride in patriotism. You complain that I'm being puerile but then follow it up with the most childish reaction and innacuracy. America hasn't done anything to me personally, but I find it amusing when Americans spring to its defence as if it's the saviour of the world and we should be grateful to it for protecting and serving us all. I personally might not have felt the wrath of Team America but millions in other countries sure have and continue to do so on a daily basis, and your excuse is just, but there are worst countries - look at the Asians and poor countries! but that's always the case from you people. Passing the book and shifting the blame.

And you're still forgetting he's an American comedian commenting on what he sees and knows. Are you going to stop polishing the knob of America and bending over for it or do you have no regard for your own dignity?

'You people'? Every time you hang on to people's words you prove them better by actually thinking you are in the right. You sound really childish right now and I was thinking we are supposed to make this a 18+ site.

He's a comedian. That's his act. You know what you just sound like? A typical butthurt American who doesn't like anyone criticising their glorious country who thinks everybody in the world should owe it something. America is going down that hell hole of annihilation itself and taking the world with it and has been for quite some time. Carlin's view might be extreme, but he's funnily right if you can look at it objectively, and you're still not willing to accept he's just a comedian commenting on issues as he saw fit. Many intelligent people agreed with him. Many unintelligent ones didn't. I think you get the picture here.

Actually, he's only looking at things from what is called 'useless contrarian' point of view - arguement for the sake of arguement. His arguments could easily apply much better in east asian societies or any nations across the poverty parallel. Yet, for some reason, it's all doom and gloom for people like yourselves when it's about US.

I actually happen to think you are just being childishly cheeky about being butthurt because for one thing you automatically assume I am American, and another being you have this petulant knee jerk attitude of spouting insults while clearly not considering it oculd apply just as well else where least of all yourselves.

I happen to know many Americans who are some of the most down to earth, solid people with clear view of their goals. People like you on the other hand, try and bitch with some severe sense of insecurity complex and anxiety that is clear as day.

Tell us.....where did big bag 'murica touch you to hop and squeal without any regard for your own dignity?

He just doesn't like anyone saying anything bad about the greatest country in the world and his American dream.

Actually , we haven't seen George Carlin doing anything useful other than pretending he's the only sane man in the room.

I have to agree to some extent with Honeypot, even if my sentiment isn't that extreme. If you look at it objectively, America has much above others.

Are you American? Carlin probably was one of the only sane men in the room, and yes, America does have much above others: http://youtu.be/1zqOYBabXmA (from 5:18 onwards).

And you're forgetting one thing: he's a comedian.

Carlin was certainly not alone in thinking there are two sides to the same coin. What's funny and pathetic is that he seems convinced he alone was the only sane one, and supported by ignorant people who praised him, most thinking they are also themselves the smartest in the room.

I think you get the picture here.

Why forget US is basically providing a great deal you take for granted? Should the dollar and most other US based structures collapse, do you have any idea how fast the world will go down the hell hole with annihilation of anything resembling stability?

And no, he is not being a comedian. That's a pretty weak cop out for wanting to rant like George Carlin.

He's talking hard shit, bit he has nothing to back it up with. He certainly has little courage to criticize really jacked up people around the world, but is overly comfortable in criticizing at people he thinks can take pot shots at. Since when was he, a child born and raised in a comfort of 1st world nation, such an expert in moral dilemmas of the world Huh

If nothing else, I think George Carlin is pretty much spot on........about himself Grin

Population is brainwash into thinking having a house is a must.

Having a house doesn't mean having a dream.

Ironically, this is probably written by someone who either owns or resides in a house in the given moment.   Roll Eyes

It's just like Al Gore who tells us to quit contributing to global warming, while he constantly flies first class / private jets and eats luxury food imported from all over the world and his mansions (which 9/10 go uninhabited as he can't be everywhere at once) are heated by natural gas.

Well I think having a house is a dream for everyone, something to live in and come home to.
Everyone in the world should have a nice home where he can live, but that's not the case people live on the streets everywhere.
But I think the way we are supposed to get that house is all wrong, be in debt and work your whole life for your house.
Anyone in the world should be able to live in a nice house that's my dream.

That was the result of cheap credit which priced everyone out from affording a home, unless they borrow

People were also encouraged to buy more house than they can afford and to do it with variable interest rates. But hey the bankers got their bailouts so we should be thankful. Smiley

Population is brainwash into thinking having a house is a must.

Having a house doesn't mean having a dream.

Ironically, this is probably written by someone who either owns or resides in a house in the given moment.   Roll Eyes

"It's called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it."
-George Carlin

Another relevant quote from Carlin that I like:

Quote
For a long time, my stand-up material has drawn from three sources. The first is the English language: words, phrases, sayings, and the way we speak. The second source, as with most comedians, has been what I think of as the “little world,” those things we all experience every day: driving, food, pets, relationships, and idle thoughts. The third area is what I call the”big world”: war, politics, race, death, and social issues. Without having actually measured, I would say this book reflects the balance very closely. The first two areas will speak for themselves, but concerning the “big world,” let me say a few things.

I’m happy to tell you there is very little in this world that I believe in. Listening to the comedians who comment on political, social, and cultural issues, I notice most of their material reflects an underlying belief that somehow things were better once and that with just a little effort we could set them right again. They’re looking for solutions, and rooting for particular results, and I think that necessarily limits the tone and substance of what they say. They’re talented and funny people, but they’re nothing more than cheerleaders attached to a specific, wished-for outcome. I don’t feel so confined. I frankly don’t give a fuck how it all turns out in this country – or anywhere else, for that matter. I think the human game was up a long time ago (when the high priests and traders took over), and now we’re just playing out the string. And that is, of course, precisely what I find so amusing: the slow circling of the drain by a once promising species, and the sappy, ever-more-desperate belief in this country that there is actually some sort of “American Dream,” which has merely been misplaced. The decay and disintegration of this culture is astonishingly amusing if you are emotionally detached from it. I have always viewed it from a safe distance, knowing I don’t belong; it doesn’t include me, and it never has. No matter how you care to define it, I do not identify with the local group. Planet, species, race, nation, state, religion, party, union, club, association, neighborhood, improvement committee; I have no interest in any of it. I love and treasure individuals as I meet them, I loathe and despise the groups they identify with and belong to. So, if you read something in this book that sounds like advocacy of a particular political point of view, please reject the notion. My interest in “issues” is merely to point out how badly we’re doing, not to suggest a way we might do better. Don’t confuse me with those who cling to hope. I enjoy describing how things are, I have no interest in how they “ought to be.” And I certainly have no interest in fixing them. I sincerely believe that if you think there’s a solution, you’re part of the problem. My motto: Fuck Hope! P.S. Lest you wonder, personally, I am a joyful individual with a long, happy marriage and a close and loving family. My career has turned out better than I ever dreamed, and continues to expand. I am a personal optimist but skeptic about all else. What may sound to some like anger is really nothing more than sympathetic contempt. I view my species with a combination of wonder and pity, and I root for it’s destruction. And please don’t confuse my point of view with cynicism; the real cynics are the ones who tell you everything’s gonna be all right. P.P.S. By the way, if, by chance, you folks do manage to straighten things out and make everything better, I still don’t wish to be included.

Pretty amusing for a useless mouthy fool who has been suckling on the man tits of those 'sappy dreams' for all his life, yet finds it comfortable enough to bitch about it Smiley

George Carlin and the rest of those posh smart mouths are in fact the pus dripping from over abundance and complacency that is the cancer of any developed society.

Oh, look it's Honeypot. Bitcointalk's resident racist angry old nationalist. Haven't seen your nonsense around for a while. I guess it's rare that you venture out of your crapcoin playpen with the rest of the children on this forum. Tell me again how you think Ron Paul Coin is going to be worth between 1-10 Bitcoins a piece  Grin. Let me guess, now you'll resort to your barrage of childish cliche insults of calling people a bitch over and over. Still, I guess you've got to cling to that desperate sappy American dream, eh? Keep circling that drain and playing out that string Wink.

Thomas Jefferson – “If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the very continent their fathers conquered!”

Hard to believe some people foresee the problem 300+ years ago.

Maybe he assumed it to happen sooner? Jefferson didn't say when it will happen, he said _if_ it happens. It's the same if i say that "when Ireland wins FIFA world cup, there will be huge party in Dublin".. I don't say when it happens.. i just say what is the cause of one happening.

--

The American dream is in other countries too... It's not always about freedom and ritches.. it's more like "go to school, get a job, buy a house, get married, have kids, you are doing fine".. But it's same kind of lie because everybody can't achieve all that. Then people are told to blame themselves for "not doing hard work".. It's not his fault.. it's the system. It's not possible for everybody to succeed. In a different system it might be possible to everyone to have decent life but not everyone can be rich.

The American dream was always a contrast to the nightmare of the old world.  The one problem now is that American values have now entrenched themselves throughout the world, unless you happen to live in backwater like Burma (which only recently brought in Coca Cola), your society has been thoroughly Americanized (is your country a democracy?  does it have free speech and recognition of property?  Has class distinction been diminished?)

There were advantages to having been American back in the 1960s but those days are long gone.  If the American dream is being able to work yourself into a middle class existence with a house and an automobile, those things are arguably more accessible in Germany than in the US these days.  More accessible as a Polish plumber in Britain who can work in the UK for 20 years and retire and live like a king in Poland.

When we know the rules, we can try to go against it but like fighting with gravity, you'll be exhausted after a while.
The alternative is too play with it, the pragmatic adjusts the sails. Make bankers and politicians work for you.

Yeh but how do we do that man ?
The inflation is getting worse, and people dont seem to care at all.
Maybe we should organize a bank run or just make some bad press about banks and fiat currency.
To wake up some people.

If we believe the currency will go down, the only thing we have to do is to store the wealth elsewhere than in a fiat.
Inflation can be good news if you do that.

And when enough person do that... the bank run will happen by itself Wink

!But people are still blind to the fact THE FED isn't even a government entity and still think it's run by our government and that we control it?people still think this is the Land of the Free......When in Reality it is HOME OF THE SLAVE LOL People need too WAKE UP first and realize they have been enslaved with Taxes and DEBT and REGISTRATIONS of PROPERTY with the Illusion that these things like Houses,Cars etc are bought and owned by us? When in reality we never owned these things to begin with because they will be taking away if not registered and paid taxes on! If you truly own something it can never be taking away by a bank or gov entity...and when and if that happens and people WAKE UP? only then we can finally rid ourselves of the KABAL and the evil  FIAT system;) People need to stop giving Fiat value because it has none only the Illusion of it implanted in our minds over the past century because we are told so..............

Well said, we should get rid of the fiat system but so many people still believe in it, because that's what they teach us in school and on television.
And we already have so many poor and homeless in the world, if 1 American would not kill kids or innocent people in yet another shooting overthere.
But instead kill some corrupt politicians and bankers, that would be alot better then some innocents again.

Nobody "believes" in it.  We're required by law to use fiat

Kill bankers & politicians.  Riight...So you promote murder?   Roll Eyes

The answer is pretty simple.........STOP SELLING BITCOIN FOR DOLLARS!!! By selling bitcoin for dollars we are #1 constantly devaluing Bitcoin and #2 by doing so We are still buying into the FIAt system and giving it the strength and value it needs to survive......... People need to hold and businesses need to store Bitcoin and use it for value not use third party payment processors that liquidate Bitcoin for Fiat its not helping its only enslaving us more......When we finally stop believing in  THE DREAM OF THE DOLLAR? Then Bitcoin it can become its own currency with no need for worthless paper dollars that are constantly devalued through inflation! The problem is exchanges and the bitcoin value being based on the Dollar! Bitcoin really needs its own intrinsic value system with people giving its value against a dollar that can be made infinitely its a losing numbers game 21 million against infinity........ The fed can just print up a trillions+ dollars and buy it out with the push of a printing press button if they really want...People need to ween themselves off the Dollar and just say NO Too IT! and realize it's complete worthlessness a dollar will always be worth less then face value in the years too come just look at the price of a Snickers bar today @ about $1.19+ ten years ago same candy bar was about .50 cents or less this is what the dollar brings us with inflation to pay more for the same thing that used to cost less  and it's only going to get worse in the years too come.......People need to get rid of there dollars for Bitcoin not the other way around only then we can break the monopoly !But people are still blind to the fact THE FED isn't even a government entity and still think it's run by our government and that we control it?people still think this is the Land of the Free......When in Reality it is HOME OF THE SLAVE LOL People need too WAKE UP first and realize they have been enslaved with Taxes and DEBT and REGISTRATIONS of PROPERTY with the Illusion that these things like Houses,Cars etc are bought and owned by us? I am afraid American Dream is ghost of the past. There is a constant deflation. Problem is, the central banks are creating an inflation +2% above par.  This type of monetary policy creates hyperinflation because the basis of the credit is fiat - it is by decree.  This has only happened so many times in history, and it has never ended well. Debt needs a backing, a basis. When it has none all hell breaks loose. Chaos finds a home. There is no growth - oil exploration vs demand has shown such.  Employment has shown such. There are so many homeless, destitute - it's almost like the Elite are trying to usher in the Bible's Apocalypse.

A long time ago I saw this video The American Dream:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGk5ioEXlIM

It's a really good video about how the money/banking system work's today.
Also it is a nice video to show some friend's that are totally not interested in any of these subject's
Because they made it a very fun video to watch, Show your friends and family.

And in the video Andrew Jackson was really proud of 1 thing before he died (He killed the banks)
My question is What can we do to stop the banks, and let the people know bitcoin is here to take them down!
