Op, you should have included links to the profile instead of picture. I spent most of my time reading the write up in the picture which was not even the main emphasis.

Admin can also just edit out the username that made the post on request minus necessarily deleting the account like it is the case with this thread that was made not so long ago --> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/project-covid-19-a-financial-aid-only-for-bitcointalk-users-5246208

The user who made that thread is still an active member of the community. Anonymous only appears in that thread.

I think the OP of the link you provided is Lauda. I may not be so sure but Lauda happens to be the only comment "reserve#2". In the forum the topic creator always type reserve after creating a topic. But I am confused because the first reply that said #reserve2 should be Anonymous also.

What type of situation can I face to ask the admin to turn my account to Anonymous?

Thank you boss for taking your time to explain what this is, I really find the explaination quite helpful.
Both of them are right and what JeromeTash explained is exception since the forum account is still active and only the username or name of the poster that is change to anonymous. Well, they already answered it then I guess this thread is much better if it is locked. You got your answer already so there's no point in repeating the answer.

Those posts are related to accounts that have been "deleted" in the past, whereby deletion caused the account’s related information to be anonymized if the way shown in the captured image. The display does not correspond to a single account, but rather more a bunch of accounts have been historically anonymized in the said way. You can’t therefore, as far as I’m aware, tell one from another (they are tied to userId "0").

<...>Some of those profiles have posts associated to them, and apparently, the way they are managed was by tying (don't know it it is physical or logical) them to a "Guest" profile under the generic username "Anonymous" (see https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.208900 for example), although some still preserved a sort of username (see https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.785785).

There’s this to go by:

Deleting accounts doesn't mess up any threads, like this thread. It just changes to anonymous, with no profile information. Post stays intact.

As you can see here, I only change the username to "Anonymous" on request.

Let me start by saying that the aim of this post is for educative purpose. Actually, I was browsing through the forum when I stumbled on an unusual user with the name "anonymous" without hypertext. There's no information about the account, it has no rank but a guest id or tag beneath the username. There is no information as to when it was created or last signed in. I've tried looking for information here about such an account all to no avail. Please out of curiosity I wish to know why is this account different from every other accounts on the forum?
