I call it a opportunity venturing rather than business since if you just trade it randomly on big or small exchange then most provably you cannot guarantee to earn passive income on it, but if you adopt the changes and create an idea which can help people and insert it with blockchain then maybe you can start to call it business since this can provably generate you an income without even trying to risk your money in certain market movements.
I would say there are business related stuff in crypto as well. I agree that if you are only trading crypto then you are not going to call it a business for simply trading it. However there are exchanges, projects, payment processors, blogs, ranking sites, and MANY online businesses around the world of crypto and we could call them crypto related businesses that people could work in.

This means all those companies also have workers, most of which work remotely and that is why crypto world offers the best chances. You are getting paid in crypto, you are working in your pyjamas at home, and you are making a good amount of money usually as well, especially if you live in a third world nation that gets paid little in regular salary. This is why I believe being a worker in this industry made my life 10x better and I am very happy about it.

It's impressive to see new people keep coming and want to know more about the cryptocurrency world as a whole, google brings new users here to find out what we really should be doing in bitcointalk in particular and cryptocurrencies in general.
Continue to take advantage of this opportunity, learn more sources to expand knowledge, I also want to say welcome to join Bro, this is the most fun discussion place and can provide financial benefits for anyone who has joined, with terms and conditions still valid.

Everyday more faces is coming into cryptocurrency that is good but anything that does not have opposition does not stay long, cryptocurrency have become an open doors to people starting business to survive in the life of the living, I hope crypto world needs to be more attractive.

people starting to business? what kind of business ? i believe that most of people enters crypto specially in Bitcoin wanted to invest and maintain their funds instead of putting in banks.
and also some are entering this forum to gain knowledge on how they can make more money out of crypto.
so meaning this become a training group for many that wanted to extend their profiteering more than physical option.

But there's also a dark side to all this fun, remember that where there's money to make, there's also people that will take advantage and scam people out of their hard earned money. It would be better if there's some precautions before getting into that everyone has to read so they don't fall for scams even if they're newbies.

I don't think it's all about fun but most people feel it's really bitter experience in initial stages. Ignorance, scams, FOMO, speculation etc, makes big trap to many newbies. Many are experience unbearable losses. Different people have different experience so as a newbies we should be aware the basics, selection of coins etc. In my knowledge apart from all these "empiricism" is the key. So trade, invest and make profit but not be a greedy one. Control your emotions when making decisions and always remember "experience makes a person perfect"

Direct to the point and i dont see anything fun or for this word to be that relevant because fun would turn out to be passion afterwards if you do already able to experience on how this market works and what are the things needed for you to sustain at least and this wont really be a simple thing that you would able to commit out.

Just let people come in because as adoption grows bigger then we would see lots of involvement of those who are just new and would find out
for this market to be interesting.

Getting learnings would always vary or matter on your own experiences.

Welcome to this extraordinary forum, you will be taught how to appreciate every opportunity that exists, if you still don't understand crypto, then it's appropriate to find out from the right source, so that when you know the whole thing, you won't take advantage of the conditions of new people. On the other hand, crypto is not only looking for profit, but there is a lot of knowledge that we can take here, for us to apply in real life.

Once again, welcome Broooooo..!!!!

I love that there is a place for both Bitcoin discussion and for price discussion. Most other places mix both up or is heavily on the side of the market. I see nothing wrong with text/forum format. You'd have to be not interested if you only seek visuals.
There is also crypto subreddits that I like but they are more like reading fair news and comments on it, instead of actually discussion. You could start a topic there and ask a question as well if you would like to, there are beginner level places where veterans help the newbies as well, but it is mainly about reading what others are thinking at the time.

Bitcointalk however beats all of them, I feel like there is not enough interest here as much as back in the day (by percentage, numbers definitely went up) because we are now sharing attention with twitter, which became a very heavy crypto place but that just not enough for people and it is just a social media part of the deal, we are still here talking about crypto all day and learning new stuff constantly.

I really feel like reddit's just 90% toxic and nonsense and only 10% useful, I mean unless you actually ask in Newbie/beginner, everywhere else you're going to get super trolled. And so hard for me to waste time digging through 9 pieces of trash to find 1 good stuff.

At least on this forum the mods do quite well, hey I should know I've been deleted and modded before lol, and more and more the overall quality has improved outside altsections.

New people who arrive on reddit just going to end up buying doge. But well, I guess that's still fun:)

There are many other communities yes, and I have to say that some of them even form outside of the internet and are really good at education and useful awareness (or so it seems from what I can read online) but no matter where you look, this forum still beats everything else out there especially if you go to Technical Discussion.

That is pretty much how I found the forum as well, I wanted to find some answers that I had about bitcoin and the results that I got led me to this forum and I still think it is a good source of information, but I think that since then many other communities have formed around the web and people prefer the format in which the information is presented in those websites and this is why we're not getting as much newbies as before despite the incredible bull run that we have gone through during the previous year.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Things have really changed, I remember that back then I found bitcointalk in that way, I just did a Google search and this was the first site that appeared, this show us why we must not trust Google search results as a sign of authority or anything, scammers know very well what they are doing and they will do anything to try to be one of the first results that appear so they can scam more people and get to their money in that way.

I think anyone who joined before the 2017 rally (like me) found this forum as the main site, I don't really remember, but for sure it was the only forum I could join to see answers to questions I asked on Google. These days, people pay to get featured on results. And you only get hits to this forum if you ask something very very particular. Electrum searches still get a lot of relevance I think Smiley

I don't know if it's fun to see new people arrive. The best users and most useful answers are generally still from the older bunch.

Its expected that the most useful answers came from the old members here since in the first place they are the one who experience first about crypto so its automatic that the discussion made by them is somehow intersting since we can learn from them and maybe possible to apply on our selves. For newbie we cannot expect to much since for sure they didn't understand yet om how bitcoin and crypto works.
Not all old members are smart, some of them came in here way back to say bad stuff about crypto as well, or they got interested because they were scammers or whatever bad intentions could be basically. However it is of course expected of them to be smarter about it or at least more knowledgeable about the subject, even a very bad scammer who steals money from people everyday could become very well versed in crypto after so many years, which is why it is understandable that they may give the best answers.

As long as we end up reading and making our conclusions, we could make decisions based on what other people say based on how logical we find what they are saying. If they are saying something stupid that we do not agree with, we should not consider them as right just because they are veterans, they could be veterans and we could be new and I would still prefer my own. I am saying this as someone who has been in crypto for nearly 9 years nowadays.

Oh don't get me wrong I never said I've anything against newcomers, I was just stating my observations about the ones coming to this forum. I of course find new people I really like and enjoy their comments but in general, the ones I look up to are the same ones I looked up to when I first arrived, and those are the original people, here on the forums and outside. Especially as they taught me a lot about Bitcoin and didn't even ever discuss price (unlike now).

Not necessarily it's just about experience. When I first came here, I met people who were only in the industry for a couple of years. The guy who introduced almost every service to me (wallet, exchange, casino) was only in Bitcoin a year before me. But they learned and shared a lot about actual Bitcoin use.

Guys who came in 2018 or later, they're also now 2 or 3 years older but still talking about the same speculation/trading/swapping/defi nonsense and never actually used Bitcoin.

I have no problem with newcomers in this industry because we actually need them.
It means additional crypto users, and that translates to more demand in the market.

The arrival of new people in the market is of course good to see and very crucial also. Because the coming of new people means that the demand will continue to increase at a good pace. And this streamlines the process of adoption and affects the prices of cryptocurrencies also. For example, Bitcoin price can break resistance levels easier than before when people start demanding it at a high rate.

But hopefully, these newcomers should know where to go to avoid being screwed.
Because some of them who got screwed will spread misinformation to the public.
And some of them will quit early once they lost. Getting involved here is not a walk in the park.
And don't expect that you will get rich quick once you touched crypto.

Cryptocurrencies are now on the rise. So, don't be surprised if there are many new people who are competing to join the digital currency who are looking for instant money. As a result, it is not surprising that the price fluctuations of crypto assets are fairly fast. But unfortunately, not everyone fully understands the reasons for investing or trading cryptocurrencies. Mostly, those who are involved in crypto assets are just following the hype without knowing digital assets. Plunging into crypto assets without clear knowledge can trap those who have just joined because if they don't have mature knowledge, they can't control their expectations in investing in crypto.
Yes, recently we have some good rise in cryptocurrency and many new minds joining this community with fresh ideas which are helping to improve features and use case for common peoples and giving good advantage in transparency because now technology is going to be more helpful for humanity in many cases instead of manpower. In recent few months we have some good number of adoptions from many countries which is confidence of peoples and authorities on this mostly they are realizing it's hard to stop this just bring some soft policies and give more sue case for world.

For better use case peoples need to have some knowledge about this because without this they can face some serious difficulties and for this surely we need some good number of educational ways about cryptocurrency.
Not that really hard to understand on how crypto works even if you dont jump into the technical side then with just simply understanding and common sense then you would totally able to understand on how it works

and how it do really benefit out people specially with blockchain technology. We wont really be reaching out this far if there's no sufficient recognition or adoption that happened.

Adoption is on the move and its getting bigger and bigger as the years passed. We had seen countries had legalized bitcoin and integrate. We've seen several big corporations and institutions who had recognized this.
