Yes, now there is a lot of theft, with your identity, I often experience it, indeed the right solution is to send a private message to the manager, then they will know that the account you are using is officially yours,
and the next step you are looking for in a spreadsheet that misuses your account must be removed from participant participation.

The call for bounty participants themselves to be actively seeking out scammers and helping the community manage it with their contributions is a right one, but I wonder,,, is the cause already lost? For every scammer we find, 10 more fill in the gaps. For every tactic and method we discover, they make new ones up. And publicizing the methods for detecting them may actually help scammers avoid detection. So I do not know what the best method is. I prefer just quietly reporting people and seeing them getting banned.

This is not surprising, in recent times a lot of people fraudulently trying to get a reward. They do not want to work honestly, they want to get money for free. I believe that such people need to leave a negative trust.

After a while participating in the bonus campaign, I discovered that some bad guys have used my information to sign up for the bonus. I feel very upset with those people, Why do they take action?. I consider it the act of theft.  I advice, When you participate in bounty campaigns, be sure to update your spreadsheet regularly. In order to talk to the managers about this issue if you encounter.

You do not need to be angry with such guys. I have met this case no less than ten times. Fraudsters always try to steal your personal information, but that only shows that he is a fool. All you have to do is report it to the bounty manager.

My data is also somehow used to register with the company. And several times in one. I wrote about this to the manager. He deleted fake entries.

There are so many case like these happening now and this is one needed to be taken lool closely by the managers so that the rightful participant can get their shares and the cheaters will be eliminate off. So for us to avoid nuisances and other disturbance on participating on the camp thrn maybe we should start to look of the sheets so that we can report if we see someone copying our work or profile.

For now, it is common for articles and youtube, we have to look at spreadsheets more often, if we find plagiarism, just report it to the manager, so the manager will delete it. Because managers who have managed many people cannot see plagiarism.

This is actually the only way on how to get rid of these bad guys on stealing someones works for the benefits on getting paid for the work that they havent done by themselves.
Its not a new thing here on crypto market specially on bounty hunting where there are really people who do like to take advantage as long they havent being caught they would continue
to do things like that and since managers cant perfectly detect these cheaters so the best way is to check out and report them so that they would be removed.

I was participating a lot of campaigns out there, and this happens to me everytime i checked my spreedsheets at the end of the specific campaigns, someone and somebody requested to change the ETH address of my sheets, and the good thing is that after the campaign i regularly check my sheets, and i feel sorry to some other bounties which i have not check, so sorry for me, and lucky for those scammers out there.

Lets be more cautious everytime.

There are thousands of cheaters and imposters in all bounty campaign.
It is not a must that user that you mentioned is cheater. Usually imposters take account and for example article from otgwrs, usung just wallet from them. If you eish to be sure, compair his ETH address with other campaigns he participated to.

Anything will be stolen and enjoyment on the fruits of others' labor. I do not know much about the techniques they steal, I do not appreciate them. And when you find out how you do it best, report it to the owner of the campaign.
This is really unfair, after all your hard works other people will get your reward. Its necessary that you always monitor the spreadsheet of every bounty campaign you are in with so people will not easily cheat on you. A lot of greedy people in this market, even you report them they will still make ways to scam people.

Talk to bounty manager on their telegram group and let hims know about this.

Bounty manager will definitely resolve your problem.
there are several managers who respond, but other managers may be too busy to conduct a thorough examination.
very funny when thieves get stakes and victims are banned for reporting. Grin
this happens and maybe the thief / fraudster feels victory.
Grin It can be said as a lucky thief, but if we can show proof that they are truly thieves, then the Bounty manager will immediately give action. My advice, to avoid content theft and so on, we have to make something that shows the authenticity of the content that we have, such as embedding a name on an article or video.
not all managers want to check it back, I know the manager's work is very much.
maybe one way to avoid thieves is to hide the content link, so thieves can't copy it again.

I have experienced this before but try to read mu suggest and opinions about it.

1. Actually in that kind of situation they are 2 why? Your information like the stupidity is they change the users name a little bit and the address which belongs to your co-participants, sometimes there are rude people who just want to do something. Base on my experiences that happend 2 times.Thinking about it, it just a person who is jokingbor kidding around who changes your name a little and direct the link to your and changes it address.

If you know the name on the person who, report it link the heavy proof.

2. You are the victim here is which exact user names and link is yours to be honest that is a pist off for me. In this situation they are really taking advantages of the situation so younrelly need to act fast and repost to you manager because you might not get the reward/payment for that.

You should report to the bounty manager about the guy that use your information. I think it because he/she want to take your stake in the campaign instead of working by himself/herself. But I don't think it could work because at the end of week or end of the campaign, BM will double check the stake and notice the duplicate information.

This happens quite regularly, and I also have been a victim, where somebody used my account user name and even my Telegram username. That made me stop my old Telegram account and to this day I don't use it anymore.

It was my mistake a long time ago to submit details on a public spreadsheet. So any bounty participants now please take note: if the spreadsheet is public and reveals things like email or username on Telegram, just avoid it. You'll get so much spam later on.

Reporting it can be helpful too, so do your part if you see your name abused.

Most users here are posting and advising OP to report to the manager but if we read between the lines, you would see that the message therein is advising we users not to fall in the mistake he had already made. That we should check spreadsheet often so as to see if anything went wrong with our wallet address and report, rather posters are writing as if to warn OP on what to do.

The solution from the post therefore, is for we to be careful and always have a check on spreadsheet to know if it correspond with our wallet address before payment is made.

It takes much effort to get through a bounty and support a nice project you believe in to the end. But most times merited rewards are stolen. And I fell the pain when I hear such stories. And That’s peculiar with video articles. Bounty managers should get a means of curbing this activity. The first person submitting the video should be taken. Also you can add your bounty username to the video description to show it belongs to you.
May our effort be rewarded

You can take action by reporting it to the bounty manager.
you can also have yourself safe by putting your ERC-20 wallet address on your profile.
any wallet you want to use on your campaign must be on your profile.
so you can claim the payment on your wallet address.

i think that is very bad for someone to most have used your details to fills his work, well to me i have witness such things even before i could register those project i will see my details on the spreadsheet, so sometimes i began to imagine if really i have partaken of those project before but i won't see my address because to any wallet i m using is already known by me.

but all my fear is that i would like a situation whereby i will given Red trust because my details have been going round even before you could participate on those projects.

Just report that to your manager if you found someone is abusing and acting as your impostor. Managers that has been managing a lot of campaigns can barely see those abuse unless you are the one that is checking the spreadsheet and noticed that person who used your info.
