No be small change, na big change for that matter and as e dey be, e good make everyone better hurry join Bitcointalk because e go really change people life a lot although e no really dey easy to work for here but we go dey try our best, because even me dey still dey learn here and ever since I enter this forum, I don really learn a lot o, na only dat merit matter dey hard me, but I believe say one day God go really help me for this forum but the idea wey this forum give me about Bitcoin really dey help me and e dey make me dey feel special for wer other people wey no understand am, so we go still dey create more awareness because Bitcoin go make the whole world a better place.

Na true talk we dey talk o o  alot of people dey know about Bitcoin now e dey spread like wild fire because dem dey see the impact for Bitcoin people life and e no dey stress dey as Bitcoin coin don save people for we country dis year mouth no fit talk am,na him make people wan follow wetin dem dey talk about Bitcoin  ,if to say our government fit accep am for we country e for make life easy for citizens because if no be Bitcoin  wey save us dis year alot of person for suffer well well ,poverty no for get part 2 for we country. una know self sey even our big men dem dey investment for Bitcoin secretly , the thing wey I think say make them no want accept Bitcoin be say dem no want the youths to rub shoulders for moni aspect, dem feel say boys no go loyal again to dem make dem dey use dem for their politics and any other things wey dem Wanda for their benefit, so make we dey pray to God e go hear our prayers. 

I don see skit video wey dey talk about bitcoin mostly the cartoon comedy, all this videos dey promote bitcoin and dey create awareness but some people after watching the video they will not even care to make research and some dey when them hear new word for video them dey curious to learn about that word, we no fit just say skit video wey dey talk about bitcoin go promote the adoption of bitcoin, some people no even care about the amazing features of bitcoin

The thing with celebrities them dey like show off so even if they want to create bitcoin awareness for Nigeria them go do am in a big way flaunting with huge amount of money and fans wey no get that amount of money go just back off  but unknowingly to them say any amount you fit use invest and no be must to invest with huge amount.

Na di true tok be dat. Many people dey take everything as a joke when them see am in a comic books or skirts. And unknown to them be say, many things na true tok. Till now many no know say Bitcoin na for digital currency which can be used to pay thing and pay for service. In Nigeria there are two groups of people that using Bitcoin very well and they are the youths and the politicians.

The youth is using Bitcoin has an investment while the politicians are using it to hide their national stolen funds but the civil servants are not interested to invest in Bitcoin because they not aware and haven't enough money nto invest because after paying bills with their salaries, everything is gone.

Well, there are other bunches of comic stuff on social media than Bitcoin, but it's really cool that Bitcoin has to also be advertised in such a way, because it at least gives the viewers a little idea of what Bitcoin is, and those who get more curious can make more inquiries, although when it comes to comedy, some people usually take everything for a joke and forget to realize the important information in the comedy. But according to some statistics, I know that in Nigeria, there are lots of crypto enthusiasts, which means that the knowledge of Bitcoin is really dominating, and people are channeling their investment into Bitcoin as long as they know that it's a fund they want to hold for a long time.

Well me I no day suprised at all because bitcoin don trend well well both as the positive side and also as the negative side. Bitcoin used as the highlight of a show is not common anymore as  e dey everywhere and na watin still dey make many people even know wella set. Just which day I hear ma uncle wey no sabi anything for internet sef dey talk about bitcoin when him see people use am dey pay for something for the movie wey him watch.

Na so e supposed to be. E nor go they anymore when we hear person call Bitcoin e nor go be lie new thing. Although now Sha for the country when we hear Bitcoin we Sabi the first picture wey go come out mind. One of the tins wey I believe say go help to push the awareness of Bitcoin wella for our country na if e get small backing from the government. I nor mean say make Dem make am legal tender but make Dem make CBN remove the ban wey Dem put. That one go help wella.

The awareness dey spread normally but the hostile behavior of the Nigerian government towards Bitcoin and the uniform man towards those into cryptocurrency is what's holding us back because all this awareness just dey waste as adoption no dey move forward. What's the point of awareness if we no dey see adoption. Na only for skits wey we dey see people use Bitcoin buy something, we no fit see dem do am physically because as you start na so so fraudulent allegations go dey come ur side. Dem fit say you dey help yahoo boys as picker just as dem dey label crytpo traders as pickers. We need to move from social media to reality or we still dey waste our time. If you look well self those skits wey dey feature bitcoin dey mostly related to yahoo boys cashing out.


Na be lie sha all this skits dem dun help in some way push the awareness of bitcoin to the masses and as more people dey hear about bitcoin from those types of video e dey help many Nigerian youths get something to do for their self but one thing I no like na all those mumu exchange dem wey dis skits makers dey sabi advertise. Some self no get website na Instagram handle you go go trade and this people fit scam you and you no go get any better proof or dem go use poor rate finish you meanwhile when dey buy from you finish dem go go sell higher on Binance or other exchange dem.

The way Bitcoin is spreading is shocking because if you go to the street and then do a survey on people asking if they have heard about Bitcoin the response will shock you, and if you listen to most of the songs that musicians sing you will know that bitcoin is going viral and spreading like fire.  and the information started from the internet and other means are dedicated to sharing the word which is good just that we should make sure what we are sharing corresponds with the truth. And the way the word is spreading the embracement of Bitcoin is also increasing which is the goal.

OP, it’s interesting that such continues to happen online and people are already making use of it to make skit, I’m happy with the level of awareness bitcoin is getting these days. One thing is for sure, when something is trending, comedians, actors/actresses, musicians tend to use them for their craft more to get the attention of people to their content at that moment. This shows how important bitcoin has influenced the society and the need of it that it is been used for making online videos already.

I just checked the Facebook video, and truly I go talk say I see nothing new that has never been done before, because asking someone for a BTC wallet address to send him/her some coin na one thing wey don dey happen since, and eh still dey happen everyday for this we country 9ja. But however, I understand how O.P must have felt to see BTC which he/she just got introduced to been promoted by content creators, which have always been the main promoters of Bitcoin within and outside the country from day one on all social media platforms. So it's okay for newbies when they see Bitcoin been promoted outside the regular Bitcoin environment to be excited, which I'm sure that's how O.P must have felt.

You have a point mate because I have seen so many celebrities advertising deferent crypto exchanges even when they have not use it before, you no most of the crypto exchanges look for those celebrities that has many followers to advertise for them, that's one of the strategies most crypto exchanges use to get people, and in most cases the people fall victims, I could have been a victim of that, when I saw one celebrity advertising one crypto exchange like that I was thrilled to enter thinking that is actually going to work the same way they are advertising, so lucky enough someone that has tried it before told me not to join so that I will not loose my money

I believe they only use the funny part of the skit to make it the start of what they want people to be aware of, and that is why they use the skit to draw people's attention at first, and they will watch till the end and see that they use bitcoin as a payment method, which will give those people an idea to start their own research about bitcoin to know more about it in order to use it too, because it’s a means of making payments without any third parties.

However, you know there is something behind all this social media advertising. As good as it is, there is also a bad side of it, which is advertising fake exchanges that we don’t know about, so I will encourage everyone who sees a new thing talking about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to try to DYOR before using it to avoid being scammed.

Bitcoin is actually leading on social media because our celebrities, comedians and skit makers are sharing some doing some advert related to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency which is good, but also have a bad side.

Most of them are advertising crypto exchanges that pay them for advert even if they did not use it for once, and you our Nigerians can follow people blindly which in some extent can get someone scammed if they did not have proper knowledge about the entire Bitcoin and cryptocurrency process.

Nevertheless, I am always happy because so many people are getting involved into Bitcoin which is a good one because adoption is what we are always hoping for so that we can both benefit from Bitcoin.

That thing wey make Naija government begin create their own CBDC means say no be news on bitcoin matter. Local television stations dey call experts dey come talk bitcoin and cryptocurrency market and that means even the people wey no dey online dey hear about am. Naija na the most active population here, for binance and globally you no fit talk bitcoin users make you leave out Naija. So this means say we dey everywhere dey follow bumper to bumper even social media self but make we dey careful not to expose our self to scam because yahoo guys dem also dey use bitcoin investment scam people.

No be only social media self bit if you listen to some if our local artist their songs, them too dey use bitcoin sing because I don hear one guy wey dey sing say him get all the currency and bitcoin dey him wallet. Bitcoin novbe no thing again for we country na just say the way Emefiele react that time to crypto make the use pipe down a little so that make users first dey coded. I don even watch one home video wey them mention bitcoin too. I believed say in no time the talk to bitcoin go be like rice and beans for we country. For my hood the teens them dey even use the word bitcoin dey hype themselves.

Out of sight na out of mind, so any how wey people fit to take spread di awareness of bitcoin, weda na tru digital or physical means de welcomed. After I join dis forum and i come see the benefits of di decentralized coin, I de try in my own little ways to de create di awareness. I put a sign in front of my shop say customers fit to make payments with bitcoin, Aldo no customer don pay me with di coin yet, but at least dem and passersby de see di small signboard everyday.

Bitcoin na di way forward now and in di future to de take make transactions, because en no get restrictions like fiat. So na a matter of time, di awareness and acceptance go reach every corner of di world.

 To create awareness about something no dey take only one shape else e go dey boring and fit no get the outreach wey bin dey originally planned so e no suppose shock you, Op. Them say the best way to spread gossip nah to use the pattern of "tell a friend to tell a friend" , and while the government of the day dey use all their might to stem the growth and widespread adoption of Bitcoin by introducing strident rules and even passing out FUD, people still dey make use of the media to counter their efforts.
 Even if no be everybody wey go start to use BTC dey pay for goods and services, at least I believe say time dey come when nah majority of the population go use.

Op this is not the first time bitcoin has been mentioned in TV show, comedy skirts, and movies or videos. We have seen enough of that. There are threads like this in the English boards but that can not withstand, since you don bring come here we go still put our mouths. When you tok of di bitcoin awareness social media nai dey carry am for head and not even TV show or comedy skirts. Bitcoin dey spread rapidly very well in all angles.

And after social media na be humans. People dey propagate the news of bitcoin to relatives, friends and others. For we taking Bitcoin as di payment method na don remain now, and I don't think bitcoin go realized dat side of it invention.

This night I came across a comedy on Facebook and this comedy was too funny to my linking but I am not here to talk about the funny side of the comedy but the main reason why I chose to bring it up to bitcointalk.org is because they used Bitcoin as a payment method on the comedy, although it might be just acting to some persons but to me it not because it shows that the awareness of Bitcoin is going viral on social media.
In this video is just like someone needing the help of a neighbor and the neighbor was asked to call his BTC (Bitcoin) address so he can get paid for his service, if you are interested to watch this is the link to the video, on this video I come in conclusion that the awareness of BTC (Bitcoin) is spreading rapidly in the society through the help of the social media and some celebrity investors too, firstly I dropped a thread about some Nigerian celebrity investors. and now another one on board.
