SWC is long running and has a very decent player base. The site owner is also very well known and has proven to be trustworthy for a few years.
There is a site on ipoker network which accepts BTC as deposit you could argue this is the best one since the network is so huge.

I wouldn't really call this site a poker site, there are no Bets, It's all based on chances here, no bluffing.

Seals with clubs probably has the most players but as mentioned betcoinpoker is richer poker, It has even 1500 BTC tournament comming and It is much newer than seals. So yes I would suggest choosing between those 2.
I play on both seals and BetcoinPoker. Seals has good ring player volume and BetcoinPoker has a wide variety of tournaments and sng's where you could really win big. I have placed a few times in several of their Big 10 tourneys and from what I am seeing the player pool is very soft in the tourneys and sng's because you are not playing against only bitcoin poker players.
Sealswithclub is the pest poker site it has many active players playing all day and night

what is your actual level of poker experience? Freerolls are a common way to test a poker site. 
Depends what you want. If cash games are your thing then seals is the best choice at this point.
