In my opinion if you want to earn profit by consistently from crypto trading futures on Bitmex platform will be much better use maximum 5 times leverage and not more. Price action of crypto already in high volatility with high risk and with 5 times leverage the level risk and the potential profit will multiple 5 times again. If you use more than 5 times leverage , i think you will do betting or gambling, and gambling will not promising consistent profit.

I spent hours calculating how much I must to invest using leverage to earn this or that amount. I got nervous.
I realized that it is so complicated as we invest with X leverage in Bitcoin futures but we still keep Bitcoins! What is more if you invest using altcoin futures (for example Bitcoin Cash or Ripple (XRP) you just bet which crypto will be better between these two: BTC and XRP. In this case when you take long XRP/XBT but BTC drops 10% but XRP drops 5% you still earn 5% * your leverage as you are betting RATIO XRP VS BTC! (10-5=5)

Finally, I did not give up Bitmex trading and I prepared huge advanced calculator for Bitcoin and XRP (Ripple).
Bitmex calculator for Bitcoin looks like this: https://imgur.com/gallery/cLgNcB4 and for XRP is almost the same. All in one excel spread sheet.

Maniplulating 4 blue cells value: (entry, close, leverage and quantity) you can calculate everyting at Bitmex including margin, cost, liquidation price, fees and rabates (to know how will be your bankroll before you execute an order). For alctoins there is 6 blue cells to edit as we have to add BTC price as well.

Now I exactly know how much I earn in BTC, in USD if price change 1$ or 1%.... I am chilled and relaxed. I found the best leverage is always close to 5-10x (for me)
Here is link to instruction how to use this excel caclulator https://www.ministryofmargintrading.com/tools-bitmex-calculator-download

Maybe later I will be charging for using this calculator 1$ in BTC Cheesy first I would like give it for free to get feedback. For me is more easy to use than Bitmex' one.
Please help me improve it, tell what do you need more what is good what is eventually wrong.
