The best mining equipment is that which be delivered soon, or in Two Weeks!

I hear they have less than 1% failure rate.  Zomg! Shocked

The best mining equipment is the one that will be built next year.
Seriously there isn't any miner with a fair price that will make you rich.
This to the nth degree.  Mining is no way to get rich vs. simply buying and holding imho.

Now that people are dumping their old gpus, whats the next transition in hardware . . What do miners have their eye on? gridseed, multicore gpus, or what?

SP30 miner Smiley Best power consumption (less than 0.5W/GH)

Many have destroyed their reputations here promising power consumption figures for non-existent hardware.

I have been here long enough to learn from others mistakes and also to learn how to stay away from fake promises.

Typical end user like you shouldn't worry about the hardware,  have to look at the charts and monitor the equipment to profit. Read about cloud mining and GAWMiners.

nothing.  if you believe the bitcoin price is going to go up, buy bitcoins.

the only ASICs you can buy for the last year or so, sell for 300%++ the value they should.   too many ignorant people out there

(the new scrypt ASICs are insanely overpriced as well)
