This post is pretty hilarious. This gives me lots of laughs. I'll bookmark this for fun. Is this how freedom of speech works in the United States?

I only think positively about what he did, of course, he cannot get the bitcoin analysis itself which might be given by a competent advisor to Bitcoin. what is important is whether bitcoin will have an impact on his words, actually that's the most important thing

Are you a bot? This looks like something a bot would say. Not a very good one too.

People who knows a lot more better than he does when it comes to cryptocurrency's full potential and are seeing the reality that US Dollar is much more degrading than any other FIAt in the world.

It's not, at least not according to analytical data. If you think US Dollar is bad, go to Venezuela.

Even if bitcoin was used to initiate the illegal trades at the end of the day it will be sent out to US dollars or any other FIAT currencies. Good thing about social media tho is when Trump tries to degrade bitcoin. People who knows a lot more better than he does when it comes to cryptocurrency's full potential and are seeing the reality that US Dollar is much more degrading than any other FIAt in the world.

Twitter is always full of fun. The discussions are always intriguing, I sometimes read tweets to release stress. Trump has always maintained his opinion on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as a whole but cryptocurrencies is still thriving. Let's allow things to unfold and at the right time his qualms on crypto would be nullified after all he can't be president forever.

LOL this guy!
Very smart tweet to accuse Craig Wright but still there are many people who don't know about Bitcoin and the story of Craig Wright and it can bring confusion to the newbies.

This is fantastically good respond and the reply to the tweet by most of the crypto enthusiast is epics and sound more intelligent than any of the comments made against bitcoin so far. This has really made my day and affirmation to me to keep holding bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

The revolution will be monetized!
I tweeted that it is worse than he knows. We are just starting to destroy the banking cabal known as the federal reserve. There is really nothing they can do about it. We are to powerful now. Even if the U.S. declared it illegal I would not be detoured.  I would just move to Singapore and vacation in the states. The Earth is my home, not the USA.

... and then you win.  Wink

He's the head of the country.

You expect him to say, oh, our own currency USD is not so good, Bitcoin is best ?!

You expect him to say, Bitcoin is the future, convert all your USD to bitcoins and crypto?!

And he's right in many ways. Crypto can be used to evade taxes. It can be used to send money to fund drug and terrorism stuffs much more easily.

You can send a drug lord money via crypto in a safe way rather sending him with PayPal, or Western Union or other traditional methods.

He just highlighted the negative points, and ignored the positives that blockchain and crypto can bring!

But bashing him only because he highlighted the negative aspects is not a way to go. He's a noob who needs more learning.

I'm not a crypto critic, am a fan of it, but I know why Trump would have said such statements. It maybe also possible that he's trying to make btc price less to invest himself Tongue

Great compilation. Big fan of this whole thing.

I think it's funny that there is a certain portion of the US that is learning about a new currency option through Trump, so they can do their own research and such. The people that already hate BTC are going to continue to hate BTC, there's no way to convince them since there are tons of people on CNBC, WSJ, CNN, Fox, etc that have already told them that BTC is for drug trades and that it is horrible for people.

The only people we can convince are the people that that are already skeptical about banks, and hate their banks and the BS fees they charge. The people that are fed up with the current system. There are tons of those sorts of people.

It's the same old fud and misinformation based on ignorance, but I don't understand how anyone with even an iota of intelligence can say all these cliched negative things about bitcoin time and time again, especially regarding bitcoin's use in illegal activities and so forth. Did the 9/11 hijackers finance their terrorism with bitcoin? Does El Chapo only accept bitcoin in exchange for cocaine? Do ISIS only pay their soldiers in bitcoin? Nope. All cash. Or mostly. I'm sure he's had some advisors or memo from the fed or banks that he should come out and denounce bitcoin but any argument people use to try smear bitcoin the same logic could and should be applied to fiat.

It is interesting how his supporters that own crypto have gone quiet over this. Looks like their great leader is not that great after all.

So many people hate Trump that his best angle would be to not mention bitcoin at all.  He is just going to encourage more people to buy bitcoin because they want to do the opposite of what he says.

I like the tweet of Junko Suzuki. How amazing that she had sold her condo with a lot of bitcoin and now it's sitting on a good position with millions of profits.

I guess that Trump is solely aware of it and he's trying to discourage people to get in. The big personalities have replied to that famous tweet of Trump about bitcoin, it's getting exciting of what will be his next tweet about bitcoin.

Donald Trump on Twitter:

You probably know that Donald Trump made a few tweets about bitcoin. There were many interesting reactions and comments on that. Here are some of the best replies:

Trump aim is not to ban bitcoins but his main objective is to stop Libra coin, which he feels can become a direct rival to USD. There has been no comment from Mark on this matter so far, but Federal Reserve Chairman Mr. Powell has put Libra under a tight spot with his comments. While those comments have hurt Libra I feel it has taken attention away from bitcoin because he considers bitcoin a commodity, hence there’re chances the government won’t add any restrictions on bitcoins.

Those are some nice responses. I don't expect him to fully understand the inner workings of crypto (maybe he haven't really researched about it that much, gonna give him the benefit of the doubt). But I really expected someone would call him out about the supposed criminal links.

In the past, bitcoin was pretty much the only crypto so it follows that it's going to be used by criminals but these same criminals could have also done it with cash. They could have used cash for the cannibalism fetish. They could have used cash to order their brides. Etc.
