That depends on a few factors (eg. Where are you located? Do you mind submitting personal info? etc).

If you are in the US and don't mind submitting your personal info, Coinbase is pretty easy to use. You just need to get verified and link your bank account with your Coinbase account, and you will be able to buy or sell bitcoin easily.
If you want to make p2p or f2f trades, you can use localbitcoins, or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 (use escrow and only trade with trusted people).

1a> What do you think is the best site for buying Bitcoin online and offline too?
Coinbase assuming you set it up in advance to needing it.

1b> What are the advantages /disadvantages or each?
Disadvantage they require knowing who you are due to laws.  Some people don't like this and use localbitcoins because of this.
1c> Any unusual ways?
If its "unusual" i would stay away.  Go with well known ways.

What do you mean by unusual ways?

You can buy coins directly with miners. Good if you want to do bulk purchases.

Not sure if there is a black Bitcoin market to sell bitcoins.

Just stick to localbitcoins. I always buy and sell there. They have escrow and we can search nearby seller or buyer around our place there

More I'm reading about it, more I'm sure I will use localbitcoins... even if I have to drive for a while to meet someone :-)

If you wanted to buy offline you could arrange to meet someone through localbitcoins and exchange cash for coins. No paper trail then. You can also buy coins on the marketplace here. Just create a thread offering your options.

better everyday ♥
Online: Coinbase and Circle

Offline: LocalBitcoins or right here in the forum with a Trusted Hero/Legendary member and Trusted Hero/Legendary escrow.

That should be all you need at the moment.

Nothing unusual for me but Localbitcoin works well for me thus far. If I don't feel secure about not seeing who I'm dealing with and whether I can trust the guy, I'll set up an appointment to meet up with him

i recently made a transaction using belgancoin. just bought some btc paying in euros and everything went smooth. It took 1 1/2 day for the transaction to complete.

Cons: you don't have anonymity since you have to transfer the money from your bank account.

Pros: Fast & smooth, especially for european buyers/sellers.

The best way for me personally has been both Circle and Coinbase. If you attach a bank account and credit card, you can buy a good amount of BTC instantly.

Very convenient imo

I got an interesting email from BitCasino.io...    I've played poker there and had no problems withdrawing bitcoins

A little off topic, hope you guys don't mind.
About poker, are there any micro games available, playing for Satoshi....
What is the minimum amount to open poker account with them?
Ahh, do they have freeroll tournaments?
I definitely need to check into this :-)

AKA The Rubber Monkey
I've sold bitcoin using locabitcoins and am very satisfied with all my transactions.

I got an interesting email from BitCasino.io claiming that you can deposit fiat and they will turn it into bitcoins for you. This is so you can play in their casinos, but I don't see why you can't just turn around and withdraw the bitcoins. I've played poker there and had no problems withdrawing bitcoins, so this sounds like an interesting alternative possibility.

If anybody has tried this, please let me know. I'm curious to hear if everything went well.

I tend to use localbitcoins secured ESCROW quality sellers, very fast transaction and release time.

Localbitcoins is always a good choice but where are you from?

Im located in Europe and not a high volume trader, but I was very satisfied with localbitcoins as all of my trades went smooth.  Once i have used a btc-e but now there is to much issues about so better avoid them. I was not able to pass bitstamp authorization, otherwise would possibly use them but now most used is bitstock (mainly because they support my national currency and EUR).Also thinking about cex.
Regarding US users I heard the best is coinbase but can't judge.

1b
Localbitcoins:
A - Worldwide (lots of currencies), quick registration & trade, safe (when using good ranked traders)
D - usually higher price (and lower for sellers) then other exchanges

Bitstock:
A - safe (sending and receiving bitcoins to own address), quick deposit (instant when using given bank),
D - only CZK and EUR, not so many traders

this forum "Market section" , use an escrow
buy a physical wallet with bitcoins (silverwallet...)
ATMs
use money to buy stuff and sell it for BTC

and if you are looking for very unusual way to get out just donate some charity, faucet or make a giveaway thread.

BTW good idea, Im looking forward other opinions.
