I understand that we have many ways of making our products to be known across other countries without going from one country to another country, internet has already made thing's easier to humans.

This following are the major way or criteria for companies or newly established companies such as private and government sectors to create awareness of their products, materials in their countries and also cross other countries as stated above.

Keep in mind that it depends on what you are trying to do. There are projects that are much popular in this or that platform. Basically, you must target your audiences as well. If you want clients that are much onto crypto, then this forum is for you. If you want clients that are more onto social media, then use social media as well. If you want those practical people that still reads newspapers and watch television, then use it as well. Simple, everything that is worse way in making an announcement was doing it was other way around. Would you use bitcointalk to get clients when your project isn't related to crypto?

Having said that, I personally don’t like social media at all (say someone with over 5,6k posts here), but I do think that the forum could find a way to interleave with them in a beneficial way, understanding how a large part of the world’s population communicates nowadays through these channels (as opposed to a forum style, which is rather different).
On social media, people often share images, status, tweets and funny videos. I rarely see social media users write a long and thoughtful status (on Facebook). Twitter has short character limitations for tweets. There are good Facebook status but those users and those status are not commonly to see.

It is caused by the social media origins. Why Mark Zurkerberg created Facebook years ago? I think Facebookers use Facebook in the way Mark want.

Bitcointalk is noticeable. And that's the reason why most of the projects are not forgetting to publish their announcements here.

Although, there are also other several media and channels where they can publish their announcements publicly. But it's best to prioritize the forum first as published here is free and a lot of traffic is going in and out.

Having said that, I personally don’t like social media at all (say someone with over 5,6k posts here)

Participating on the forum is quite different from other Media, I spend a lot of time on twitter but don't have as much posts as I do on the forum. The engagement, interaction and must recent feature from one of the third party providers (bot) that gives me notification took the engagement a little step further as it made the interaction more enjoyable due to the fact, I don't have to manually search for users that quoted me to respond to. Don't get why the forum doesn't have that feature yet.

OP just as others have mentioned, I don't think there's a universal approach that could guarantee you success with advertising of your new product, some will do well if you make use of online medias while others will do well either through physical promotion or traditional means that involves buying of ad slots on media networks.

It's left for the project to determine which medium would best suit its advertisment. Although just as you have highlighted, the internet has made things easier but you still have to choice among the numerous social media out there. Personally I'll go for twitter as If you're capable of hiring influencers then your product would be heard by millions of customers but still that doesn't guarantee millions of patronage.

<…> the reason while i listed all these is because of I noticed that bitcointalk exist through Twitter, i registered and today I'm here, so if people can notice bitcointalk through Twitter its applicable to other social media.
What I’d be interested to know is the context in which you found about Bitcointalk on Twitter. I mean the honest to God context, simply out of curiosity.

Nothing can beat Bitcointalk for project announcement, if the project is really legit and with good potential, it's good that they launch their announcement here, they will get a lot of support, projects that looks scam and with intention to scam people will not get a support here in fact they will be tagged here negatively and will get negative reviews.

You can open your [Wanted] Service announcement on Sevices. You will receive applications from community for your announcement threads. Applications will come from good and bad users. You have to choose good up to best applications.

Announcement threads when are created by reputable members can help you increase attention and traffic but because they are reputable members, they will investigate your project before they accept your offer.

You probably learnt of Bitcointalk on Twitter through an unofficiall means as the official account is not very active. I have gotten back links to this forum when browsing other platforms like Reddit, Bitcoinstackexchange and some other websites. So, yes, it is applicable to other websites.
As a new project dev, you'll likely not get backlinks to your site as it is relatively unknown, so all the buzz you create would be generated from you using the website which is most fitting to the product you are marketing and also where you are likely to get your target audience. The other platforms can be used to create hype and lead back to the original publication.

For example;
• You announce an ICO on this forum with all information about the project ~ because it is most fitting here.
• To create more hype, you can run bounty campaigns on Facebook, Twitter and telegram to promote the project leading people to the thread on bitcointalk ~ because some of your target audience may be on those websites.
• All promotions would ultimately lead back to your website, where readers turn to investors.

try to follow the advice given by the person below.

Just explain your ICO:
  • What will your blockchain/coin/token do? What are the use cases?
  • How does it solve a problem or why is it better than existing solutions?
  • Information about ICO: Start, end, caps, prices/stages and how to buy
  • Technical information about the coin: type (e.g. ERC20 token, X11 algo, POS, POW, etc), blocksize and time, premine, max coins
  • Roadmap, future of coin, how long can investors expect to wait until your platform is launched
  • Social media links (official website, github, twitter, telegram, discord, possibly medium, steemit, facebook) - it is important to have contact people during the ICO in case investors need support or have questions
  • Any bounty, airdrop, translations, etc.

If you want you can hire a professional writer from Services subtopic and a graphics designer to improve the appearance of your ANN topic.

Topic: Tips on writing Announcement

Topic: What methods to use to promote the project?

And try to see some of the suggestions conveyed by several other people in developing your company through social media in the Bitcointalk forum.

Maybe you can take some of the methods in the above topic that have been suggested in that topic.

There are many things to be consider before you open your public announcement for a project.

- Do you have a good manager for channels on which you make announcements?
- You have to have your ideas on channels you are good at (in aspect of management capability of your internal teams or of manager you will hire to run it).
- Customers of your company, who are they? You need to know their favorite channels.

The forum is the old (not oldest) but biggest forum in bitcoin and crypto. If your project is good, you need to make an annoucement thread here. If your project is scam, you should not because your account will be painted (red) and DT members will open flags, scam accusations on your scam project.

Scam projects will be wiped out very fast by community here.
