Perhaps the devs just want to make a quick buck off of the publicity Musk gave bitcoin. And to counteract the expected uprise in people who would want to test their mining platform. They wanna make sure they can only accomodate people that their system can accommodate, at least that's my speculation.

If it’s true then it’s true. They only have a certain number of coins to sell. For every seller there's a buyer & every dip seems to be getting bought up quickly. We’re going to the moon this year any way so more fool them if they’re selling lots this early.

ah there has to be more to it.

The facts are there, F2pool dumped massive amounts of Bitcoin
enough to move the value of Bitcoin down.

As soon as the Elon Musk tweet happened they sold 14,000 Bitcoin

CryptoQuant CEO Ki-Young Ju listed a series of bearish alerts he received when Bitcoin started plunging on early Friday. As per the data he provided, the Miners’ Position Index went above 2.5, reflecting growth in Bitcoin units that miners moved from their wallets. Meanwhile, the CryptoQuant’s All Exchange Bitcoin Transaction Count Inflow surged, showing F2pool as a major BTC depositor.

anyway, there is no law or regulations to say they cannot do that
and we have seen before whales dumping.

this is an obvious FUD that simply is created because the FUD creator thinks he has seed a big bitcoin movement on chain and is trying to convince others that the other end (the receiver) is the exchange where those coins were dumped and crashed the price.
basically this FUD comes out each time we make a rise, this time it is attributed to some mining pool but usually they jut pick a random large bitcoin transfer from that day (ignoring all the other days with same or bigger transactions) and call that a "dump".

It is revealed that the F2pool mining sold off 14,000BTC per daym

I got bored after 6..
The graph he is constantly pushing forward is one that starts coins movement out of the wallets, it doesn't track coins hitting exchanges and getting sold, and btw, no graph and no stat in the world will be able to tell you that.

Besides, as Wind_FURY pointed out.
Unlike other pools that are closed for individual users, F2pool is not, we even have topics on it here and there are still users mining there so there is no such entity that controls all those coins. When they split the reward and send it to miners you have no way of tracking every single of those coins and for certain not all miners will cash in at the same time and rush their coins at the same time on an exchnge.

One more thing, these miners are dumping and crashing the price conspiracy has been played well too many times without answering the basic question. Why the hell would they do that?

It is proven! F2pool made the sale, it happened

The host of the article registered an account with CryptoQuant
to get the statistics, of the top 5 miners F2pool were the only
ones who made such a giant sell off.

Why is this FUD?

Quote
1. Does the pool have the same address as the miners? I believe, no.
2. Those are not the pool’s coins. Did the ALL the participating miners authorize F2Pool’s sell order?

Dont know, does it matter?

For me, it does. I want to know if the sell orders are authorized by the participating miners, or if F2Pool is acting on their own without authorization by the real owners of those coins.

The only thing that cannot be answered is "Why?"

OP, that’s FUD until further research proves that the pool is indeed the seller.

Questions,

1. Does the pool have the same address as the miners? I believe, no.
2. Those are not the pool’s coins. Did the ALL the participating miners authorize F2Pool’s sell order?

Well thats the thing, it doesnt happen often at all.
This coupled with the events of last week with WSB and Elon Musk's Tweet
the timing is suspicious, Its only a theory after all...

There are a couple of ways to Short Bitcoin, Futures Contracts and Margin Trades.
There are probably more but I'm not a trader so cannot say.

Actually Investopedia list 5 ways to Short Bitcoin

Margin Trading
Futures Market
Binary Options Trading
Prediction Markets
Short-Selling Bitcoin Assets

BITCOIN SELL-OFF EXPOSED - GUILTY PARTY REVEALED AND WE NEED TO STOP IT!!!

It is revealed that the F2pool mining sold off 14,000BTC per daym right after the
Elon Musk Twitter event. This is totally irregular compared with their regular
Bitcoin outflows.

The host George makes a very interesting theory as to why there was a massive
sell off on the days following the EM musk tweet and the consequences that tweet
had on Bitcoin Futures.

His main theory after a lot of research is that F2Pool mining possibly had Bitcoin
shorted and was able to counteract the price rise after the Tweet by selling off
such a massive amount to drive the price down triggering their short sells and then
be in a position to buy back what they sold.

I snatched this chart from cointelegraph, it shows as per the video the increased
miners outflow just as Bitcoin crossed $38,000

We have all been asked or have asked at some point "why is the price going down?"
against the logical trend, well this is a very plausable reason.

Very interesting Vid, 27minutes long.
