Definitely recommend - great cast and GREAT that a movie is being done about this fiasco.  Hopefully some will see it and start asking important questions of what is going on around them.

I've heard only good things about the movie, but you always have to be concerned with Hollywood adopting a movie based on true events. Real life is never as entertaining as the movies, so factual liberties are always taken to make the narrative more compelling.

I haven't seen it yet, I think I will wait for the dvd, i've been told is a great movie specially as a Bitcoiner.
Sure I could get it as a screener but the image quality is horrible. Im in "collect all btc possible" mode and im saving on all expenses that aren't totally crucial and unfortunately going to the cinema doesn't fall under this category, but I can't wait to see it. I will see it sooner or later but it has to be for free lol.

Screener wasn't bad. Considering it's not an imagery based movie I didn't really care. Sci Fi and visual movies I'll wait though.

Just watched The Big Short. What did you think of it?

These guys weren't the only ones predicting a housing crisis. Ron Paul, Peter Schiff and others. Though they were focused on the Fed instead of the CDOs, but I do recall plenty of bubble talk as the housing prices rose. I even thought myself that there were probably a lot of people with ARMs (my banker was pushing this on me and all of my coworkers were getting them) and when the rates go up...these people might not be able to pay their mortgages.

At the end they hinted that the same thing is starting to happen again, basically making the banks look like shit. Overall a good representation of what was going on at the time. I wonder if it will encourage Wall Street folks to start shorting the market.

I will watch it too, it seems interesting ..
