I'm not talking about software, but child porn, i.e., embedded in the blockchain but only in certain blocks.

http://www.dailydot.com/business/bitcoin-child-porn-transaction-code/

http://money.cnn.com/2013/05/02/technology/security/bitcoin-porn/index.html

ooh i see, yep some stupid people did add messages into the blockchain about childporn... i was thinking of some protocol code that hid some premine. meaning there was more then 21m limit. phew.. as asia coin instantly died due to them trying that trick.
from my eyes i think apart from the occassional dumb message in the chain. there is nothing 'dangerous'. after all those links to kiddyporn sites are or will be obsolete soon and hopfully with a bit of pruning of all tx's in that block are spent. then they will disapear out of the chain.

I'm referring to the following, et al. even though the links provided are odd and the subject was discussed on this forum, I find it odd that just recently there's a mad rush to download the full block chain. Now, we have Brock Pierce as a board member of TBF thanks to his LGBT friends putting a keen spokesperson at their forefront.

i think gavins friendship got him the job, unrelated to the 'brock pierce boys club', which i think you quoted:
Brock Pierce has demonstrated in the past that he's fully capable of building a brand then destroying it so that he can advance his next great idea. In this case, MasterCoin comes to mind. His GoCoin is now located where Marketwire's Michael Terpin has his office, over the Third Street Promenade in Downtown Santa Monica, CA.

yep brock pierce is definitely known for shady business practices. but beardsly's appointment has nothing to do with pierce. so endlessly bringing up pierce into every topic will do more harm to your rep such as this case as its unrelated to pierce directly. though i truly do love your doxing of pierce on topics that relate to him directly.

so lets keep this topic about lack of communication of TBF/beardsly yet again. as too much bitch-slapping a criminal just makes it numb and painless. its better to beat on then occasionally and hard, rather then slapping their ass at every opportunity on every topic

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending
Now, I'm come right out ask it point-blank: WHAT THE FUCK IS HIDDEN IN THE BLOCK CHAIN?

in regards to?

i seem to have missed a discussion somewhere that hints that something is hidden in the blockchain, can you enlighten me as to what you mean or why your asking?

You are protected by safe harbor regulations, if you remove the offending software you will be fine. Safe harbor is usually used to protected web sites against it's users harming it, but it could also work in a p2p network situation. I would rather a legal expert comment on it and not my monday morning armchair legal knowledge.

so we know that the foundation isnt working for the community and does not show much in the way of actual tasks, agenda's or future plans of actions... so lets read on, i hope  the email explains a detailed plan of action, a list of tasks to complete, as well as many idea's they wish to bring to reality

How is it that Kevin Beardsley, the new Director of Membership at the Bitcoin Foundation, isn't even a member of the Bitcoin Foundation, as seen here?: https://bitcoinfoundation.org/members/

How is that I'm hard-pressed to find anything related to Bitcoin that Kevin Beardsley was involved in, let alone mentions, prior to April of this year, i.e. as seen here?: https://twitter.com/kevinhbeardsley

His last Twitter activity prior to April 2, 2014 was in December of last year, then he retweets his first Bitcoin mention. It's not until the 18th of April that he pens something original pertaining to Bitcoin on his Twitter account. In total, since the 2nd of April he's mentioned Bitcoin 90 times via tweets and retweets.

I did find a Kevin Beard and Michael Beardsley on a site that advertises the movie National Security, but when I click any of the actor's names, I'm redirected to porn sites, hence not providing the link (Google Search = "Kevin Beardsley" bitcoin [between the years 2010 and 2012, inclusive]):

In spite of the above, I am aware of... https://bitcoinfoundation.org/2014/05/05/introducing-mark-woods-affiliate-director-kevin-beardsley-director-of-membership/

“I discovered Satoshi’s white paper in 2011. A few months later, I called Gavin Andresen and invited him to lunch. When he accepted, I took a day off from work, rented a car, and drove across three states to discuss Bitcoin over mushroom risotto. That lunch changed the course of my life and I’m very excited to finally have the opportunity to work alongside Gavin and the rest of the foundation in playing a meaningful role in supporting the global Bitcoin community,” said Beardsley.

Meet Woods and Beardsley next week at Bitcoin 2014 in Amsterdam where Woods will lead the International Affiliates Summit on Friday, May 15th. If you are interested in leading a local chapter, request an invite by emailing [email protected]. We are also pleased to offer all registered attendees a complimentary annual individual membership to the foundation. Visit Beardsley at the foundation’s exhibit booth to opt-in for your membership in order to participate in our annual members meeting on Saturday, May 17th or email [email protected] with subject header: Bitcoin2014 Opt-In Membership.

From the same source as above, the following...

Beardsley joins the team from New-York based consulting firm, Fahrenheit 212, where he served as Engagement Manager. Previously, he has led major growth and innovation projects for companies including Samsung, Charles Schwab, Gannett Media and Fisher Wealth Management in North America, Asia, and the Middle East. He has also founded two international companies. He cut his entrepreneurial teeth at Duke University, graduating with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Chinese language.

It reads differently then the following from... http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:MZMwyZQ1No4J:aubau.com/team/kevin-beardsley/+&cd=14&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

During his time at Fahrenheit 212, Kevin has led the development of transformational growth strategies and breakthrough innovations for clients that include Samsung, Mattel, Gannett, Nestlé and Mars.

Another observation: Why does bitcoinfoundation.org have their website set to discourage indexing by the search engines?

Hello all,

My name is Kevin Beardsley, and I am the new Director of Membership at the Bitcoin Foundation.

I know I speak for everybody at the Bitcoin Foundation in saying "Thank you". Your work, enthusiasm, and commitment is core to Bitcoin's success. And while we haven't always done a good job of communicating it, we greatly appreciate your support.

My mission is to work with you to bring a new level of transparency and collaboration to the Bitcoin Foundation membership.  We will achieve this by taking a page from bitcoin itself - we will focus our efforts on developing the structures, processes and incentives to encourage collaborative creation.

Toward that end, we have spent the past weeks listening. Listening to understand what is causing friction, listening to what creates great outcomes, and listening to how we can better support you.

I'd rather keep this email short and let our actions do the talking over the coming weeks and months.

So, on behalf of the entire Bitcoin Foundation we would like to say "Thank you for your support."   And stay tuned...

Cheers,
Kevin

Does this mean B.J. Pierce is out? Seems to be a lot of friction going on there.
