great Idea, is the project is started ? this will benefit people like me newbies very well.... please make it work.. I am waiting for this...
I think it will be a bit too technical for a broad market to accept.
Why not make a game, where you mine a block, like you mine a gold mine. The people look for these blocks under ground, in a FPS type scenario.
They compete for these blocks, by doing battles, when two persons, find the same block.

I started with the miners, they participate in a kind of lottery.
