I will inherit the bitcoin on to my wife and child. the username and private key I wrote in a small note, and then I let it be known by my wife and child.

so that when i die, they know that i have bitcoin asset, and they will receive bitcoin.

Who will inherit your bitcoin? Would you die with all of them?
You can simply pass your bitcoins by writing down your private key and putting it in a bank's deposit box to make sure that it will get passed on to your heir. Just let them know that you hid a private key in the bank or seek help from an attorney.
Is it possible to have an escrow to pass on the bitcoin we leave behind to the people we love, possibly charity?
I won't use escrow to pass your bitcoins that you might leave behind because they might not do their responsibility(since they are not bound by law). Charity is not an option though unless you don't really have someone to pass it on.

Our word is our bond. This technology is worth fighting for. Letting the price slip to the abyss will not help bitcoin. It will delay its adoption due to the extreme volatility.Working together we can help change that outcome. I hope people will spread the word to sign this pledge and hodl.

A man cannot live without money either he can have all things but money is not a big thing when comparing other so we choose many way to earn but nothing will helpful to get rich soon but bitcoin can do anything.

Bitcoin cannot be inherited, and it'll be, if you hand over the keys needed for access on your account. The idea is great but hopefully, if there's no one who wants to claim any of your assets in bitcoin, bitcoin will automatically use the money you earned in some community services that'll help large numbers of people who are in need. That would be better.

It will be good, because someone can work for years earning bitcoin and died in one day, nobody got that money, the idea is polite

Technically, bitcoin cannot be inherited when we passed away. I am sure no one would want to take their coin with them when they die. Anyone will have someone to inherit their coins but they need to hand them the private keys and password in order to do that. As simple as that. It is very important to let our family know what our assets are so we can at least leave them something when we left the world.

unless you are alone in this world with no family, relatives or friends this does not concern you be cause when you die you simply pass your belongings including bitcoin to your Heirs.

as for using an escrow, it is impossible unless that escrow is a lawyer not a random person on the internet, no matter how trusted they are you still can't trust your bitcoins with someone else who is not bound by law to fulfill his escrow obligations.
How do you pass your bitcoin to your heirs? By giving them details before you die? Anyway, methinks there are people who would genuinely give part or all of their bitcoin to charity if they had the chance to.

Who will inherit your bitcoin? Would you die with all of them? A random thought came up: Is it possible to have an escrow to pass on the bitcoin we leave behind to the people we love, possibly charity? Since bitcoin is about empowerment, don't you think the holders of bitcoin can take after "The Giving Pledge" founded by Bill Gates? Is this "act of kindness" feasible so we can also help the poor should we die at any moment?
PS: I found this useful thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcointalk-escrows-trade-safely-855778 about escrows in this forum. Could such services be maximized towards the realization of the topic raised
Wow is this true?  i hope so!  but i dont think this is possible..because people are selfish and it hard to gain bitcoin profit and the risks are very high so I dont think those biggest share holders of bitcoin will even think about it. They have face so much risks of their money and those crocodiles will not be willing share the profits of their hard earned and gambled money.

Yes this is a good suggestion I mean if this can be regulated that those share holders who basically has the larger/largest bitcoin share can pledge and give back to the community to help others..but this has to come from the owner or share holders agreement if his willing to share because right now no this is still just a wish. If this will become true the act can help alot of homeless and less fortunate and most especially the street children. I really hoe one day this will become true..

Bitcoin cannot inherit unless you hand over your key to someone else. Otherwise, the bitcoin you hold will leave with you.
