If it helps anyone, my ticket at Bittrex took some 6 weeks to get to be seen by a person.
Meanwhile I expect the stash to have become bigger, so many of you will need even more patience.


PS. I still believe that Bittrex should have announced the change in their KYC policy a few days before it comes into action to allow people make the decision that suits them best. It's not scam, but it's bad business.

My account with Bittrex is now enhanced verified. It took me only two days of waiting and it helps if you are polite in writing your support emails from my perspective. It might have been also verified in 20 minutes if their net verifier was functioning well.

All the comments made about Bittex being suspicious and a scam are usually from frustrated people who cant wait. My advice is to be patient and be sure your documents are clear for them to see.

When an exchange deliberately makes it cumbersome and difficult to achieve full KYC verification, then that in itself is suspicious and can lead one to think they do that to limit access to user assets (bitcoins or whatever coins are traded on that site). It usually indicates an intention to delay access to those assets so they (the exchange) can use them in their favour. By using those assets in their favour I mean manipulate or expose those assets in the market for profit.

I am always suspicious of any kind of service that delays access to an account or product with the help of ridiculous excuses. KYC should be a simple procedure. It shouldn't take days or weeks.

It seems the only way to open the dissable account is do verification. Thank god i don't need to do that, when i login into my bittrex account, i skip the verification and try to withdrawal my btc, its only 0.013 and success withdrawal without any problem.

Ok now it has happened to my account. Bittrex asked for basic verification and then suggested that I go under the enhanced verification process. Happily I did to get it done. Then like some of you, I'm having the same problem. Something went wrong with processing of documents and the site told me to submit them again, but with no way to resubmit them.

I already emailed support. I expect its going to be long wait but I will post any progress in my experience so if it happens again to someone else, this thread will hopefully be helpful to them.

I opened a support ticket with Bittrex. They transitioned my account to Enhanced within 48 hours. Just check your account "Summary Tab" 48 hours after you open a support ticket. Make sure you upload the files with the ticket to reduce follow-up. You Should be good.

Thats a good idea, but sadly I missed that opportunity.

But the good news is Bittrex replied within 24 hours and has asked me to try again. I dont think they know the situation about the resubmit option not being available.

What I did was I told them I did everything I could and I have requested for a manual verification process. It could take another 24 hours or more for them to reply.

That is encouraging to hear. But when did you report the ticket? Just recently or some time ago? I'm afraid they are getting huge amount of tickets atm and I have this very same issue now for approx 3 days waiting. Not able to finish the verification and big amount of my crypto is totally stuck.

Although soon recovered(after 24h), but still let me be shocked.
