Past posts by fewcoins:

"Why don't you think it will go below 300??? The supply is being created at a massive rate & the demand is disappearing!!! Almost gone!!!"

"STOP THINKING YOU FOUND SOMETHING AMAZING THAT WILL BLOW UP ONE DAY TO MAKE YOU RICH! IT WILL NOT!!!"

"How is it a bull market long term when miners will continue to sell every coin they mint? That means unlimited selling pressure... think."

"The point is everybody is selling BTC, nobody is BUYING bitcoins and this will make the price go down until people panic & make the price decline even further! Endless cycle!!!"

"More like 3 year bear market into a crash that wipes BTC out just like that digital gold junk (the first virtual currency) TALK TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO LOST MONEY IN THAT CURRENCY then get back to me!"

"There is no new money coming in and miners are producing $1.8m in bitcoin PER DAY EVERY DAY, It will never stop or slow down. When do you see that much money coming into BTC daily???  Probably around when the last bitcoin is set to be mined & right before all the miners shut off their machines since mining no longer has a reward for them why would they run these machines & pay electricity just to keep the network running???

I think everyone will cash out long before the last bitcoin is mined anyway."

"LOL! Hilarious!!! Let's keep talking about rising prices when BTC has never increased in value since it passed $1,000 ONCE"

"Well people have been jumping onto this sinking ship all year! So hold your hat & jump onto the ride with money you don't mind giving away"

"And right now the supply is getting bigger and bigger everyday while the demand is getting smaller and smaller! Meaning the price will continue to go down!!! "

With language like that, it would appear as if he may have just been influencing weak hands to dump so he could pickup cheap coins. Either way, his flip-flopping reveals an agenda

Cashed out the daily balance near 335 but our main fully leverage holdings are still all in at the lower 300 range...

Not sure I understand.  Didn't you say you bought in @~317, leveraged?  What % have you cashed out @335, while I was listening to you and buying like a putz?  I've been hanging on your every word, and nao you tell me you've been cashing out?

Lol
Poll messed up by perma bulls and their masses of clone accounts.
It is clear as day the rally is over and we are building a new crash the upcoming week, lower than it has been for over a year! Prepare to short hard!

Sorry but this nice slow gain looks more promising than those usual insane price pops that don't last!

Slow gain? We are sliding off the slippery slope again, you know what will happen at the end of the slope... Things come crashing down, as we have seen over and over again.

What sliding off a slippery slope?? We have been hitting higher lows since 305 and are about to bounce back up after testing 320

I think its on a slower upgrade pace than when it skkyrocketted too the 1k mark the first time it will be a short steady rise instead of rockket ship roller coaster

Good news, the slow and steady gains are the ones that last, & most likely miners will sell less and slowly to wait to sell more at a high price... It should be good for everyone!

The price has been wandering around in the $300 - $400 range for months. Once in a while there's a brief excursion outside that range, then it comes back.

The current price is below an hour ago, a day ago, a week ago, a month ago, and a year ago. What bull market?

i'm afraid you're right.

And i'm an hodl Sad

Don't lose heart. Bitcoin will start 2015 likely near this price and will have an excellent chance of generating some decent % gains throughout the year. Sure this years performance is a bit crap - if you bought at the peak. But imagine the headlines next year - worst performer of 2014 to best performer of 2015. Plus nearly half a billion dollars of VC funding has entered the space in the last year. Expect fireworks before the next halving.

Make a new acct ur trolling is unbearable

No kidding. Remember months ago when fewcoins said (and I quote),

"All of those "buy walls" are sooo fake... I watch many of those people cancel ALL THE TIME! That's what happens with unregulated things!!! As a perma-bear, I can tell you BTC price chart looks exactly the same as a penny stock pump and dump that waves widly in the wind back n forth back n forth until its literally worth $0.00"

Here he's not only telling us that he's a perma-bear, but he's also telling us that he believes buy walls are fake and that bitcoin is going to $0.00.

And just today in the Bull Run Initiated Thread (just look in his posting history) he says:

"Amazing buy walls at 330 & 325 now too... We will be lucky to get coins around the 315-320 level again before this bounce really goes up"

This guy's trolling is indeed unbearable.  I hope more people continue to call out all the trolls.

As a disclaimer, I'm a big believer in bitcoin and I'm certainly hopeful that it may one day take over the criminal banking system that we have today. One of the biggest problems we have today is deception thrown at us everywhere we look.  It's bad enough that we have to put up with that stuff in the mass media, but we shouldn't have to put up with it in the bitcoin forums.  Call them out as you see them people

Not yet. It held over 300 this weekend which is a good sign, but it still has a long way to. A small rally over the week and further consolidation next weekend would be positive news.

It is holding up at 320-340, I feel it is more likely to go to 400 than 260

Yeah, 260 seems very far now.

Haven't been able to predict any of the prior runs that resulted in orders of magnitude higher price.  This time will be no different I'm sure.  It usually comes when you think it's going to stay at some low number forever.  Then, before you know it, the price has doubled and the real run is in full effect.   The real run will begin when big money finally goes all in.

Very true, but we will have a nice bounce to over 350

Really still too early to tell! If I had to put my money on it, I'd say we're in for another dip. But I don't know how low, a week ago I would've said a re-test of the $270s approximately. That would give us a nice and strong support, but we'd have to lift off from there or prepare for low $200s (I don't want to see those again!)

Maybe, maybe not. It is much too soon to tell. Over the past several months we have seen the price go from roughly 400 to 300 then back to 400 (and so on an so forth). What we saw is really just a continuation of the above.

In order for it to be considered a bull market again the price will likely need to break ~450 or so

I would not call this a bull run. IT went up slightly but in the past week or so it crashed much quicker and more than it has gone back up. This is more or less just a rebound. 2015 will probably decide whether it will be like 2014 and a slow decline or a plateau or the opposite with a slow or fast increase.

Really need to see a close above the downtrend trendline from the all-time highs through subsequent swing highs before we are in a bull-run (ideally above Stamp's pivot high of $454). Having said that, I also believe a lot of the year end selling is partially do to tax loss harvesting, especially with those that have large losses from buying the beginning of the year. I think January will prove to be a solid month for BTC as wash sale restrictions fade and people can get back in.

no hope from me this year i will not buy before march 15

I think January is a better choice?

For me, I will buy now. Actually I already bought most of it. I keep buying till price crosses 350.

It's not pessimistic to say HODL. It's optimistic, just on a longer time horizon. It might go up from here, but I see no particular reason that this is anything other than a rebound from the recent dip. There is not really any way to know for sure when Bitcoin will make its next order of magnitude run, even assuming it will, so you'd best get comfortable with it. I repeat, if Bitcoin continues growing exponentially, that still provides no real guidance for the short term. It could do anything in the meantime, and history has shown that it generally will. Relax and wait.

Impatience is a warning sign that you're about to lose money Wink

I am very bullish. The whales bought low after crashing the price. (My thinking...) Now they would want to push the price high to sell it.  Wink

Why so much pessimism?

You guys sold? or did you put leveraged short positions or something? And is trying to push the price further lower?
I don't know why, I get that impression.

There are huge buys. More bitcoin is bought than sold. But the price is not rising proportionate to that. I suspect manpulation.

Dead cat bounce again. This signals that we'll see sub 300 before the end of the year.
