Please post a link to this, I really don't think Jack Dorsey said anything like that. Surely as a CEO he knows there will ALWAYS be competition, even in the case of currencies, there is competition from competing systems. Even if Bitcoin is adopted worldwide, it won't be without competition.
This is a case of misconception I think. Just like when some fud is created and spread over the internet, these good-looking news are coming in the market now. But definitely we need a good, reliable source that can verify the statement by CEO Jack Dorsey. Things are not in such way as pretended so better is to give us a reference from where you have taken out this stamen.

CEO Twitter shocked everyone with a statement about bitcoin!
Jack Dorsey, chief executive of Twitter and payment service Square, said he sees bitcoin (BTC) as the single future currency of the world and the Internet, reports The Times, on March 21.

Jack Dorsey argues that the implementation bitcoin will take "more than ten years, but perhaps this process can also accelerate": "

"As a result, there will be a single currency in the world and on the Internet. Personally, I think it will be bitcoyne. "

In February 2018, Dorsey previously stated that his company Square is working to develop additional opportunities for interaction with Bitcoin through its Cash App, calling it "transformation technology for the company's industry."

Dorsey, in turn, agreed with The Times, which does not believe that at the moment BTC has the potential to become an effective currency, namely as a means of exchange:

"It's slow, and it's expensive and more people stop using bitcoin. There are newer technologies that are developed on the technology of blocking and make it more accessible for everyone. "

Bitcoin won't replace fiat simply because the government and the banks won't allow a decentralized system to take over the financial system. However, given how our modern society keeps moving towards cashless payments (electronic transactions) while leaving behind physical money, I can see Bitcoin being a more attractive option for payments than fiat money for the simple fact that it is decentralized and it can be used as a store of value.

IMO, Bitcoin and fiat will coexist for a very long time.

Really?! Sounds good news for all of us but there is something I'm bothered about. If twitter CEO believes in bitcoin's potential then why there are rumors spreading around that twitter will ban crypto-related ads? I don't see any sense at all because bitcoin is also a crypto and yet they ban it.

If they really support btc then they should also accept the concept of cryptocurrency despite of being an altcoin or bitcoin. Well, I guess they're just trying to influence the market to fall down and buy huge chunks of btc or they try to eliminate the competition favorable of btc that's why they did such act. (If both news are true)

Streamity Decentralized cryptocurrency exchange
Jack Dorsey, The CEO of Twitter and Square believes that bitcoin will replace fiat in a decade. In his recent interview to a news channel, he said that he is sure and believe that Bitcoin will be the only currency after 10 years to used by the whole of the world and there will be no any other currency.

With that news we can say that Twitter is in the favor of bitcoin and they are supporting bitcoin. There are many other bigger personalities who are supporting bitcoin and it is the proof that the coming future will be the era of bitcoin and with it we are sure that sooner bitcoin is becoming a global currency.
If the country authorized and acknowledged crypto like government accept bitcoin of course it possible to replace fiat but for me if you think more both btc and fiat are good to have so for me there's no need to replace fiat money but see how they good at or works,Moreover all country are difference so i think they say that because of some reason

Come on people. Do you really believe that fiat will cease to exist? You think that all merchants will have apps and POS's? There will always be places where you'll need to hand over something physical (fiat) in order to get what you need. You don't think old farmers will come to the market with smartphones and wait confirmation, do you?

I don't believe it will replace fiat, but I believe it will be store of value like gold and be more than $90.000 he says in a decade... I don't think such big change can happen in a very short time.

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
I know that it may sound ridiculous to some of you, but so did the predictions in 2013 and 2014 when people were saying "BTC will trade for 5000 USD in a couple years"
Everybody answered: -Are you dumb? We're in a bear trend, the value is going down from $1000! We may never see $1000 again. You'll be lucky if it trades for 500 not 5000.

IMO everything is possible, even the replacement. There were numerous discussions about the so called cashless society on the forum. In 10 years we might be talking about fiatless society.

I am not sure how to react to this because why would Twitter then ban cryptocurrency-related postings and ads if it's CEO believes that it can replace fiat money. That's counter-intuitive to say that the leader of a company would just allow it to ban something that he so roots for, but then again, there is always that possibility because a CEO is only concerned of how the company operates but does not totally dictate what path the business would take, especially for a social media platform that is very reliant on the wants of their users.

Bitcoin Casino Est. 2013
Some optimism is needed right now when the price is well below the 10k mark. I don't think that bitcoin will be the only currency in 10 years even if the CEO of Twitter thinks like that, everyone has his own opinion but saying that bitcoin will be the only cryptocurrency in 10 years is unreal for me. The reason why is in the link which explains us why making Bitcoin the only currency is impossible as long as there are 7.5 bln people and only 21 mln bitcoins.

This news will be better when given direct link source news reference and maybe the news is also a positive signal for bitcoin price movement. I did expect a lot of positive news that came up about crypto because the news could give people back confidence in crypto and might be able to increase the purchasing power to invest bitcoin. That way, the demand for a crypto will increase and the price will begin to rise as demand for a crypto increases compared to the demand.

Bitcoin being the only currency in the world in 10 years time is simply impossible. It takes years to phase out a currency and phase another one in. Not to mention the added difficulties with a world currency because all countries would have to be in line in terms of their economies. I do not think that we will reach a stage of having a global currency anytime soon because it would mean countries sacrificing their sovereign advantage and that will not happen. China for example would not be in the strong economic position it is now if there was a global currency.
