Subasset prices have been updated! There still exists some significant arbitrage opportunities between subasset price in IMMORTALS and that team's odds of winning the Super Bowl as I only updated prices for teams that had a 50% or greater shift in odds.

The Counterparty BitBowl Game is Now Live!

After some deliberation, I thought it would be fun to run the game as originally intended. The only two differences are that the grand prize is for a Rare Pepe instead of XCP, and entrants will use a token called IMMORTALS to purchase team subassets that are now available for sale on the Counterparty DEX.

Counterparty BitBowl Game Instructions:

• Everyone who purchased a team set or individual team tokens has received 100 IMMORTALS tokens per token (so if you bought a full set you got 3200 IMMORTALS).
• IMMORTALS are to be used to purchase subassets for teams (e.g., BENGALS.2023) that will be redeemable for a Rare Pepe (SOGGYPEPE or PEPETRAIN, or something better which is as of yet undetermined — all 3 options will be available after the Super Bowl).
• Team subassets are priced according to that team's odds of winning this season's Super Bowl (in Feb 2024), with odds data provided from here: https://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/futures/
• To commit your IMMORTALS, open the Freewallet Exchange and enter the trading pair (e.g., BENGALS.2023/IMMORTALS), and place a Buy order.
• If your team wins, you'll be able to place a Sell order of that token for your Rare Pepe!

BitBowl team tokens now back up for sale!

This is the final week of the NFL Pre-Season, so if you think you are sure of some major sleepers, now's the chance to capitalize! Buy your team token on the cheap now and sell it for a profit on the open market later, after they've proved they are Super Bowl-worthy, just as you so wisely predicted.

As an example, Johnny Manziel is an up-and-coming QB who plays for a team (the Browns) with a basement bargain token price of 0.1250 XCP (or 312.50 LTBC) per token.

IF the universe aligns perfectly for wunderkind Manziel and company, you can cash out your Browns token for the grand prize of 10 XCP after they win the Super Bowl. That's 10 XCP per token, so if you buy 10, that would be a 100 XCP payout.

Alternatively, if you consider yourself something of a suave trader/speculator, you can buy Browns tokens on the cheap now and sell them on Asset Exchange later, before the Super Bowl, but still at a profit. Its quite possible to triple or quadruple your investment if at some point the Browns become a bowl contender, in this situation.

Simply put, this is a new way to bet on this season's Super Bowl (NFL American football).

But instead of placing a wager and waiting for a payout, you purchase a digital asset (think "token" or "coin") that represents your wager.

Once you purchase your "team token," it is a tradeable commodity that you can sell for BTC, XCP or anything else listed as a Counterparty asset.

If the team that your team token represents wins the Super Bowl, you can sell it back on the exchange for the grand prize of 10 XCP.

So if you wanted to place a bigger bet, you could simply buy multiples of the same team token, they can be sold for 10 XCP a piece if that team wins the Super Bowl.

If your team doesn't win, you can still keep your token and do with it whatever you wish, including use it in next year's BitBowl!

2. how to place an order on the Counterparty Asset Exchange

Greetings American football fans and bitcoin enthusiasts alike. I am proud to announce that team tokens for the 2015 BitBowl are now on sale at the Counterparty Asset Exchange (accessible via Counterwallet).


Its a new way to test your NFL prediction skills by purchasing digital assets (team tokens) that represent a team's odds of winning the Super Bowl. If the team that your token represents wins the Super Bowl, you can sell it back on the exchange for a grand prize of 10 XCP (counterparty).

As the BitBowl uses the Counterparty platform to distribute team tokens, you can also buy and sell them for any other assets listed on the exchange (including BTC, XCP and other team tokens).
