Hey let's apply the saying "Those who forget the past, are doomed to repeat the same mistakes" The whole anonymous coin and wallet idea was cool at the time, but full anonymity will never succeed as a mainstream coin. The governments and the powers behind them will never allow it.

Bitcoin is being tolerated because it's pseudo anonymous and basically the same as cash. What happened with Amir Taaki and Cody Wilson? You seldom hear anything about them these days. Did I miss something?

Hi!

And thank you for your thoughts

"but full anonymity will never succeed as a mainstream coin....Bitcoin is being tolerated because it's pseudo anonymous and basically the same as cash."
You're right, but this is what they try to say to the people.
Actually the most anonymous way for a money transaction is...cash!!!Whereas bitcoin it's -as you mentioned - pseudo anonymous because everything is written on the blockchain (I am not saying it's easy to track, but much easier than all these big black markets transaction made with cash).

I don't know where Amir Taaki and Cody are or what they are doing right now, but that was a super cool project.
That's why I kept it into the t-shirt section and the art project.

I love the sentence "let there be dark", it's like let's go back to our privacy.

Cheers,

V.

Darkwallet is a failure and it's a dead project so I'm not sure why you are creating anything related to it .

What I am doing with Satoshigallery is to create iconography around the story of bitcoin, that's why I choose to use also the Dark Wallet project to the theme.

If you want to suggest me other themes, you are more than welcome!

Making something about OpenBazaar project would be great then

Hi guys

here you can see some of my art work about The Dark Wallet project (a software created by Amir Taaki and Cody Wilson in 2013 that allows users to anonymise  financial transactions)

Photo reportage about the development:

And my last art piece based on a portrait I made to Amir Taaki

I think it's important to crate an iconography around bitcoin, because for everyday people (and not tech/geeks/nerds/hackers) it's much easier to get infos about the bitcoin world through images. We have to spark people's curiosity towards bitcoin in the easiest way possible.
Bitcoin is step by step getting deeper in our culture, and a culture needs art.

Design create culture.
Culture shapes values.
Values determine the future.
