Bitcoin and gold is not same because of their stability on price value so people who is holding gold will never accept bitcoin as an alternative.

But bitcoin is bitcoin,we can make profits or loss in no time so one who wants immediate profits and willing to take risks then they will go to bitcoin than buying gold.

As you know very few people in the world who know or understand to Bitcoin so I think he is unknown or not understand Bitcoin that why he preferred to GOLD, as you will be Bitcoin will be the winner.

That Schiff is a well known gold shiller, he won't miss this chance because he can get a lot of attention from the community and at the same time if he can win his opponent. He will get a momentum to shill the gold even more. And, for your info. He owned Bitcoin too.
it is just he did not want to admit that Bitcoin is a good investment in term of ROI compared to gold. That it is.

I would not even count the debate as anything, because both system has their own usefulness for now, bitcoin is to serve as digital currency and digitally, it may be more use than gold when the volatility has disappear and can now be used as store of value, while gold will be very useful on the other hand to be held as physical while bitcoin cannot.

This is why I don’t like people complain these things, that is why there will always be enmity surrounding cryptocurrency, because everyone wants to compare it will all these things that has been established for decades. They compare it with fiat, now comparing it with gold. Bitcoin has a better technology, but that would not mean it is programmed to replace any of these two means that has been in existence.

This thing should not taken seriously into who's best in terms of value because for me they are all good investments in different fields. It is how you make money out of its platform.

I see gold and bitcoin can not be equated as investment material, this challenge in my opinion will be won by Anthony, if he really collects the concept of the future of Bitcoin, because someday Bitcoin will also make a major contribution in the world gold trade.

Recently, Peter Schiff, CEO and chief global strategist of Euro Pacific Capital Inc, a gold lover and highly skeptical about Bitcoin, tweeted saying that he will be hosting a live session on YouTube and consequently invited willing participants to change his view towards Bitcoin.

Meanwhile, crypto enthusiast, Anthony Pompliano accepted the challenge and tweeted, claiming that he hopes, Schiff walks away as a Bitcoin believer.
The debate started with the opening statement, Bitcoin Bug – Pomp said that he believes the system is transforming and people in the digital age would rather trust a piece of code.

What's your point of view on this?
Personally I love debates because I want to see people smashing in their different opinions and i love to see its facial reactions as well thats makes me thrilled, By the way Gold vs Bitcoin who's the winner in my personal opinion there was no winner to me since Gold as an old asset class still proven useful and stable form of asset while Bitcoin as a digital age asset class has also proven its advantage in our time so its very important to know the both parties stand about the topic.

these things are a waste of our time in my opinion. it is always two sides each completely disagreeing with the other party and both having prejudices about the topics they are discussing.
on top of that when it comes to bitcoin the side that is disagreeing with it is either completely unfamiliar with bitcoin or is spreading misinformation about it.
