no wonder the newbie doesn't read the rules, copy-paste without including the source link and post here to expect merit Cheesy
This isn't the only newbie account that does that. very much I see it
Yeah, might not be a good move for a newbie but hopefully will eventually learn from his mistakes.

There are many cryptocurrencies existing nowadays. And there are mistakes about coins and tokens. What really is the difference between coins and tokens? Coins has its own blockchain while token does not have its own blockchain?. That is the difference between the two. If you are going to invest it is more prefer to have coins because it is more used in the industry. Coins will make your money grow higher and bigger and that can be a very good chance to make your money grow bigger. With bitcoun you can make your money be productive and you may gain so much money. we don't know but you already made your point.

This is a piece of very helpful information only if this something that you wrote on your own, well, as it stated above that it was already posted in a different forum then, it is like a stolen piece of info, though it is helpful when it comes to newbies and surely, the difference is just right there.

Hi guys, this topic is made for the newbie. I remembered before I was also confused about token and coin. So I will explain it in the most simplest form I can think of. Though there are many things that can be used to differentiate but I will use the most crucial difference between them.

First what is a coin?

A coin in the cryptocurrency sphere refers to the digital coins or cryptocurrency that has its own blockchain for example we have bitcoin, litecoin, doge coin, ripple and many more.

What is a token?

A token is a form of cryptocurrency which does not have its own blockchain. It uses existing blockchain as its platform for example we have ERC-20 tokens that uses Ethereum Platform such as EXMR, BTCRED and many more. Aside from Ethereum Platform other tokens uses Waves Dex, and NEO whose tokens are called NEP-5 tokens.

So in short there are two kinds of cryptocurrency the coin and token. Coin are digital coins with its own blockchain while tokens uses existing blockchain platform to function.
