Anyone have any idea what this is all about?

Did you try it another time since yesterday? Because for me it's working fine as for now.
So if it still doesn't work for you it's certainly because of an issue related to your location.

Never heard of domain suspension. I don't know if it had happened before but domains can expire. Hosting company could also suspend accounts but domains suspension seem odd.

But there's the announcement of stake.com already about their license making this problem. Such a big casino like stake.com can't just disappear like that.

So, I just checked the website and it is currently running fine no issue. I checked their forum and found an official announcement about the issue that happened earlier.

There is an official statement on BTT itself you can read it here.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54095318

Thank you for the information. Yes, they have a problem with the license provider before. But now, they are back online again, and it looks like they already fix the problem. I don't see any problem with their site now, but I don't try to log in. Here is their statement:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54095775 and this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54095827

To OP, please close the thread since we knew that the site has fixed the problem.

There are many reasons why a page has been blocked. This ranges from unpaid bills to scam and suspected spam (of course, does not mean that I assume a scam). Basically, a provider only takes a website offline if it may damage its infrastructure (financially, reputation, ...). This could also happen, for example, due to attacks / DDoS, malware, etc.

Stake.com will definitely do everything possible to clarify the facts and bring the website back online as soon as possible. Ev. StevenStake can also say more about it, he is probably the one who knows best what is currently the problem and why the website is offline.

i dont experienced this problem yesterday because im already logged on but i see on the chat that many are complaining so i tried opening the link on another tab and it shows me this  erorr  .

this happen also on primdice too     , support said it was some kind of technical issues and there is no point of worrying  . few hours later the site is up and running fine again   .  stake and primedice have same owner tho , and primedice is an old casino so there is no need to suspect that they are turning into a scam   .

Yep, the site still hasn't released any official statement on what's happened and neither has the CEO's Bitcointalk account, so I'd assume they're still in talks with their licenser to see what's really going on. Nothing wrong with withdrawing your funds now if you're concerned because of the lack of information everyone has at the moment. Still seems like their site's operating like normal for the moment, though.

I'm always seeing Stake.com's promotion into some of my frequented websites and message boards so it's quite confusing as to why I was seeing that same image. Never really bothered to play on the site but they are pretty well-received in my circles. Good thing it got sorted out.

Removing the license seal doesn't really resolve their issue, as their license is still suspended. It means they are currently running without license. I don't think it's a smart thing to do, but I guess they know the reason of suspension and know if it's a smart move to operate without the seal by the time being.

I don't see other sites with curacao license having this issue.

Yup, but that's a workaround they have to make in order to get their site up running. Whether it breaks the ToS of the license provider, I don't know. I hope they figure it out as soon as possible so as not to incur any unnecessary repercussions on removing the license seal (because I'm sure it brings some questioning on the table for Stake.com).

We fixed the issue.

You will notice we had to remove the license seal temporarily because it was it that was causing the message.

We are talking to license provider to figure out what was the reason and we will update everyone as soon as we have all information.

Thank you all and as always we are fast to react and sort out any issues.

It seems like the issue with the curacao license. They have now removed the license seal and the site is working just fine. The measure seems temporary. They are one of the most reputable and largest casino. Hope they won't repeat such issues in the future.
It was quick but they seem to have the one at loss. As a lot of people are online from their home quarantine.

Interesting. I tried checking the site out and it displayed the same message(Thought it could have been an issue pertaining to specific users). This looks really bad for Stake at the moment since it is one of the leading crypto gambling sites.

https://forum.stake.com/topic/33709-i-just-refreshed-the-site-and-this-information-and-this-popped-up/

Looks like they have issues with their license.

I see the same message and it seems there are some licensing issue or something but what I do not understand is that how they suspend a site? They must inform them domain service provider and the service provider forward the domain to some other contents?
