It won't be long before digital slavery.

What a statement! Bingo!

That's exactly it is! Imagine a world where everything is digital and under the surveillance of the government. Digital money is built to achieve this level of surveillance where every single transaction will be under government's radar. No one will be able to stack black money. So one will be able to evade taxes by under reporting their income. So money laundering activities will take place etc etc.

That's exactly is the aim for governments and digital money is the smoothest way to achieve this.

"The European Central Bank (ECB) Rulebook Development Group has been designing a set of rules, standards and procedures for digital euro payments. The group has published a report on the rulebook draft, allowing the public to glimpse the technical aspects of central bank digital currency design.

The development group includes representatives of industry advocacy groups and national central banks. It began its work in January 2023 and has addressed functional and operational models, high-level architecture and standards and participants’ rights and obligations under draft legislation."

Despite all the contradictions in the policies of countries, digital money is being actively introduced and developed in all countries with good economies. It won't be long before digital slavery.
