The economic boom in Canada due to the influx of miners

According to the publishing house Reuters, the Canadian economy in 2017 demonstrated a steady growth of about 2% in December, experiencing "unexpectedly large job growth."

They also report that Hydro Quebec can not keep pace with the energy needs of crypto-currency miners who settle in the province due to cold weather, reducing the requirements for cooling farms. "We can not manage all the projects that appear, - says the representative of Hydro Quebec Mark-Antoine Puliot, adding: "It's developing very fast, so we need to be careful."

The province has spare capacity in 100 terawatt, with one terawatt hour consuming 60 000 houses, but the mining process can cause serious strain.
