This  morning i saw a post on kyber telegram channel that Chinese investors have been excluded from their crowdsale. I think this will have a serious effect on the ongoing ICOS . I hope they come out with a solution to this by just regulating the ICOS,  truly a lot of icos are just out there to scam investor and will not fulfil a single promise they make or execute their roadmap.
On what ICO? You are not really asking a question. No one is really interested in what the China have banned or not banning this week, it will all be different next week. They are just throwing their weight around and the effect becomes less and less every time. Every now and then, these news of banning Bitcoin and ICO will fade away and each time it will have less impact. Some people are misusing such news and creating Fud and panic in bitcoin community.

In retrospect, looks like you might have been right. The dip created by the China news was the perfect buying opportunity. Could have made 15%+ buying after the news came out.

Suspension of the ICO is a temporary, mandatory measure of the Chinese government in response to an increase in the number of fraud cases between the ICO. Thus, only in July-August this year, according to the Chinese government, $ 750 million was allocated as investments for the ICO, of which 91 percent were fraudulent and were not transparent. Therefore, China implemented a number of measures aimed at tightening the requirements for persons conducting ICO and licensing this activity. After their holding, ICO will be allowed, and bitcoin and etherium will be significantly strengthened.

It definitely is going to affect the ongoing and in the stream ICO’s. But excluding Chinese investors from crowdsale doesn’t make any sense. Almost 80% of the ICO’s and the cryptocurrency trade are from China so, at first Chinese government made obstacles for the Chinese investors and now this. It is not fair. I hope the Chinese government comes with a solid solution to the problem rather than ban on stuff.

Too much FUD and speculation about China! I advise to sit down lay back and wait 4  8 weeks and thing will become more clear. I do not believe they will forbid icos rather implementing mechanics to control securities...

Yeah, this is an over-reaction. Unless Kyber is based in China or is somehow subject to Chinese jurisdiction, there's no risk to them. China may have banned ICOs, but that doesn't matter to a non-Chinese company. Even if a few Chinese buyers find a way to buy your coin, how does that jeopardize anything?  It's throwing the baby out with the bath water.

We will know if a particular ico just wants money and no roadmap to implement and just want to run if they accept investment coming from countries that restrict ico, so if you see ico that let chinese and us people to invest there's a risk that this is a scam site

These are just temporary solutions there is a news that the ico ban is a solution for a short period of time because suddenly implementing a law would take time to take effect and they need to control all the ico.
So there is already a regulation being made and after a few weeks i guess or end of september chinese investors will again be able to invest but with some terms which are yet to be announced.

It's best to avoid problems, thats why they dropped the chinese. Lets wait for official announcements and see how the future plays out, ICOs will probably start accepting chinese investors in the very near future, once the government sorts this mess.

I believe the chinese will find another way to participate in the icos. But the kyber already used the id verification to verificating the whitelist of the investors. I will be so difficult to send the fact identification and the chinese can't participate in the ico. The only possible thing to avoid chinese investors this caused by the anticipate the pboc's warning.

This was a fuc*ing mess... bitcoin dropped a lot from all this news, but i dont think they all are 100% real, there must be a little lie in all of this.
by the way, bitcoin is slowly recovering from all this fud, it is terrible, but  two days ago everybody was talking about dumping their  coins, it is insane.
But we are recovering now, and dont sell your coins right now because you are only gonna get a loss from all of this.

It doesn't make much sense to ban Chinese investors. China didn't ban investors from participating, they banned Chinese based organizations from conducting ICOs. As far as I understood, Chinese crypto holders can still participate in ICOs elsewhere in the world.

This is a good move to the ambiguity and uncertainty that the Chinese government demonstrates in relation to its actions related to the settlement of the crypto currency. China needs to more clearly explain its intentions and actions to the community.
