The old version is running fine but the problem right now the update notification keeps showing up. That is why I decided to download the new version and use the portable version as temporary. -snip-
It's working fine now, so just FYI:
It can be disabled in the settings if you do not want to be a guinea pig for updates  Grin

Preferences -> General Tab -> Uncheck: "Automatically check for software updates".

Block halving is coming.
Right now it's running fine after I reboot my PC and I just move the portable version to the separated folder and now it's working fine but it takes longer to show up unlike the old version of electrum.

Anyway, Thanks for the solution I thought that it needs a python as the Linux does.

Did you try rebooting and trying from a fresh startup? It might be that ghost processes are causing issues...

You shouldn't need Python sources to run the portable .exe as it should be "self-contained"... Unfortunately, I don't currently have an x86 Win7 system to test with Undecided

Let me ask if how the latest electrum 3.3.4 portable version to make it work.

I tried to open the portable version but nothing happens no popup or it's not running. The old version is running fine but the problem right now the update notification keeps showing up. That is why I decided to download the new version and use the portable version as temporary.

My laptop OS is Windows 7 32bit.

Do I still need to install the Python sources first to make the portable works?

Just checked the taskbar it's running on the background but it's not showing. Anyone experience this?
