For reasons beyond my fathom, those Winklevii media darlings seem to attract a disproportionate amount of media attention. Any time they kick up a fuss, lots of people tend to follow. This whole thing is merely a storm in a teacup and there is absolutely no threat to any Bitcoin fundamentals. I just figure it's probably going to be a big song and dance and that there will probably be some resulting tumult in the markets. No big deal, though. Enjoy the show.

And no one’s officially in charge of it.

When there is something that is finite, and someone tries to horde it all and abuse it’s value, that finite thing almost always gets lost (human stupidity), stolen (human maliciousness, or reabsorbed by the general population.
