I wouldn't call it a visa-free regime. The fact that Europe has provided to the Ukrainians it's just a simplification of crossing the border. The right to work, the Ukrainians do not have and if they violate the law of the EU biometric passport will not enable them to enter Europe again. I do not see a reason for joy.

The Ukrainians will never get the right to work in the European Union. At least in the near future. As per the current European Union regime, the priority is to be given for non-white Muslim immigrants and unfortunately the Ukrainians doesn't fit in to this description.

They have beautiful women though!
It is more likely the men will travel to Europe.
Visa-free regime requires biometric passports. This requirement makes crossing the border more difficult. Besides, forget all that for crossing the border still need to provide an invitation, a ticket on the way back your hotel, and 50 euros for each day of stay in Europe.
You need an invitation for visa. In a visa-free regime you can enter without invitation. Only embassies deal with those letters, not the border control official.

There are around 42 millions people in Ukraine. Let's see how EU countries, for example, Germany will give them work. Even if 2 millions will imigrate to EU, Germany can take some part of them.

It will not be much of a problem for the European Union nations. If they can allow the immigration of 2 million Muslims from the Middle-east, then why can't they allow the same number of Ukrainians? After-all, the Ukrainians are much more law abiding, when compared to the Muslims.

Autor, Your worries are groundless. I myself live in Ukraine. Here everything is safe except for the ATO zone. Besides, absence of tourist visa regime does not give the right to work, working visas will be needed as usual.

This is not a good decision. I think that the number of refugees will increase and they will destroy all the beauty of Europe.

521 member of the European Parliament supported the granting Ukraine visa-free regime. Let me remind you that in Ukraine there is a war. Whether it will lead to the fact that migrant crisis in Europe will intensify?

Does this mean that we do not need a visa when we are going to visit Ukraine? If that is true then that is a good news to tourists and travelers. But if there is a war the tourists and travelers will still be afraid to visit their country. Hope the war in their country will end so a large number of visitors will flood their country given their no visa policy.

As already said, this visa-free regime is only for travelling through Schengen zone for Ukraine and Georgia citizens. It's mainly for tourism and business trips.
In my country some companies startied to hire workers from Ukraine, because companies can pay them lower wages than for local people. If visa-free regime would allow to work them legally,I think we would see much cheap work power from Ukraine.
Visa-free regime is not true. Actually this is a simplified mode of crossing the border. To go to Europe, you need to provide the same documents as for visa. This is just on the border, not at the Embassy. Work visas are issued as before.

Ukrainians are nice civilized people as far as i know but this is a political decision.  Visas are there to protect countries from terrorists and illegal immigrants and Ukraine isn't the wealthiest country there is.  They are bribing Ukraine to make Russia mad again.  Cool

Applying for a visa is not a big deal unless you have a very fucked up life anyway.

On the other hand Ukrainians and eastern Europeans are more like a "white niggers", not getting welfare but being forced, often illegally into minimum wage jobs regardless of their qualifications and education. As a side effect, these cheap slaves push down wages for local population, which is major reason why elites support this human trafficking.

You are right. I have heard about Ukrainian and other Eastern European immigrants forced to work in the blue collar sector, despite having advanced educational qualifications such as doctorate or masters.

^^^^^"

(No wonder if one can buy ph.d. and master certificates for 1000$ in eastern europe and russia lols)

What war? The drawn out posturing at the borders is not a war, my friend.

Ukrainians are different breed from welfare seekers from african and arab countries. Those create jobs for locals in social welfare, effectively turning wheels of western economies, which work like banks but pretend to be human rights NGOs on the outside.

Both groups are being taken advantage of. But for different reasons.

In US landscape, take the difference between "refugees" from places like Somalia and Gastarbeiters from Mexico  Wink

This will be of little use for the Ukrainians. If they (legally) can't work in the European Union, then what is the use in having a visa free regime? I assume that a lot of them will start working illegally. Some will apply for the refugee status as well, especially those from the Donbass.
And what prevents to do that now? Visa-free regime need more Europe than the Ukrainians. Those who want to illegally work in Europe for a long time and no working visa this is not a hindrance.

Ideally, the European Union should give preference to Ukrainian immigrants over the Muslim rapefugees from the Middle East and Pakistan. But for political reasons, they refuse to do that. Let's wait and watch.

Its actually really none of my business because neitheirnam I in Europe or I am from Ukraine but however I need to be mindful of what the people in Ukraine could be going through and the thinking of the European parliament to have arrived at that position after so much meditation which I believe they will have enough good reason and we should also not be unmindful of our colleagues leaving in an inhumane situations...

They'll just emigrate like they did to Poland.
At least they're hard working, unlike rapefugees.

Let me remind you that in Ukraine there is a war.

The Ethnic Cleansing?
In Ukraine there is no ethnic cleansing. There is an aggressive attack of a neighbor - Russia. The war waged by the Russians and fully sponsored by them. You can carry any nonsense. Nobody believes you. In any case, you will lose in Ukraine and in Syria.
