On the other hand it can too be big win win! Beyond the shields and swords there is all the opportunities to develop ties between japaneses and americans, from cultural exchange to trade to what ever!

For me it's clear that the best options is to discuss the problems that arise from the presence of the empire. For example flights paths, expand locations, safety etc!

For this it's important that while the fog is maintenained but that all needs of everyone are understood. From ecosystem preservation to bases expansions. Problems can only be solved by solutions. But to have solutions the needs of each must be express honestly.

The first advantage is that with a rational, logical and fully explained problems, all the dishonnests can be exposed.

For example the guy against american basis expansion because he want to build a factory on the same spot, ot the guy who pretend to fight for the sea cows while his only goal is to kill them all...

Peace is only possible through understanding and for that free speech is the only path.

I think there is great achievement to be celebrated, us forces have now a lower crime rate than the local population, it's good, but it can still be improved. Apparently the biggest problem now with the locals about the installations are :

Noises and "occupation" in the sense that it takes place... island, space... easy to understand the tensions.

my goodness...

yes it's pristine

this is strong... undissolveable resolve.
